Chapter 5

Past 

Author's pov 

The kingdom of Dune Is celebrating as the Queen of Dune is pregnant and going to give this kingdom an heir very soon. 

King is happy as well as he is going to be a father. 

"Today I am so happy that I can not even tell you" king Henry said 

"I know! I am also happy that we are going to be parents. But I am scared as well. We need to protect our baby from the evil eyes. You know right in how much danger he or she is in?" queen Isabella said 

"Do not worry my queen, I will protect our baby with my everything. He or she will be protected from everything. That is my promise." King Henry said 

Months passed and finally the day came when the heir was about to take birth and come into this immortal world. 

Everyone is tense as the condition of the queen is not good at all. 

King Henry is praying to the almighty for saving his wife and baby both. 

Soon enough the screams of the queen changed into the cries of two infants. Yes, two babies. 

The mid wife came out with two babies one wrapped in pink cloth another wrapped in blue cloth. 

The king is shocked as he knows his wife is pregnant with only one baby, not two. 

"Congratulations, Your Majesty, our Queen has given birth to two babies. One is a boy who is older one and another one is a girl." the mid wife said and the king became Too happy that in place of one he has two babies now… 

He is a father of two little creatures. 

"How is your queen?" King Henry asked and the mid wife became silent after hearing that 

Her expression dulled and she looked down. 

Her this action made King Henry really worried and all bad thoughts came to his mind. 

"I am asking you something, how is your queen?" King asked impatiently 

He knew Isabella's condition was not good at all but how will he survive if she leaves him? 

Isabella knew she might not survive because she is not an immortal. She is a mortal who has white magical powers. A mortal carrying immortal baby is itself signing like a death note but she did not care nor let Henry know about the same. 

Her babies have to survive at any cost along with her husband even if she dies. That is why she took a promise from the king beforehand that he will raise their baby with love and care no matter what ever happens to her. And he will take care of himself as well 

King was angry at her for saying this kind of absurd thing but had to give in to calm his hyper wife who was feeling out of breath at that moment. He did not want to harm her in any way. And he was sure nothing would happen to her. She will be fine as she has powers just like him. 

"I am sorry your Majesty, we could not save the queen. She is no more." as soon the words came out her mouth the king was broken beyond repair 

He could not understand what he just heard. How did that happen? How can his isabella die leaving him all alone? 

"No! This can't be real! She can not die no," King was crying and denying to accept that his wife is no more 

She has left him and their babies. 

"Henry please, calm down! You knew that she is a mortal and mortals die. I know it is hurting you but you have to accept the truth" Dylan Henry's father and the former king said and Henry glared at him 

"How can you say that father? How can I accept my wife's death?" Henry asked angrily 

"Because of them you have to. See the faces of your children. They are Isabella's children as well. You need to be strong for them." Dylan said and took the girl in his arms 

The baby curled in a ball as he touched her. 

"See Henry, your Isabella is alive in her. She is the younger version of Isabella. You have to be strong for her and your son both. They are the future of our kingdom" Dylan said and pat his son's back 

Henry stared at his babies face and found Isabella in them. 

The girl looked exactly like Isabella's child form. He fell in love with the little creations of their love. 

He kissed both of his children's forehead and that was it. 

That was the start of something that no one thought would end in a tragic way. 

That day the whole kingdom mourned for the late queen but rejoiced later for the new born members of the Royal family. 

It was hard For Henry to let his beloved wife go but he had to. 

He was proposed to marry an immortal princess but he denied it. For him it was impossible to accept anyone else in Isabella's place. 

After one month of Isabella's demise he named his both babies. 

He named his son Theodore Maxwell and daughter Violet Maxwell 

Both names were chosen by Isabella herself. 

Henry loves his both children very much no doubt but Violet is a bit special to him. She is the apple of everyone's eyes. 

The kingdom was coping up with the loss of their queen and so was the Royal family. 

Slowly and steadily everything was falling into place but on the first birthday of Violet and Theodore something happened that changed everything. 

Henry was worried after that. He has to do something to save his daughter. He knew she was in danger but this much grave danger he never imagined. 

Violet is special as she is the first born daughter in the Maxwell bloodline that too a hybrid. Her mother is a mortal witch who has white magic powers and father is a vampire. 

Theodore is a Hybrid as well but his life is not in danger because he does not have what his sister Violet holds. 

Henry knew one thing: he would die but let anything happen to his Violet. He has lost Isabella but he will not lose Violet at any cost . 

Violet was ordered to stay in the castle only. Everything she will need will be brought or created in the castle itself. She will get everything she wishes for except her freedom.

She should never cross the Gate of the castle. But inside the castle she was free to roam around. 

In short from the age of 1 Violet was caged in the castle by her own father for her own safety. 

As Violet grew up she wanted to go out just like her brother and others but was not allowed to. Whatever she wished was presented in front of her but she could not step out. 

She asked many times why she should not go out? In response she got the stories of monsters who are waiting to harm her as she is the princess. 

Those monsters are only behind her to harm her and little Violet will get so scared she will not even think about going out. 

Like this only 16 years passed away Violet being caged in the castle. Not for once Henry let her feel that she has no mother. Henry was always with his daughter and so was her brother Theodore. They have raised her with all the love and care they could muster. Theodore is the Same age of Violet but knows everything that Violet does not and is helping his father to save his sister. 

Violet has friends, clothes, jewellery, toys, accessories, books everything one can imagine to have, whatever she wishes it comes for her instantly. She has turned into a beautiful teenager who is innocent and pure, her beauty is extraordinary. She is like a Freshly bloomed Rose, Beautiful and Fragile. Her heart is filled with kindness and love. 

King Henry did a great job of securing his daughter by caging her in the castle but as we say what is destined will take place no matter how much we try to stop it. 

Violet's destiny was something else, only something dark and cruel. She is the symbol of light but as well know a candle or any source of light has to burn first to lighten the dark area. 

To lighten up the world she has to burn first it is her destiny and destiny can not be changed. 

Till now Violet's life is filled with happiness and love but soon everything is going to change and that day is near. 

Violet's 16th birthday is coming and she is very much excited for it because her brother promised her to give her training of sword fighting after she turns 16. 

Though Violet hates violence but she is drowned towards the art of sword fighting. 

She knows she will never need it but still she wants to learn. 

Only if she knew what exactly she will need in future.
