Bride of Vampire lord

Star yawned and stretched her body. She opened her eyes and looked around as her eyes fell on Xavier who was working out in a corner where few equipments were placed for this purpose.

"I don't know who is more miserable among us." 

Xavier stopped running and turned off the machine. He came down and looked at her.

"Of course it's you."

Star lazily rolled her eyes and sat up. Xavier didn't have much to do in this room. Either he will watch movies or work out.

"This chain." She pointed towards the black coloured chain which was connected to the coller in his neck.

"I sincerely wish that one day you become free of it."

Xavier looked at her who has an innocent smile. For a second, he felt something inside him but he quickly shook his head.

"This is not going to work, little fox."

Star kept smiling while inside she was screaming. She shouldn't have told him her secrets. Now he knows about her cunning nature.

"I am really sincere with you. I feel bad for you. We both are alike , don't we." She got up from the bed and walked towards him. She stood in front of him and smiled brightly.

"Don't worry baby, even I am going to die, I will try to help you." 

Star chuckled.

"I will take a bath now."

After she left, Xavier was standing dumbfounded with a strange emotion in the pit of his stomach. She was affecting him, she started affecting him and now he was scared.

What if she was using him? What if she left him too just like Jessica?

May be he should just throw her out of this room. He did not want to trust anyone because it hurts when your trust is broken.

"I want to buy this dress." 

Few minutes ago, Xavier was busy in online shopping but right now he was wondering how Star was sitting beside him, nearly in his lap and how he went from me section to female. Either this girl was too smart or he was too dumb.

"Vina has a same dress but in different color. It looked good on me."

She wanted to order that dress and to gain his attention, she placed her hand on his shoulder and rubbed her thumb on his arm unintentionally. Or maybe not, no one knows what's on her mind.

"Don't you hate Vina?" he tried to ignore the sensation in his body.

"No, of course no. Why would I hate you?" Star was confused over his question.

Xavier thought for a second and turned towards her facing her in such a way that he could easily see any change of expression on her face.

"They why you put her name on the list."

"Come on. It wasn't because I hate her. It's something else. Why would I hate her? Girls don't hate each other. I was just angry on her.

But you know what, when we were here outside the room, I wished she could be safe. I wanted her to be safe."

Xavier knew that she wasn't lying.

"In orphanage, we need each other. We all were a family and she always cared about me."

"And still you hate her?"

"I don't. You won't understand. Even if we don't like each other, we still want them to be safe. Well, you won't understand. You are a man."

Xavier sneered.

"What it is with a man?"

"You haven't gone outside for a long time so you won't understand." Star shook her head but soon realized her mistake as Xavier's face became gloomy for a second.

"I am sorry." She held both his hands while Xavier felt a strange feeling in his stomach.

"Don't worry, I will help you get out of these chains."

Star smiled brightly while he pulled his hands out of his grip.

It felt strange. She was affecting him. 

"Xavier, order that dress." Star quickly tried to gain his attention. He had money and she needed money. By the look on his face, she was sure she start having some effect on him.

He heard her calling his name and he quickly came out of his thoughts.

"I look very pretty in this dress. I will wear it on our date."

"Who said I will take you on a dare?"

He chuckled while Star took his phone and start placing the orders.

"Don't worry. I will take you on a date. No, we can have a date in this room. What do you say?"

" You...?

I can't with you Star."

He shook his head in disappoinment making Star chuckle.

"You know what? This room is too boring. I will buy some fairy lights too. Oh, and also some flowers."

She completely ignored him and start telling him about her plans.

Now she had money and a rich boyfriend. She was going to milk him as much as she can so she won't have any regrets when she die.
