As the eerie silence enveloped the dimly lit room, Sarah's heart raced with anticipation. She turned to face Ethan, her eyes wide with uncertainty.

"Ethan, did you hear that?" Sarah whispered, her voice trembling slightly.

Ethan glanced around the room, his expression mirroring Sarah's unease. "I didn't hear anything," he replied, his voice low.

But before Sarah could respond, a faint rustling sound echoed from the corner of the room. It was barely audible, but it sent shivers down her spine.

"There it is again," Sarah said, her voice barely above a whisper. "We need to get out of here."

Ethan nodded in agreement, his hand reaching for Sarah's as they cautiously made their way towards the door. But just as they reached for the handle, the door slammed shut with a deafening bang, trapping them inside.
