Chapter 6 The union

Andrea looked at the man with a smile on his face.

Was he so happy to be married to her?

Why?

They barely knew each other.

Sighing, she turned around and went to get a few of her necessities.

Ten minutes later,Andrea dragged a small suitcase over and glanced at Sebastian.”We can go now.”

Sebastian thoughtfully looked at the tiny suitcase in her hands and smiled,gently.

He reached out for the suitcase.

“Give it to me.”

“It’s not heavy.”

“I can’t let my woman carry anything.”He said, softly.

Andrea tried not to blush but it was fruitless.Just what was this man doing to her and it was just the first day.

It was getting a bit late when they arrived at Sebastian’s mansion.The entire architectural design for king-style and elegant.

She stared at the garden and marveled at how beautiful it was.The Ferrari slowly drove into the villa and stopped at the entrance.

A middle-aged man in a suit came forward to open the door.He spoke,respectfully.”Young master.””

Sebastian get out of the car and Andrea came out also before he could open the door for her.

Butler Rico walked over with a smile on his face and got hold of the suitcase.

“Good day, young lady.I’m the Butler.The maid will take up your suitcase.”

Andrea looked around and nodded.”Okay.”

She followed the maid to the master’s bedroom on the second floor.

What caught her eye was the simple European style of decoration,black and white color tones.Cozy and comfortable.

She stepped into the walk-in closet and froze.

The closet had been divided into two sections,on the right side were all men’s clothings and on the left side were women’s clothings.

Did he go to get her clothes already.

This man was quite considerate.He prepared everything in just a few hours.

After organizing her belongings,Andrea washed up and went downstairs.At the time,Sebastian was sitting on the living room sofa, holding his cellphone and talking about work.

When he heard footsteps coming downstairs,he glanced at her but his eyes quickly scurried back.

She was wearing a white shirt and a blue long skirt, her delicate black hair was casually draped behind her, her skin was like milk.

Watching her walk down the stairs,she looked like a angel.She had already been like an angel to him.From that very first night she had saved her life.

Sebastian then hung up the phone, his gaze fixed on his woman.

“Let’s have dinner.”He said to her.

Andrea nodded.

She was starving.

Rico didn’t know Andrea’s taste preferences so he prepared several kinds of dishes with various flavors.

On the dining table,the couple are in silence.

After dinner,Sebastian handed Andrea a black card, his tone was gentle and doting.”This card has no password.You can use it anytime you want.You can use it as much as you want.”

Andrea frowned.”I don’t lack money.”

Sebastian grimaced.”You’re my wife now.It’s only natural that I want to spend on you.As it is natural we do other things that normal couples do.”

Andrea’s eyes dilated.

Did other things include sex?

She pressed her thighs together.

She wasn’t sure she was ready to sleep with him.

He continued.”I’m no fool, Andrea.You came to me and reminded me of our marriage contract.You sounded confident about marrying me but when I agreed,I noticed your confidence faltered.I’m taking this union seriously.I want to spend the rest of my life with you but it seems you do not want that.”Sebastian said, his face paling a bit.

Andrea suddenly felt guilty and quickly took the card.

“Fine.You can spend on me.”

For some reason,she couldn’t bear to see him sad.

Sebastian retired to his study to deal with work while Andrea went back to the bedroom after taking a walk in the garden.

After washing up,Andrea was on her cellphone for a while before she felt sleepy.

Just as she was about putting down her cellphone,a ding sound filled the air.

Isobel:Andrea,I’m back home.Whenever you’re in Buenos Aires,let’s go out.

Andrea grimaced.Isobel was a friend that she had met in the countryside a few years ago.

Isobel had moved to Buenos Aires sometime ago.

But both of them still had a good relationship.

Andrea:I’m in Buenos Aires.So we can go out anytime you want to.

Isobel:Are you being serious or you’re just kidding?

Andrea laughed and replied.

Andrea:How about I come find you in a couple of days.

Isobel:Sure.I’ll be waiting!

Andrea looked at the time and it was past ten.

Sebastian was still in the study.Perhaps he didn’t want to consummate the marriage tonight.

Well, that’s good for her.

Without wasting time,she quickly put away her cellphone and went to bed.

Sebastian was dealing with some documents when his phone rang.

He sighed,seeing that it was his Grandmother.

He knew that his grandmother didn’t know about the contract marriage and his grandfather was late now.

Well,it was time to break it to her.

“It’s late,Grandma.You should be asleep.”Sebastian began.

“I have set up a blind date for you tomorrow.Make sure you attend.If you stand this lady up like the rest,I’ll get myself admitted in an hospital.”

Sebastian stifled a laugh.

What kind of threat was that?

“It’s time you stop setting me up on blind dates.I’m married now.”

He heard his grandmother bluffed.”Is that the easiest lie you can come up with?”

“I’m not lying.I’m really married.I got married today.You finally have a granddaughter-in-law.”

“How am I supposed to believe that?You’ve always sworn never to get married!”

“Well, that was before I met her.Grandfather had arranged this union for me when he was still alive.He had told me about it few days before he died but I never took it seriously until today.”
