Chapter 3 Angel

(Flashbacks)

It was a cold day and it was likely about to rain.

The sound of bullets rung through the woods.

Sebastian Munoz ran for his life through the woods and soon the rains started falling.It was raining so heavily and he was drenched in no time but he didn't stop running.

He couldn't.

"There he is.Get him!"A man yelled from behind him and Sebastian quickened his steps.

He was so tired and he felt so weak.

He had already been shot on the arm and it was getting so hard to stay conscious.

"He's wounded.Don't let him get away!"Another man yelled.

Sebastian quickly hid behind a tree,he was panting hard as he stared at his bleeding arm.

"Fuck!"He cursed.

Looking around,alertly,he pulled out his silenced pistol and aimed it at one of the men.

The men was surprised when one of them drop dead to the ground.

They grew more alert when another one fell to the ground again.

Now it was just two of them remaining.

"He's using a silent gun!"The heftier one announced.

"I know where he is!"

Sebastian turned quickly and slide down the slope to the side.

Now,he was so weak that he could barely move.He sighed,heavily knowing he was probably going to die here.

He shut his eyes waiting for the men to come get him any moment because he could hear footsteps approaching but when he opened his eyes,he saw a beautiful girl moving towards him.

The girl's right index finger was raised and placed on her lips,indicating to him not to make a sound.

"You're hurt.Take this."Andrea pulled out a pill and whispered.

Sebastian's weak eyes abruptly turned cold.He clamped down on her arm with a strong force,reversing her body and confining her to the slope.

"Who are you?Why are you here?!"

The forest was eerie and dangerous but she appeared to be unharmed.Clearly,she must be with those men.

Andrea met the man's cold eyes, his eyes did not have the slightest emotion.

She lowered her voice and said."I want to help you so if you don't want to die, let go of me."

At this time,Sebastian had lost too much blood,his body had weakened and then he fainted.

Andrea pushed him aside and raised her head.She heard footsteps of the two men who were looking around for Sebastian.

She had two more darts in her hand.She squatted and fixed her eyes on the men,taking a sharp and steady aim then she shot the darts at them.

The two men screamed,painfully and fell to the ground.

Seeing this,Andrea smiled and glanced at the man on the side,she quickly unbuttoned his black coat to check his injuries.

His left shoulder blade was shot and his right arm was grazed by a bullet.

His wounds looked quite serious.

She placed her hand on his wrist and probed the pulse,her brows slightly wrinkled.

"You should be glad you bumped into me,mister."

Andrea quickly began treating him.She gave him a pill then too out a row of silver needles of varying thicknesses,she found the right acupuncture points and quickly stab bled them down.

In a short while, the blood flow from the wound slowly stopped.

Andrea surveyed the surroundings,and moved the man to an open and flat place.She took out some medical tools that she had with her and took out the bullet from the man's body.

Immediately after that,she took out a handkerchief from her bag and simply bandaged the bullet would.

Soon, Sebastian woke up,he was surprised to see that the pain has lessened a bit.

"Mister,don't worry.I've treated your wounds,you will be fine."A clear sweet voice traveled into his ears.

In a haze,Sebastian raised his eyes to look at the girl,clearly.

He felt like he was dreaming,dreaming about angel who had come to save him from death.

Andrea saw that the man didn't say anything and there was no expression on his face.Turning her head,she caught a glimpse of a slight crack at the edge of the man's cheek.

The corner of her lips slightly lifted a bit,if she wasn't wrong,this man must be wearing a human skin mask and this face in front of her wasn't his true appearance.

Andrea suddenly became curious and she reached out,ready to rip off the mask and see his real face.

But then the sound of an helicopter resounded in the air,startling her.

She really didn't know this man or if he was involved in any kind of trouble and he would be nice if she really doesn't get involved with him so she immediately started packing up her things.She put on her backpack and placed a medicine bottle in Sebastian's hand.

"Mister,you've got toxin in your body,take this medicine and eat one when the toxin strikes in the future.I'm leaving now."Andrea then left.

Sebastian stretched out his hand in a daze.

He wanted to hold her hand but he couldn't,he was too weak to move any further.

He could only lie there and watch her petite figure moved quickly through the mountains until she was out of sight.

After that, he searched for her for six years.

Miraculously, she descended from the heavens once again, like an angel!
