64. Office Visit

Two more months passed, and I was mostly healed.

I start working again. I have been taking care of the company for so long that not being able to work was driving me insane. I attended some meetings and then looked at the time. It was time to check on Delilah.

Delilah told me to stop being extra clingy just because she is pregnant, but I don't care. I loved her so much, and I wished she would be next to me at all times. I offered her a job at the company so we could be close to each other, but she laughed at my face and called me crazy.

"What took you so long?" I roared after she picked up the phone.

"Sebastian, for fuck's sake. Stop being so controlling. I picked up after three rings!" she exclaimed on the other line.

I quickly changed my tune. I didn't want to piss her off so early in the afternoon. "I'm sorry, sweetheart. I just wanted to call and tell you I love you."

I heard her giggle on the other side. She couldn't stay mad at me, I smiled at the thought. She s
