Chapter 116

CLAIRE's POV

The whole woods went quiet and everywhere was still. No one moved, as everyone’s eyes were fixed on me intently. They were all in a state of shock.

They were not the only ones that were left in awe. I was dumbfounded. What had just happened? I kept my gaze fixed on Tana who was laying on the floor, her body not moving an inch.

I tried to recall what had happened. I screamed at her, and the force sent her flying away from me. But how? I could only remember feeling this build up in my chest, and then it exploded.

It sort of felt like a cup that had overflown and the contents spilled over. I pushed myself up into a sitting position and raised my hands up to my face. They were trembling, and so was my entire body.
