Prologue

"Is there any other way to know where my mate is?" Misha asked.

"I am very sorry, Misha. You know how much we tried to find your mate pero wala talaga, e. I think it's time... It is now time for you to give up," Her friend, Fiery, said.

"You're... you're telling me to give up? Ganoon na ba talaga kawalang pag-asa, Fiery?" Misha asked her with a broken voice. She was so close to crying.

"It's been 200 years already, Misha. Ganoon na katagal natin hinahanap kung sino ang posibleng mate mo, but we always fail. Give it a rest, Misha. Ako na 'yong nasasaktan para sa 'yo, e," Fiery told her. She was also close to crying but she did her best to act tough in front of her best friend, Misha.

Of course, what would a real friend want? She just wanted to give Misha her peace. Kasi sa tuwing nakikita niya ang dismayadong mukha ni Misha araw-araw ay nasasaktan din siya.

Hindi na niya kayang makita ang kaibigan sa ganoong sitwasyon.

"Go away, Fiery. Give me space."

Misha was then left alone inside her room. She cried for how many hours before she collected herself.

She went outside and found an old lady sitting in the corner while watching her.

"Prinsesa," Ani ng matanda.

"I saw you staring at me. May kailangan po ba kayo?" Misha asked carefully.

"Alam ko ang dinadala mo ngayon," Sabi ng matanda. Misha turned away her gaze. Naramdaman na naman niya ang sama ng loob. Ngunit bigla siyang napatingin ulit sa matanda nang marinig niya ang sinabi nito.

"I'm sorry?" Misha said. Of course, everyone in their kingdom knew about her problem and everyone was judging her for it.

"May alam akong paraan, hija. Maaaring mabago ang buhay mo dahil dito," Sabi naman ng matanda.

Noong una ay nagdadalawang isip pa si Misha kung pakikinggan niya ang matanda o hindi dahil baka niloloko lamang siya nito.

Paano ba naman, e, halos lahat ng paraan ay nasubukan na yata nila ngunit kailanman ay hindi sila nagtagumpay. Ngunit naisip din ni Misha na wala namang mawawala kung pakikinggan niya ang matanda.

"Ano po 'yon, manang?" Misha asked.

The old lady smiled at may kinuha siyang libro mula sa luma nitong bag. She handed the book to Misha.

When Misha read the title of the book, her eyes widened. "Stellar World."

"How come may ganito ka pong libro? Even I, cannot access this book because this is forbidden!" Misha said out of surprise.

The old lady just laughed a little and ignored her question. "That book may be the key to your problems. You will never know unless you will try, right?"

"B-But I might get punished because of this," Sabi naman ni Misha sa kanya.

"No one will know. It is just between you and me," The old lady answered.

Misha stared at the book and she sighed heavily. Kauusapin na niya sana ang matanda ngunit bigla itong naglaho. Wala ng nagawa si Misha kundi ang itago ang libro bago pa may ibang makakita roon.

She started walking back to the palace and while walking ay napaisip na siya.

Is the book worth the risk?

After some time of thinking, she made up her mind. Susubukan niya.

What awaits her the moment she opens the book?

Will it go well or will it give birth to another problem?
