The property now belongs to me. There was no way in hell I would leave the property for them at all. I did a little scouting around the house as I scanned the place, ensuring everything was intact.

I took the stairs and did a little detour. After a couple of minutes, I headed back downstairs.

To my surprise, Cynthia was still standing there with her friends.

I thought, after the humiliation, that she would storm off with her friends in embarrassment. But why was she still here? What more did she want? I already showed her proof of ownership.

I descended the stairs carefully, reining in the turbulent thoughts and emotions swirling inside my mind.
