Chapter 9

Violet's pov 

What did I even paint? What is this? I asked myself only. 

I am not understanding what it is. 

It is a kind of garden or what? 

I looked at Blossom to see that she was also looking at it with concentration. 

"Do you know what it is Blossom? I do not know what I painted." I asked her in a hope that maybe she knows 

She nodded her head in yes and I smiled brightly at her. She knows! Yay! 

"Tell me what it is!" I asked her but hit my head in the next moment for asking such a stupid question to her 

How will Blossom speak? She is a rabbit, stupid Violet! 

"I know where this place is Princess!" I heard a voice suddenly when I was busy scolding myself 

I turned around to see who it was but found none! 

I looked around my room but there was no one present who could talk. 

"Look down princess, it is me, Blossom , talking to you." Blossom said and I looked down 

"Hello princess! I am Blossom your pet and I can talk in your language as well," Blossom said and I gasped in shock 

"Can you talk? Oh my goodness! Father gave me a talking Rabbit?" I said happily 

"Calm down princess! Do not say it loudly. No one should know that I talk other wise they will take me away from here." she said and I frowned 

Why will they take her away if they know she can talk? Father himself gifted me her. 

"Why will anyone take you away Blossom?" I asked her 

"Because they think I am bad for you. They do not want us to stay together. Do not you know how your father is? He sent your brother away as well because he wanted to give you freedom. There is no monster out princess, trust me. It is safe to go out. You will not be killed. Your father lied to you." Blossom said and I got angry 

No one talks ill about my father! No one! I will not tolerate it. 

" Do not say anything ill about my father Blossom he never lied to me. Why will he lie to me? And why should I trust you over my father? "I asked her 

" I know princess you are thinking that I am lying but I am not. Prince Theodore wanted you to know everything that is the reason the king sent him. If you do not trust me then you can ask Prince he will not lie to you now will he? And about this place it is outside of the castle in the land of fairies. I can take you there if you want to go. And please ask the prince normally not to tell him about me, otherwise he will not tell the truth. "Blossom said and I felt the urge to ask Theo '' I know Father will never lie to me but why am I feeling like Blossom is telling the truth? And there is no harm in asking now is it? 

" I will talk to Theo! "I told her and I felt her smile at that 

" Talk to him now, only princess!" Blossom said and I used the spell which helps us to Contact each other 

" Hello Theo! I missed you! "I said as soon I saw him 

" Hello Violet, so the princess Finally got the time to miss me " Theo teased me as always 

" You did not try to talk either!" I told and found his face harden at that 

" I was busy! " is all he said 

" Leave that, see what I painted." I said and showed him that garden painting 

" Wow! You painted the garden of Avalonia! But how did you paint it? You never saw it or read about it as much as I know." He said and I knew it is the time to ask what I wanted to 

" I do not know, I just wanted to draw a beautiful place and this came to me. I wish I could visit this place, it is so beautiful! "I said and made my best sad face 

" Ask father, he will create this place as well for you. "He said with clenched jaw 

" I want to visit the real places. I do not like to stay here. Are there really monsters out there who will eat me alive? " I asked him but unintentionally few tears escaped my eyes 

I was actually feeling sad and wanted to know the truth. Who will want to stay caged in a place throughout their life? 

" Stop crying Violet, I do not like your tears 

Ask father if there is some monster or not." Theo said and I started crying hysterically 

I could not control anymore. 

"There is no monster Violet, father lied to you! You are caged by him in the castle because of his fear and insecurities." Theo said and I stared at him blankly still tears rolling down from my eyes silently 

I did not say anything I could not! Father lied to me? He caged me here just because of his fear? There is no monster out?

"Father is not wrong in his point of view but he is in ours. He wants the best for you but he ended up doing the worst to you. He even casted a spell on you so you will not understand anything that happens. You are innocent and naive already but father has increased it more. The pendant you wear has that spell. It kinds of shut your brain so you will not think too much about other things and behave like a child. "Theo said and I could not listen anymore. I cut it and sat on the floor only. 

My father lied to me; he even casted a spell on me to keep my curiosity at bay? What kind of sick joke is this? 

I was feeling betrayed and hurt. That will be an understatement. I was feeling like my whole existence Is a lie! I am not a person but just a puppet with whom anyone can play. 

My own father did this to me why? Just why? 

"I know why your father did this to you princess but before telling you everything you have to remove this magical pendant from your neck. It can again make your brain weak" Blossom said and I nodded 

Who knew that an animal will be my well wisher and my own father would be a betrayer. 

I looked at the pendant that my father made me wear on my neck when I was one year old though I do not remember but that is what they said. 

I never removed this pendant from my neck and maybe that is the reason I never behaved like a 16 years old should. Now I understand why I am still a kid where my other friends are grown up and behave in a different way. They try to hide it but i can see the difference 

Closing my eyes I removed the pendant with a heavy heart and as soon I did that I felt so many things that I could not handle and ended up fainting because of the power.
