Chapter 39

Edward was practically rolling and wailing on the floor. His body was in terrible pain.

Had he known that Avery was involved with Abel, he wouldn't have neared her let alone hurt her in any way. Abel was a notorious monster who could kill at any slight provocative.

Avery’s eyes filled with tears as she watched Abel beat Edward mercilessly. After Abel incapacitated Edward, he came to Avery and hugged her.

“Are you okay?” he asked.

Avery could only nod her head. She was surprised to see him there. Abel quickly untied her hands and legs. He carried her out of the place, and gently put her in his car.

“I will take her to the hospital, get rid of that man,” he told Jason and drove Avery to the hospital.

Immediately they got to the hospital, Avery fainted and was rushed into a private ward. The doctors start the treatment quickly.

Without wasting time, Avery was revived. She was sleeping when the doctor came out to meet Abel.
