Delilah

Sebastian stared at me as if he was trying to gather his thoughts.

"What did you just say?" His voice cracked.

"I am carrying your child, Sebastian. You got me pregnant because you wouldn't stop coming inside me, asshole," I barked.

He finally snapped out of it. "I'm going to be a father?"

"Yes."

"You have no idea how happy that makes me, my love," he said huskily and pulled me to his chest.

"Do you mean that?" I mumbled against his chest.

"Are you kidding me? Of course, I mean it. I love you so much. I want nothing more than for you to be the mother of my children, Delilah. I'm sorry about everything I put you through, and I'll do everything I can to make it up to you." His voice was thick with emotion.

"Good. Now let go of me because I need a shower," I got up and hurried to the bathroom. I am trying hard to act like I don't care about him, but I can't stop blushing. He still made me feel flustered.

"Are you happy?" he asked me, wondering.

I don't answer and walk away.

Sebastian Two more months passed, and I was mostly healed. I start working again. I have been taking care of the company for so long that not being able to work was driving me insane. I attended some meetings and then looked at the time. It was time to check on Delilah. Delilah told me to stop being extra clingy just because she is pregnant, but I don't care. I loved her so much, and I wished she would be next to me at all times. I offered her a job at the company so we could be close to each other, but she laughed at my face and called me crazy. "What took you so long?" I roared after she picked up the phone. "Sebastian, for fuck's sake. Stop being so controlling. I picked up after three rings!" she exclaimed on the other line. I quickly changed my tune. I didn't want to piss her off so early in the afternoon. "I'm sorry, sweetheart. I just wanted to call and tell you I love you." I heard her giggle on the other side. She couldn't stay mad at me, I smiled at the thought. She s

Delilah I fidgeted next to Sebastian. We woke up early and sat outside on the terrace to watch the sunrise and eat breakfast together. I was surprised when he suggested it right before we fell asleep. "I didn't realize you were such a romantic," I had said and smirked. Sebastian raised his eyebrows. "You're kidding, right?" "No I am serious. Sure, the Sebastian I met the first time was kind of sweet and romantic, but then I got to meet the jealous, possessive and controlling Sebastian. Also, the sex maniac Sebastian. None of those qualities scream romance to me," I said. Sebastian scowled. "I apologize for my behavior in the past. I promise not to act like that again. I swear on my unborn child." "I believe you." I smiled reassuringly. Sebastian put his hand on my belly. I have started to show as I am now 14 weeks pregnant. "My ultrasonogram is this Tuesday, don't forget," I reminded him. "I wouldn't dare forget." I felt pressure in my heart as he rubbed my belly and smiled

Simon I stopped bothering Olivia for a while. It's not that I didn't enjoy it anymore or took pity on her or anything. It was more like a mental vacation. Besides, she doesn't remember me anyway, and I'm starting to get tired of chasing her. I stopped contacting her or showing up at her usual hangout places for a week, so I could keep my head clear for work. I have some important business to attend to that requires my full attention. I got all his photography gear ready and prepared myself for the day. It was an easy task. At least easy for me. I walked around the area, pointing my camera and taking photo after photo. I finally got to settle down in one spot after a few hours. Good, I was starting to get tired of this endless walking. Finally, I found a grassy area and decided to lie down on my stomach. Then I pointed the camera at an old building. I looked through the lens and smiled as I found what I was looking for. "What are you doing?" Shit... Even when I try to get away

Olivia After I stormed away from Simon as fast as possible, I rushed inside a clothing store. Who does he think he is? He had been stalking me, annoying me for weeks, so it was safe to assume he was doing the same thing today. How was I supposed to know that he was actually trying to work? What kind of work was he doing anyway? I rage-bought a bunch of clothes, then barged inside my favorite coffee shop and ordered a large caramel latte to calm myself down, but it didn't work. I still felt like crying. I shouldn't let that jerk's words affect me, I thought. But then why are my eyes keep tearing up? After a while, I figured out why I was so upset over it. This was the first time Simon was mean to me. He was always teasing, flirting, and making stupid jokes no matter how many times I insulted him, so I wasn't used to him yelling at me. And to make matters worse, he didn't even come after me to apologize! Whatever, I don't care. I don't care about him! I lost Sebastian to another

Sebastian "We are having a baby," I announced and put my arm around Delilah's shoulder. Her dad nearly spat out his drink and then grinned. "Oh, amazing, congratulations!" he chirped. He came closer and hugged us both. Delilah blushed. "Thanks, dad. We are very excited." I smiled too. Seeing how happy the news made her father made me feel good. I felt Delilah's hand on mine. I looked at her glowing face, and my heart twitched. I was about to have a child with this beautiful woman. After dinner, I look at Delilah. "Ready to go home, my love?" I asked and ran my fingers through her hair. Delilah nodded. Her eyes are sleepy. She must be exhausted, I thought. "I'm sorry we can't stay long, sir," I tell her father on our way out. "Oh, no worries. I'm sure Delilah needs her rest." "What about your uncle? Shouldn't we tell him too?" Delilah asked me once we arrived home. My face turned dark. My uncle didn't approve of this marriage from the beginning, so I don't anticipate him be

Simon The confusion in Olivia's eyes makes me laugh. So she really doesn't remember meeting me when we were kids, huh? Maybe it's almost time to remind her of everything. "I barely know you, Simon," Olivia snaps at me. "Right, let's get you something to drink, grumpy," I coo and turn to face the bartender. "I AM NOT GRUMPY!" she cried. Sylvia finally speaks. "Why are you guys bickering like old married couples? Are you sure you aren't dating?" "Hell no!" Olivia snarled. "Good, because I invited someone else for you," Sylvia said. I look at her and narrow my eyes. "Someone else for who?" "For Olivia, obviously. To help her mend her broken heart caused by Sebastian. Sorry I didn't warn you about this, Olivia, but it's okay if Tony joins us, right?" Tony...he sounds like a douchebag already. "That's okay. He will keep me away from this asshole," Olivia said, pointing at me. "Hey Tony! Come over here!" Sylvia called into the room, and a man about our age lazily walked toward u

Olivia "Okay." The word escapes from my lips with ease. As soon as I gazed into those twinkling eyes, I knew I couldn't refuse him. I looked at his muscular form and blushed. He leaned down and started to kiss me all over my body. Starting from my forehead, then my lips, my jaw, and my neck. I felt heat building up at the pit of my stomach as he took my breast in his mouth and suckled on my nipples. I expected him to ravage my body already, but he was taking his sweet time, savoring every inch of me. Ugh! This is starting to be too much. His soft, featherlike kisses were making my skin tingle. I ached between my legs. I wanted him to do something about it, anything to make this ache go away. "Touch me, Simon," I crooned and touched his cheek. "I am touching you," Simon smirked. "You know what I mean!" I complained. Simon feigned confusion. "Actually, I have no idea what you mean. Care to elaborate?" "Simon!" Simon laughed, making my heart race again. Simon leaned down and lightly bit my breast. "I have to go," I squirmed against him. "No, stay. I know you have nothing else to do. Stay in bed with me. I'll make you breakfast," Simon crooned and nuzzled my neck. "This was a mistake," I pushed him off and rolled off the bed. "What are you talking about, Olivia? This was no mistake. We shared a tender moment together. We had sex because you wanted to. Sure, you don't have to love me now, but I thought things would change between us now and you'd give me a chance to be with you," he said. I could tell I hurt his feelings, it was apparent in his voice. "I...well...I'm sorry I led you on. I j

Alaric is sitting on the chair with his face and body swollen, but he appears to be breathing. "I see you survived the wasps," I comment. "Fuck you," Alaric mumbles. "I came here to give you good news and bad news," I say. He looks at me with confusion. "What?" "The good news is that Emma and I are getting married, and Sam will officially become my son," I say. "Samuel is my son," Alaric barks. "Not anymore, he isn't. You will be waiving all rights as his biological dad," I say, putting the adoption paper on his lap. Alaric glares at me as he looks at the adoption paper. He doesn't say anything for a few moments. I watch as his expression turns angrier. "I don't want to give up my rights," he says. I'm sure he is covered in his own piss and starving. The thought gives me comfort. "How was life in darkness, Alaric? It's not fun, is it?" I ask after taking the tape off of his mouth. There is no window down there, so Alaric wouldn't have known the difference between day and night. "Fuck you, asshole! What the fuck is wrong with you, man?" Alaric barks. "I couldn't begin to tell you. Are you ready to confess yet?" I laugh. "Confess what? I didn't do anything!" Alaric shouts. "Ah, so we are still playing the game. Say, Alaric, are you hungry?" I'll take care of Alaric," I say with gritted teeth. Sebastian narrows his eyes. "Emma is my sister. I shouldn't put this all on you." I shake my head. "You don't understand, Sebastian. I'm taking this personally because I love Emma. She broke down in front of me and told me everything. I could see the pain in her eyes, and it broke me. Jonathan I feel anger surging through me, but I keep calm for Emma's sake. I need to keep my head clear so I can think of a plan to find that bastard Alaric. And when I do, I will rip both of his arms off. "What happened to him?" I had asked her, and she shook her head. "I don't know. He broke up with my mom after I got pregnant. Maybe he got scared," Emma told me. "And your mom? Did you ever tell her any of this?" I ask. Emma looks down at her hand. "I tried once, but she got mad and beat me. She said I was just making up lies to hide the fact that I got pregnant by some loser." I take a deep breath and try to push down the rage that's boiling inside me. Emma has been through enough already, and I need to stay focused on helping her. I gently put my hand on her shoulder and give her a reassuring squeeze. "Listen, Emma. You did nothing wrong. I trace my fingers over his chest, feeling the rise and fall of his breathing under my touch. It is a comforting rhythm. Why am I like this? Everything was perfect last night, he did everything right. He didn't push me into anything and showered me with warmth. And yet, I had my stupid panic attack and messed everything up. I touch his lips softly, careful not to wake him up. I can't believe I let my past get the best of me. I ruined the moment even though I wanted him to make love to me. I have to make things right, I think to myself, then climb on top of him to kiss him all over his body. And now he is awake, staring at me with those blue eyes, making me feel even more guilty about rejecting him last night. "Emma. You don't ha

It's like nothing I've ever worn before, and I can't help but feel a bit nervous. Will I be able to pull it off? I take a deep breath and step out of the bathroom and into the dressing room.
