Ch. 25: Threat

Maddox's point of view

Aster, Kaelyn, and Sariel are going to the mall. Sariel invited me to go with them, but I can't because we still have something important to do. We're still here at the rest house with my siblings, who seem to be lacking some love and care.

"Kuya, look at this," Kenzie snapped, laughing at his antics before showing me his phone. He played a video he recorded of Nyx being dared to apply makeup without a mirror. Tsk. This guy's crazy. Nyx must have heard the video because the volume was on full blast.

"Hey! You're really a jerk, Kenzie! I'm going to kill you. Get over here!" Nyx shouted and chased after Kenzie, who was now running outside.

All we have to do now is wait for Lowe. He explained that he left early because he had a meeting with Sunny. For God's sake, I don't know why. As for Owen and Lexi, they'll be part of our meeting later. They didn't really have somewhere else to go; it was just an excuse they gave to Sariel.
