Bride of Vampire lord

A man was looking at the screen where he could see a girl talking to his son. As Xavier laughed the man also couldn't stop himself from smiling. It's been decades since he saw his son smiling. He needed to protect her at any cost even if he had to go against the rules.

He could feel that the girl can save Xavier from the chains.

Suddenly someone knocked at the door and he quickly turned off the laptop. No one except him knew that the room has a camera.

Jessica entered the room and greeted him.

"How was your trip Jessica?"

He tried to act polite with her even he didn't want her to be here.

"It was great." She smiled and the man got up from the chair.

"Uncle, I came to know that you wanted another blood pet for Xavier. But he still has one."

"Let's talk about it later. I have to go somewhere now." 

He gave her a hint that she needed to leave the room. Both of them came out and Javes left without saying much. What he could say to her when she was the selfish one.

Jessica saw him leaving and sneered.

"She has to die. I will make sure that he won't get his blood pet on time."

Her eyes glowed but she didn't know one thing, Star will give everything to protect herself.

Star was getting bored while lying on the bed. Xavier was taking a bath from past two hours and she couldn't understand why he was acting strange.

Suddenly she up with a jerk. A thought appeared in her mind and she shivered. Could it be that he was hungry?

She was horrified and nearly screamed when the phone on the table rang. In a confusion, shee finally picked the phone.

"Hm, hello."

"Hello, my name is Javes, I am Xavier's father."

"Oh." Star wasn't sure of what to say.

"You don't need to worry, I will try to save you. But you have to do what I say."

"Save me......I.....mean...." 

She heard a chuckle from the other side.

"I can see you."

Star quickly looked around.

"It's right in front of you, in the picture but don't tell this to anyone." 

"And Why are you telling me this?" She wished he hasn't seen their kiss. Well it was a private thing and she suddenly felt embarrassed.

"Leave this. Listen to me first. I will help you and in return, you will help me. I will try to protect you and you have to protect Xavier. And one thing, don't trust anyone. Not even yourself."

Star quickly nodded and before he could cut the call she asked in a hurry.

"Is Vina.... alright?"

"Oh." 

Her heart sank listening to this one word.

"Yes, she is." He cut the call and Star felt relieved. She was alright.

Xavier rubbed the back of his neck and licked his dry lips. No matter how much he was trying to control himself but all was in vain.

The more frustrated thing was that it was first time he was trying not to drink blood even he had a living human in front of him.

Was he actually started liking her? No, it wasn't. He was only doing this because.......

But he couldn't think of a reason.

He was scanning her, feeling the blood moving through her veins. He could smell her and wanted to sank his teeth in her flesh.

"Stop looking at me like that." He came out of his thoughts hearing Star's annoyed voice.

"I know I am pretty but you are not supposed to stare at beautiful girls like this. You look like a creep."

Xavier was dumbfounded hearing her response. Next second he chuckled.

"You are not pretty at all."

"Then stop starring at me Pervert."

"I am not a pervert. You.... You ..."

Both were bickering at each other but one thing Xavier didn't realize that he couldn't feel his urge of drinking blood.

"You were the one who asked me to be your boyfriend and you are making use of me. I can't believe this. I should have just kill you."

"You can't kill me." Star laughed seeing his expressions.

"You can't kill any girl. Remember this." She warned him who felt threatened by her presence.

"I don't want to talk to you anymore. Leave me alone. You humans are pathetic." 

Star looked at him with a teasing smile and moved closer to him. She took his hand in her own and gently patted it while Xavier looked at her with a shocked expression on his face.

"I know you are hungry."

He blinked slowly.

"You know, pregnant women are also like this. When they are hungry, they get angry."

Xavier scoffed and pulled his hand away from her grip.

"Did you just compare me with a pregnant woman?"

"No..."

"I can see what you are doing, you slay fox."

He was so angry that he wanted to kill her with his own hands.
