Chapter 5

Mason P.O.V.

Caleb and I reached railway station and we started searching for Natalie as I have not seen her so was not sure for whom to look for. I was looking here and there when a sight got my breath hitched, a beautiful girl of small petite as well as height. If compared to me, then yes she was very short, well coming back to her appearance, a girl with gorgeous hazel eyes decked up beautifully in a bridal gown, light diamond jewelry and her lips, those luscious lips painted in light shade of red. She was just not any girl, but the one who has haunted me in my dreams for past three years. Even though she look nothing like her previous self, I still recognized her. How could I not, this face was imprinted in my memory forever.

She looked like a scared kitten lost in a world of lions, but suddenly her eyes started twinkling and I shifted my gaze to look at the balloons which made her smile, immediately her smile made me smile too. She is moving towards the balloon vendor but suddenly a kid pushed her and she lost her balance almost falling down but I hurrieldly caught her hand and hold on to her. My breath stuck once more when those hazel eyes look into my brown orbs, I couldn't myself from looking at her.

She looked shocked at the sudden push, but seems relaxed when she knew she was safe, and then she made a mistake of looking in the eyes of her savior. That eye contact was somethng I don't know I have craved for so long. Finally she saw me, finally she looked at me. She was looking at me without blinking and who am I to complain, when I am doing the exact same thing. Man, can't ever get enough of these eyes.

Both of us were so lost in each other's eyes, when sudden announcement brought us out them from whatever trance we were in, Unwillingly I left her, well this is Awkwatd. I rubbed the nape of my neck in order to speak something when I spotted Caleb looking here and there for Nancy's friend.

Mason- Hey Caleb did you find her?

The second his name came out of my mouth,  I saw her ears perked up on that name and she immediately looked in the direction I was looking at, her lips curling into a teary smile. I furrowed my brows.

Natalie- Caleb

Caleb turned towards her immediately and eyed her from head to toe, I could see my best friend taking a sigh of releif, he smiled towards her which led led running in his embrace and he hug her protectively making me a little jealous, wait what? why the hell am I being so bothered about her. I hardly know her. So this is Natalie, Nancy's friend. Never knew will see her again like this. 

I again looked at her noticing her bridal gown and I guess Caleb did same because next second he was looking at me confused. I shrugged my shoulders, how would I know, why she looks like that. Is she married? I felt pain in my chest, why the hell is this bothering me so much. We decided not to ask any questions right now and first take her home, I went to take out the car from parking, being just happy about the fact that this pretty stranger is some one I wanted to see for years.

Natalie's P.O.V.

I hugged Caleb knowing I was in safe hands now. This is first time I met him, but he made me feel at ease. Caleb moved to the people with whom I came and thank them with whole heart for taking care of his sister, My heart felt a bit happy when Caleb mentioned me as his Sister, I felt safe with him...

We came out of the railway station and drove off. I was happily shocked to see the same stranger in the car who saved me from falling down. Boy was he handsome. I have never checked out any man before but I couldn't stop myself from shamelessly taking a peek at him every now and then. I  was too happy enjoying this freedom, looking outside the window, the people, the buildings even the traffic is fascinating to me. 

What seems like a forever, finally the car came to an halt. I glanced out of the window and there is a beautiful house that is neither too huge nor too small but indeed very gorgeous. Caleb opened the door for me. I smiled a bit and hurriedly came out. We started walking towards the gate and don't know why I feel nervous, it's Nancy my best friend but still I am nervous and maybe a Little bit of afraid on facing her, I don't want to be judged by her, I don't want her to feel pity for me..

Instead I am just in need of love, assurance that I will be safe here. I have no idea what would be going on back at that monster house, they all would be furious maybe more than that, of course they have to be, their plan backfired so bad. I want to laugh on all of them, but I can't deep down somewhere I know they will find me again and I hate this fact, I totally do...

My thoughts got a break , when the gate opened and there stood my Nancy, my soul sister. She looked at me with teary eyes and  that's it I couldn't stand more, I hugged her immediately crying my heart out. I was crying bitterly, I know all the person present in this room were trying to calm me down, but I couldn't. After two years, two damn years I have felt a similar warmth, a soothing touch and a genuine concern, I need to vent it out, all the pain I had carried within myself I need to take it out.
