Chapter 117

CLAIRE's POV

The air seemed to shift and become still. There was a menacing aura all around the air, I could feel it. And there was only one person that could cause this phenomenon.

Dominik.

He stood at the door, glaring at me like I had done something wrong. What had I done to warrant his presence in my room? And then it clicked. I had shown my powers, powers that he specifically told me to hide.

I swallowed and shot up from the bed. Aurora was trembling beside me as her eyes remained fixed on Dominik. Dominik marched up to me, and it felt like my heart was going to stop beating.

“You are coming with me, now,” Dominik ordered.

Before I could ask why or protest, he grabbed my wrists and began to pull me with him. I looked back at Aurora and she was sitting on the bed, shaking like a wet kitten. I gave her a reassuring smile and Dominik pulled me out of the room.

As he pulled me along the hallway, his grip on my wrist tightened even more.

“D-Dominik, it hurts, please let go,” I pleaded

I was enjoying this book but there is a point we're being so abused and neglected are to much. Claire needs to walk away and teach him a lesson.
