Broken promises

Harper angrily threw the file on the wall which had no data for Sophia and her parents. It seemed as if they disappeared from the world.

Guilt kept building in his heart. He knew he was going to lose Sophia if he took his revenge but he pushed all the thoughts in the back of his head but now he regretted it.

He got up from the seat and went to the big glass as he stared outside in the distance. Suddenly his eyes fell on the people on a platform that were cleaning the windows.

For a second, he could not believe his eyes seeing Sophia doing this kind of work. He went to other side of the room that now he was standing in front of her who was spraying the liquid on the window. Now standing this close, he could see all the effects on her that he left in those past months.

"Sophia..."

Gavin called Sophia who turned her head to look at him.

"Let's go for dinner together tonight."

He asked her who pressed her lips together.

"It will be my treat."
