Chapter 31

Avery's room was neatly kept and organized.

This was his first time stepping into Avery’s room since she moved into his home.

Every item in the room was the same way she left them. Her feminine scent filled the air, and Abel felt a sense of calmness within him.

A gentle knock came at the door. Elijah opened the door and stepped in.

“Master, I thought this day would never come”

“What do you mean, Elijah?”

“When Madam left three months ago, she handed out this key to me. She told me to give them to you whenever you come in here.”

“Did madam say that? Why would she say so?”

“Master, young madam loves you so much. Before she went to prison, she spent a lot of time preparing your dishes. But you never get to eat any of her tasty foods. She was the one who washed and ironed your clothes”

“How can that be? Didn’t I send you to the dry cleaners to do the laundry?”

“Young Madam never accepts that. She said that some of the dry cleaners can’t wash clothes properly. She does the laundry herself
