Chapter One

                   Avyanna Elyse 

                    After 5 years 

"Avy, princess tomorrow's your 16th birthday, and we have to go back to the Philippines," my dad said while we're having our breakfast.

I sighed. "Daddy, do we have to? You know that I don't want to go back," I said while still eating, making me lose my appetite. 

"I know, I know you don't want to, but you have a duty to do, a duty that your mother left you," 

After dad mentioning that sentence again I grinned. 

"Right," I said and gave him a big fake smile. 

The country I left with messy memories, the country I didn't want to see anymore the country I ran away. 

"So dad, when we'll be leaving?" I said. Hoping that he would not answer tonight or today. 

"Tommorrow, do you also want me to choose a university for your 11th grade Av-," before he could finished what he said I stopped him. 

"NO! I-I mean no dad, let me," I said while stopping my hands from shaking. 

It's an total jinx dad that's what mommy said when she was alive.

Hands shaking, heart bursting, tearful eyes that being covered by my louis vuitton shades. 

I took a deep breath after entering the plane and sat on the window seat quietly, hoping that this flight would last for years, kung pwede lang. 

After the announcement I immediately took my air pods and played some music and closed my eyes. 

I hope this everything we'll be fine.

After my long nap my dad woke me up saying the most scariest word ever. 

"Avy, we're here," he said while patting my head. 

I just nodded and gave my dad a smile. 

"You know, princess we could just forget everything and leave," my dad said, while worrying. 

"And that would be too stubborn dad, t'saka ikaw mismo nag sabi sa'kin nito kahapon," I said while smiling. 

"Yes I know but nakita kitang ganyan nag iba na isip ko, and you know the rules Avy, that boy doesn't know that we're helping them and must learn to love you, it's like throwing our own rock, and let them hit two birds at one stone, let's go bac-," he said, while worrying. 

"Dad, no, I'm gonna be alright, it's alright, can manage I can endure it all, for mom," I said while holding my dads hands. 

Surprisingly dad hugged me tight and kissed me in the forehead. 

"Manang mana ka talaga sa mommy mo, kaya mong ibigay lahat, kahit alam mong ma u-ubos ka, basta kung hindi mo na kaya, call me then daddy will pick you, alright?" he said while slowly patting my head. 

After that I nod and started walking while letting my men pull my baggages. 

Makikita ko na naman siya. 

Rigel.

"They're waiting for us Avy," Dad said, while looking at the window. 

I sighed. "Yes, Dad," 

"Welcome home!" everybody shouted while forming a line and holding a banner specially Xali and Rhex , my bestfriends. 

I don't know why but my eyes was itchy and looked around looking for one person. 

"Ah! Si Kuya Rigel ba hanap mo? May lakad daw eh, hayaan mo yon Avy," Xali said. 

"I never said that I was looking for him," I said. 

"Sos! Kunware ka pa," she said and grabbed me inside. 

"Woy! gago Xali, maski hi nga di ko pa na sabi tapos kukunin mo na si Avy! ampocha, damot oy!" Rhex shouted.

"Gago ka Avy! Bat di mo sinabi sakin na ba-bankrupt na kayo? Tapos maba-balitaan ko nalang na ikakasal ka kay kuya para maligtas lang company nyo! Kung sinabi mo sana't tutulungan pa sana kita!" she said while hitting me slowly. 

The news she said right now is a big hoax, if it was real I would really go to Xali and ask for help, I don't know how she did it but she barely made her own company humongos and now the worlds third largest company, at the age of 17. 

What should you you expect, matalino eh, nasa bloodline na ata nila. 

And what I said was correct, the news she heard is a big hoax, the truth is sila na ang na ba-bankrupt and only their dad knew, that's according to the plan. 

"Sorry, if I didn't told you Xali," I said while looking down. 

"Okay lang yan, andyan na yan eh, wag kang mag alala, payag naman si Kuya pakasalan ka eh," she said cheerfully. 

"Oh, kelan ba daw ang kasal? san?" she asked while eating. 

"Two days from my birthday, sa japan lang," I answered. 

"Ohh, malapit na, ilang araw nalang," she said while nodding. 

I don't know how time could be so fast, and today's my birtday, oo agad agad at isang araw nalang ang li-lipas ika-kasal nako. 

"Happy 16th birthday Avyanna Elyse!" everyone shouted while holding 16 cakes. 

I don't know why but since we arrived here I never saw Rigel, not even hes shadow.

                       2 days past 

"Gosh! Bat ang kaunti lang ng tao, tapos family lang ang meron, kasal ba talaga to! Dapat buong mundo makaka alam para ship nila kayo, bwesit," I heard Xali hissed while standing at the aisle. 

"The groom demands to keep this marriage a secret, what you see and hear here is forbidden to be known outside," the judge said.

After exchanging vows and rings my heart skipped a beat when the judge announced that you may kissed the bride everyone screamed in excitement. 

Rigel slowly removed my bello and held my nape and slowly making his face closer.. I quickly closed my eyes, getting ready to be kissed. 

"Let's do this when no one's around," he whispered. 

I immediately opened my eyes in shock. 

"Huh? Ahh," I said and just nodded. I don't know but I strangely felt excited. 

"We'll do this later," he said to the judge and made the judge laugh. 

Manyakol ata yong judge? Anong iniisip niya?

"Whaaaatttt!!!" I screamed like it was the last day of earth when I saw the place we are living. 

"You're tita Rose suggested this, if a couple lives in a place like other average people the relationship gets solid as rock," Daddy said while pointing out a an ugly house, it's a rental house for exact. 

"Dad no! Heck no! Not even a day! I can't live here! No wa-," after I finished what I said Rigel took the keys with both of his hands and held my hand. 

"We appreciate your generosity, Dad thank you for giving us a place to stay, not all people can have one right Avyanna?" Rigel said while making the last to words longer and squeezing my hand. 

Gosh does he have a plan? I'm excited! 

"Ahh, yes dad," because I have a feeling that Rigel has a plan I just agreed with him. 

"Oh, that's good, now bukas punmunta kayo sa banko at andoon ang secretary ko, eto ang pera ninyo Avy," Rigel's dad or Dad said while lending me a white envelope. 

I just nodded and smiled at them, while noticing my dad being tearful. I just held his and and kissed him on the cheek. 

"It'll be alright Daddy, trust me,"I whispered at him giving a small smile. 

"Alright then, we'll be going now," my Dad announced. 

"Ma'am, Avy! Mag ingat po kayo parati!" all my maids and driver's and bodyguards said. 

"What are you guys saying? You guys are living with us," I said. 

"No Avy, from now on you'll be the one cooking, cleaning and washing your clothes,"my dad said while going inside the car. 

"WHHHAATTT!! I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO COOK RICE!!!!" I shouted but instead my maids bodyguards hop on the cars one by one and left. 

"NOOOO!! HINDI KO KAYA!!" I shouted and chasing the cars. 

"Avyanna," Rigel stopped me and pulled me in. 

"DAAADDDDDDYYY!!" I shouted while being pulled but Rigel was fast and covered my mouth. 

"Tumahimik ka nga, baka isipin nila na kinidnap kita," he said while continues to pull me inside. 

"Ang liit naman!" I said when I saw the size of it. 

"Tumahimik ka, kung anong meron makontento ka," he said and now pushing me inside the house. 

Ano to push and pull?! 

"Sige, ihubad mo na," he said while pointing at me. 

"Huh? Ahh, sige," I immediately unbottoned my polo blouse and was about to take it out when Rigel stopped me. 

"What are you doing?" He asked. 

"Huh? You said that I take it off, I'm doing it right now," I said while holding my polo blouse. 

"Stupid, yong sapatos mo, hubadin mo," he said while shaking his head in disbelief. 

"Ahhh," I shly rebottoned my blouse and took off my shoes. 

"Do we sleep in the same room Rigel?" I ask with a sweet smile. 

"No,this house contains two rooms, one for you and one for me, the other one is supposed to be the guest room for our parents, minsan pupunta daw sila dito kaya wag kang gagawa ng kung ano ano kung andito sila," He explained then immediately shut the door on his room. 

"WHHHATT?! BUT DAD SAID THAT WE'LL BE SLEEPING IN ONE ROOM!" I shouted out of disappointment. 

But a light blew over my mind and quickly knocked the door. 

"Oy! Oy! Rigel!" I shouted and saw him opened the door with furious eyebrows. 

"What now?" 

"What about you said earlier? That we'll be doing the thing?" I said while titling my head. 

"Ohh, that, halika halika," he said while gesturing his fingers on me. 

I immediately tiptoed to come near him, sa subrang lapit ay halos maramdaman ko ang hininga niya. 

"Asa ka, di palibhasa'y kinasal tayo hahalikan kita, and don't you ever tell anyone about our marriage, understood?" he said and quickly slammed the door. 

"Edi waw," I hissed and sat on a wooden chair. 

How on earth would I stay alive on this house without my maids? 

"Kaya ko ba to?" I whispered at myself while looking at the entire house. 

Small, dusty, dirty, yucky, gosh 

Because it's past 8pm my tummy growl, I didn't ate anything, nor a single pea. 

"May food ba dito?" I said while looking some food. 

"Malas," I hissed when I saw nothing. 

"Graduating, Senior high Student, but still doesn't know how to cook, paano ka mabubuhay n'yan?" I heard Rigel's voice and saw him leaning on the wall. 

"Di naman tinuro sa school kung pano magluto," I said while still looking for food. 

"Di nga ba? Or di ka lang talaga nakikinig, alis diyan I'll cook," he said in disbelief.

"Simpling gulay lang to ah, wag mag arte," he said while cooking. 

"Fine, fine, whatever, basta makakain lang ako," I said while playing talking tom, since the signal here is very poor. 

"Kain lang naman importante sayo, matuto kang mag luto," he said while washing the veggies. 

"Ibigay mo sakin yong sibuyas at luya," he said while pointing at a bag full of veggies and stuff. 

"Okay,"I said and stood up. 

"Ano nga ulit yon?" i whispered to myself while holding three kinds. 

Because I was in a big circumstance I immediately opened my Google and started to type. 

'Sibuyas' and pressed search, but because the signal here is so poor not a single word came out. 

"Google pa nga, sige I google mo lang antayin kita ah," Rigel said and I can feel the sarcasm. 

"Mag se-senior na nalilito pa sa sibuyas at luya, ampocha," he whispered. 

"Oh? Bakit? When I asked you years ago which is the sibuyas did you answered?" I said in with an high furrowed eyebrows. 

"Touche," he said while shruging. 

                             **

After having our dinner Rigel said that he'd teach me how to wash the dishes, and it was really not that hard as I thought it would be.

"Sige, matulog kana maaga pa tayo bukas sa banko," he said while drying his hand on a towel.

"Eh? But Sunday is supposed to be my shopping day," I said while raising my eyebrows.

"Well, not anymore, geh," he immediately walked inside his room and closed it.

"Wow, goodnight hubby ah? Ang saya ng first night natin," I said and also closed the door.

I wonder what will happen tommorow.
