Chapter Twenty-one

Kendall’s POV

As Olivia entered the room, her trembling form caught my attention immediately. Without a moment’s hesitation, I rushed over to her. “Olivia, what happened? Are you okay?” I asked, my voice filled with worry, even though I hated the sight of her.

But before she could respond, Declan appeared in the doorway, his presence commanding attention. “Olivia,” he called out, his voice soft yet authoritative.

Olivia’s eyes lit up at the sound of his voice, and she hurried over to him, collapsing into his arms. I watched in silence as Declan wrapped his arms around Olivia, comforting her with his embrace.

The sight of them together, so intimate and familiar, filled me with a strange mix of emotions. Jealousy, anger, and confusion swirled within me, threatening to overwhelm my senses.

Declan lifted Olivia effortlessly, cradling her in his arms as he carried her out of the room. I couldn’t tear my gaze away from them, the ache in my chest growing with each step the
