After having a maid take all the stuff we brought back with us upstairs to Leilani, I rode my motorcycle to the store once more. Returning with a bedding set that matched her eyes, I had it sent up as well. Finding Tate, along with Brook in his office, I didn’t bother knocking.
If the door had been closed, I would have undeniably knocked. I had discovered the hard way not to enter a room they were in if the door was closed. Let’s just say there are some things in this world I never wanted to see.
“I was about to send a search party to go look for you.” Tate snickered when I plopped down on the sofa.
“Yeah, sorry it took so long.” I groaned as I rubbed my hand over my face.
Unexpectedly, I felt completely depleted. It was like the past twenty-four hours just hit me. I was both physically and mentally drained right now. On the plus side, I was also humming with exhilaration, from having a mate.

Leilani-Feeling utterly embarrassed, I stomped out of the room. If he thought that what I had done was so funny, then he can laugh about it alone.
