Chapter 95: New Family

"My dear, that is you," she whispered in Ana's ear while pointing at the photo that was in Ana's hand.

Ana felt a chill run down her spine as her mother's words sank in. Her hand started shaking and becoming clammy. I don't believe it. That can't be me.

She started thinking about the happy memories that she had of her adoptive mother.

I can't believe my whole life was a lie! The person I believed to be my mom is not! She thought to herself, her eyebrows creasing in disbelief.

Her eyes flitted toward her mother's face. Ana's mother had a bright smile, treating this day as a happy memory, one she would never forget.

*I am happy that she is finally home. It was a long-awaited journey, one that we never expected, especially after the fire.*
