Chapter 11

Violet's pov 

"Father, can I ask something from you?" I asked my father who is focused on eating food 

"Yes my heart says, what do you want?" he asked immediately and I wanted to ask him badly, ``How can he be so good at acting? Just how? 

Does not his heart hurt for once? Does he not feel guilty for doing this to me for once? I am his own blood, his daughter am I not? 

Then why does he hate me for something I never did. I did not ask for those powers or whatever they are, did I? 

I was born with them and it was not my fault. My heart also hurts for my mother. I never saw her or got the chance to meet her. I never got a chance to get raised as any other girl heck not even got the chance to grow up as a normal girl. How can he be so cruel? 

" Penny for your thoughts my star." He said and his voice made me come out of the thoughts I was having 

"I am sorry father I got lost in thoughts, I want Margaret to not sleep with me from now on. I have read that big girls like me sleep alone and I want to sleep alone. I will not get scared I promise," I told him using my most innocent face which I used to think that it makes him melt away immediately 

" But why my Star? Margaret has stayed with you always. Why suddenly change it? "He asked me with fake concern in his eyes 

Like he is really worried about me! Everything is a drama, a facade, nothing else. 

" I want to be a big girl! If I get scared I will call Margaret immediately. I promise you that." I pleaded 

" Fine, anything for you my star." He said and patted my head in a loving way 

"Now finish your food before it gets cold," he said and I started eating as well 

"Father, I want to learn sword fighting and you will recruit the best soldier to train me." I said after eating a few bites 

"No!" was his reply 

"YES," I said 

"My birthday is coming soon. I will turn 17 and you have to give me this or let me go out and see the outside world. Choice is yours!" I said adamantly 

"You are being demanding now and my princess is not demanding at all." He said 

"I want my gifts! I don't know!" I said with a huff like a kid will do 

"Fine I will ask the best soldier to train you but if you get hurt you will stop it." He agreed but with a condition but i am prepared for this as well 

"Father, I am a princess and a princess should never be afraid of anything, even of getting hurt. If I am scared of getting hurt then how am I a brave princess?" I asked him and laughed mentally on myself only 

What kind of nonsense I used to say! 

" But I do not wish you to get hurt! I love you, "he said with a soft smile on his face making my heart clench in pain 

Lier! His love is a lie nothing else! Everything is fake. 

" Do you not love Theo? "I asked him tilting my head slightly and I know that I got him here 

The silence from his side is confirming my assumption. 

" I do love him but he has been trained from so long and you are new in this." he tried to explain 

Whom is he trying to fool here anyways? Me? Oh yes it is indeed me. His every logic is illogical. 

"Everything is new until you do it for the first time and once you start doing them regularly they become your habits." I told him and saw his eyes widened for a second and a small smile making its appearance on his lips 

"You just said what your mother used to say. Indeed you are her daughter, I will make you train." He said with a smile and I nodded with a smile 

Am I really like my mother? If it's true then I'm really happy. I love you mother but I hope you would have been here with me then your daughter would not have to suffer so much. I miss you very much! 

I went back to my room and a sense of new emotions hit me hard. These are too much to handle but I handled them well. 

Laying in the middle of the huge bed I sighed. I need to get out of this place soon and see the outside world. 

I need to taste the freedom that he made forbidden to me. 

I do not know why but i am feeling like going out now only. The night is so calm and serene and the full moon is making it more beautiful than it is already. 

"Want to visit the Land of Avalonia princess?" I heard Blossom's voice suddenly 

"No, it is risky." I rejected her offer which was way too much tempting to reject but I had to do that 

"You can teleport yourself in a blink of an eye just imagine yourself being at the place and you will be there the next moment. It is a part of powers. Try it out princess!" Blossom said and the way she said it tempted me to try it 

You can not blame a 16 year old for becoming excited before exploring the outside world for the first time in her whole life now can you? 

I closed my eyes and imagined that place which I painted Avalonia, the land of fairies… 

When I opened my eyes I was there only standing at the exact point where I wished to come. 

"Oh my God Blossom I did it! I came here!" I said while jumping in excitement but got no response from Blossom 

I tried to find her around me but she is not anywhere. Did I lose her or I did not teleport her? 

Now what will I do? I came here at this hour alone without Blossom who could guide me through this. What kind of stupidity did I do? 

I looked around to find everything calm as it is night time. There is absolutely no one present here! 

I walked a bit to see so many beautiful flowers. Few flowers are glowing under the moonlight. It is so divine. I am amazed by this to be honest. I have seen things like this before as well but they are not marvellous like the original ones. I am in awe! 

I touched one flower and their silky texture felt way too good against my finger! 

I smelt it and it has such a sweet smell that can make you smile in happiness. It is so good! I am fond of nature very much. I love to visit flower gardens. I have seen many flowers but these ones are different in a good way. 

I was roaming around the place when suddenly a loud growl caught my attention, making me turn around to face a giant wolf growling angrily looking at me..
