After I stormed away from Simon as fast as possible, I rushed inside a clothing store. Who does he think he is?

He had been stalking me, annoying me for weeks, so it was safe to assume he was doing the same thing today. How was I supposed to know that he was actually trying to work?

What kind of work was he doing anyway?

I rage-bought a bunch of clothes, then barged inside my favorite coffee shop and ordered a large caramel latte to calm myself down, but it didn't work. I still felt like crying. I shouldn't let that jerk's words affect me, I thought. But then why are my eyes keep tearing up?

After a while, I figured out why I was so upset over it.

This was the first time Simon was mean to me. He was always teasing, flirting, and making stupid jokes no matter how many times I insulted him, so I wasn't used to him yelling at me. And to make matters worse, he didn't even come after me to apologize!
