“With every rule you placed over me, I feel like my life was never mine!” She declared as her frustration and anger rose quickly.
The words hung in the air, leaving a cloud of tension to fill them.
Isabella shifted from one foot to the other, unable to control her rapidly changing emotions.
She tried keeping them at bay, but to no avail; it didn't work. Before she could do something she’d regret, her wolf interrupted her.
“Come on, Isabella. Mother should not see you acting this way. You must calm down so we can hear what she says.” Her wolf said urgently.
Isabella huffed, annoyance filling her mind. She never thought that her wolf would do this. Isabella knew from the beginning that she was on her side. But never really trusted her feelings to take place.
“Fine, I’ll agree with what you told me to do. I hope she changes her mind, though.” She replied.
Despite the unease she felt, her mother maintained an air of disdain with crossed arms.
Why does Isabella have to act like she’s better than everyone else in the pack? Doesn’t she understand the implications of her actions? I wish she would accept the responsibility instead of focusing on herself. Her mother pondered with a frown.
Isabella sighed as her eyes scanned her mother’s face, and tears started forming behind her eyes.
I hate this f*cking life! Why must my mom constantly dictate everything I do? The more she did it, my resolve worsened each time. I wish she could understand the way I’m feeling with every restriction she places on me, does nothing but stop me from doing what I want. She whined, her heart breaking with each passing moment.
“I don't know how much more of this I can take, Mom," she muttered angrily.
For a brief moment, the air stiffened around them, causing goosebumps to form on her body.
Then, out of nowhere, the sound of clinking boots echoed on the wooden floor.
Afraid of whoever it was, Isabella reeled back in shock, and her heart rate increased rapidly.
Who could be listening to our conversation? Is it someone in our family? Or someone else entirely? Isabella wondered while looking from the door to her mother.
Finally, she spoke, her voice filled with worry, “Who’s there?”
But there was no answer, it was as though you could hear a pin drop. After waiting for an answer, Isabella sighed.
She returned to the conversation, leaving what was to happen up to fate.
Her mother sighed a breath of relief as she observed Isabella’s facial expression.
She wore a small smile, but it wasn’t there. Then, her mother spoke, her voice just above a whisper.
“Listen, child. As the Princess of the pack, you must marry the Alpha King!” She declared disdainfully.
Since the very beginning, she always forced her to do what was right for the pack. Yet, she never truly listened to Isabella and her needs.
Isabella crossed her arms over her chest, anger and disappointment filling her mind.
My mother has never allowed me to voice my reasons, and yet, I want to tell her exactly how I feel. I just wish she would listen to me. She pondered, her heart rate slowing just enough to let her talk.
She looked her mother straight in the eye, determination growing as the moments passed.
“Look, mom. I know that is what you want me to do. But I can’t force myself to.” Isabella stated, her voice void of any emotions.
She wasn’t ready to get into a screaming match, especially because that was her mother. And didn’t want to cause any more problems than she already was in.
But all Isabella wanted was her support on everything she had ever done. Yet, as the Princess, she knew her role was to always think about the success and needs of her packmates.
As time ran on, her mother frowned at her words. Hurt and sadness formed in her heart as she continued listening to her words.
But then, she had an epiphany; something dawned on her mind. A way she could change their lives, yet she didn’t know how Isabella would respond to it.
She will never get the chance to do what she wants. I have her best interests for her. Either way, Isabella will marry him tomorrow. Her mother thought while inching closer towards Isabella.
With each step she made, her heart grew weary at the thought of her daughter not listening to her. But she knew she had to figure out a way to get her to choose the best option.
Her mother stood in front of her and grabbed her by the hand.
She’s my child, and I’ll do anything I can to ensure the success of our pack and her safety. She wondered while she started running small circles over it.
Then, after a few seconds, she brought it up to her heart, hoping to calm Isabella’s fear and anger.
I hope this works. Maybe she’ll see that I am doing this for her. She wondered while trying to give her daughter the confidence she desperately needed.
What the f*ck does she think she’s doing? I mean, come on, we haven’t had the best relationship. So, I don’t understand why she has to act so lovingly toward me. Isabella pondered while gingerly removing her hand from her mother’s grip.
“Isabella, you are going to marry him!” She stated with a smile on her face.
A frown formed on Isabella’s face. The thought of why her mother would be forcing her hand caused her heart rate to increase again. At one point, she believed her mother saw a way to listen. And now, her life is a mess once again.
Ugh! Why would she do this to me? I could never get my f*cking way, and it’s frustrating. She wondered and crossed her arms over her chest.
Isabella peered at her mother, her eyes widening with each moment that passed.
“You know what, fine! I’ll do it. But I’m not at all happy about it.”
“You know what, fine! I’ll do it. But I’m not at all happy about it.” She declared through clenched teeth. Isabella desperately wanted to do things on her own, but now it was as though the rug had been pulled right from under her. Relief filled her mother's mind as she listened eagerly to her daughter’s response. After a brief moment, she nodded. Her pointed teeth showed through her mouth as she smiled at Isabella. I can’t wait til she truly understands the meaning of how to be a good leader. And what it means to marry not just for love and companionship. Her mother thought before speaking. “Child, I'm glad you see the reason behind what I told you to do. Trust me, this is what's best for us right now.” She told Anabella, her voice just below a whisper. As her mother spoke, she shifted from one foot to the other, irritated by her mother’s words. At one point, she felt like running away and taking life into her own hands. And now, Isabella regretted for a second the way she acted.
Adrian looks at me with concern in his eyes. "What do you mean, Samantha? Are you having doubts about us?" I take a deep breath and look into his eyes. "It's not about us, Adrian. It's about the situation we are in. Our marriage is still arranged, and there are expectations from our packs. I just worry that we're moving too fast, and we might not be able to fulfill those expectations." Adrian's expression softens as he takes my hand and gives it a reassuring squeeze. "I understand your concerns, Samantha. But I want you to know that I am fully committed to making this work. We will find a way to balance our duty to our packs with our love for each other." I feel a sense of relief wash over me as I look at Adrian. He is right. We can make this work if we work together and stay committed to each other. As the days go by, Adrian and I continue to spend time together. We go on long walks, share meals, and talk about everything under the sun. Our love for each other grows stronger with

The air in the moonlit garden grew thick with tension, and the gaze of the new Alpha bore into me, stirring an unsettling blend of emotions. The pack exchanged glances, sensing the underlying currents of change that this unexpected revelation had ushered in. "Samantha," the new Alpha continued, his voice carrying a mixture of assurance and mystery, "there's more to our connection than you know. Fate has a way of intertwining our lives, and our paths have crossed for a reason." I stood there, caught between the shadows of my past and the uncertain future terrain. Adrian's presence loomed in my thoughts, the vows we exchanged, and the challenges we faced together flashing before my eyes. But destiny, it seemed, had other plans. "What do you mean?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper. The new Alpha stepped closer, his eyes locking onto mine. "Our packs have been intertwined for generations, Samantha. The contract that bound you to Adrian was just one chapter in a story that goes

The moon, our silent accomplice, bathed us in its ethereal glow, casting a glow upon the path that lay ahead.Amidst the dance, my true mate broke the silence, his voice a gentle caress on the night breeze. Their intertwined fingers provided comfort, but the lingering unease in Samantha's heart intensified.Suddenly, a haunting melody echoed through the woods, captivating their senses. As Ana took the book in her hands they automatically started roaming over it. And her mind was racing fast. 'Why does this feel familiar, but at the same time it is not?' She pondered as her eyes started hazing over, then they closed. Her heart started beating rapidly out of her chest. "What's happening? Why are my eyes closing on their own?" Ana thought to herself while allowing sleep to take over her. When suddenly, a memory flashed in her mind. Something which was a distant memory. Once it took over her senses, she found herself standing in the dimly lit halls of a grand castle. Being a werewolf, her senses heightened more. The scent of old worn books filled her nostrils. 'Where am I?' She pondered while trying to understand where she ended up. Ana started looking around the place when whispers filled her ears. "Alexander, are you seeing this?" She asked, but when she looked to her side, her heart sank. He was not there with her. The longer she was away from h
As they stood outside Ana's father's office, the air around them began to thicken with tension. It was a sense that something was brewing behind the walls. Something was going to happen, yet they didn't know what.Ana's mind raced many miles a minute, trying to understand it all. A mix of emotions swirled in her hurt, something that she had never known. Yet finding out about her birth family stirred it up.'I don't know if I should do this. For some reason, my heart feels heavy, and I don't know why,' Ana wondered as she shifted from one foot to the other. Her nerves were running rampant in her body, but she couldn't calm herself down.It took everything in her to slowly come back to the present and hear what Alexander said.'I hate seeing her like this. Why can't I figure out how to help her get through her rampant emotions?' Alexander pondered as he searched her eyes for any sign of regret. Before she could think about it anymore, Alexander interrupted her thoughts. His voice was bo
As night turned into day, birds started chirping, a sign that a new day had come. The sun began shining through the closed window blinds. The light danced around the room, enhancing each detail of Alexander's body.Every time he stretched, his abs protruded from underneath his pajama shirt. While this was happening, Ana was having a tense conversation with her father's assistant. As Alexander stood off the bed, the covers pooled around his feet, making a nice circle around them. Then he stretched once again and blinked a couple of times. As Alexander tried to remove any remnants of sleep that he had left, his mind started racing. Who is that talking with Ana? He wondered while just waking up.He squinted his eyes trying to see who was standing by the door. But he couldn't figure it out. After a few minutes, his eyes fully adjusted, and his anger became palpable. Alexander started balling his hands into fists.Whoever is talking with her makes my hair stand on the back of my neck, Alex
After her mother opened the bedroom door, Ana's eyes widened at the incredible sight that was laid out before them.It was large with an open bay window, and a blush pink bed was to her right. Everything was perfectly beautiful. And that was something she desperately needed to have. The bedroom was laden with so many trinkets, and her eyes scanned every single one. "Wow! Look at this place! Everything here is exquisite," she declared as her eyes bore into something in the room. Ana started inching closer wanting to find out what it was that she was observing. Her hands were shaking uncontrollably, but with determination, she would not allow it to get in the way. While Ana was enjoying the view, her mind began running a thousand miles a minute. This life was new for her, especially with everything that she had gone through. Yet, finally, she could have the life that she dreamed of. But is this just a dream, or will she wake up to find that this is real?'This place is beautiful. I n
Ana leaned closer as the last words left her mother's mouth. Her hands found the edge of the leather couch, and she grabbed onto it. She desperately tried to keep herself grounded, while listening to what her mother was saying. Ana began to pensively think about how and why now her mother was trying to be a part of her life. 'Why did my biological mother have to appear after so many years? Was it pre-ordained by the moon goddess? Or was there something else at play?' Ana wondered as she tried to understand what the meaning of her new life meant for her. "Ana, are you listening to me?" Her mother questioned before she continued with the story. Absentmindedly, Ana nodded, "Yeah, I am." She replied with a smile on her face. Right before her mother started talking again, Ana began thinking about her life, and how it would change. 'Will my mother's revelation guide me in how I view myself? And is it going to fill the void in my heart?' She wondered as her mother continued. "
"My dear, that is you," she whispered in Ana's ear while pointing at the photo that was in Ana's hand. Ana felt a chill run down her spine as her mother's words sank in. Her hand started shaking and becoming clammy. I don't believe it. That can't be me. She started thinking about the happy memories that she had of her adoptive mother. I can't believe my whole life was a lie! The person I believed to be my mom is not! She thought to herself, her eyebrows creasing in disbelief. Her eyes flitted toward her mother's face. Ana's mother had a bright smile, treating this day as a happy memory, one she would never forget. *I am happy that she is finally home. It was a long-awaited journey, one that we never expected, especially after the fire.* Scrunching her eyebrows, Ana observed the picture. She wanted to see if what her mother was saying was true. Once she saw the baby in the picture, her jaw dropped in shock. As she continued to observe the photo, Ana's heart skipped a bea
As they stepped into the portal, Isabella felt an enigmatic pull. It was an invisible force which urged her to continue on their journey of self-discovery. She desperately clung to Alexander for answers, since everything she was feeling was new for her. "Alexander, are you feeling the same way that I am?" she asked hopeful that she was not alone. Alexander gently grabbed her hand, trying to calm her beating heart. He desperately wanted to find a way to ease her anxiety. "Can you describe it to me? I want to know what you're feeling," Alexander pleaded. Every time her heart beat rapidly, his did too. The mate bond was calling them to choose each other once again. Despite the unimaginable ways he had hurt her, Isabella's heart clenched whenever they were near. Knowing he would always be there for her, she explained what she was feeling as they traveled through the portal. "It feels as though everything in my body is beginning to break, urging the magic to flow freely
Still stuck with Alexander in the Sanctum, Isabella started to become agitated. She did not know what to do next. Desperately, she tried to search for a way out, but without hope, she gave up. Upon seeing her strength of heart defeated, Alexander was ecstatic. He smiled wide, and the room started to fill up with dense fog that began to swirl. His power emulated off of him in dark waves that would not stop appearing. It started surrounding Isabella and choking her to the point where her breaths started to become ragged. The longer the tendrils of the fog were wrapped around her neck, her eyes began to look like they were going to pop right out of their socket. The air started growing colder and thicker, her heart started pounding fast as if it would run right out of her chest. As she felt her hands become clammy and sweaty, Isabella wiped them on her outfit. She tried to remove the sweat from her hands. Gaining the remaining strength that she had left, Isabella took the courage and
