Then silence followed in fear that a man who was supposed to be long dead was standing right in front of everyone!

The silence that followed his statement felt deafening, almost suffocating. My heart hammered in my chest, and for a moment, I couldn’t breathe. My mind raced, trying to make sense of what I was hearing, but it didn’t make sense. How could he be standing here after all these years?
