Chapter 8 Isobel’s blind date

Bruno walked into Sebastian’s office with what he had requested for.

“Sir, this is the young lady’s information that I could find.”

Sebastian took the iPad from him and read through.

“Is this all you could find?It’s just too basic.”

Bruno sighed.”I tried to find more but it was as if all information about her had been intentionally erased.”

Sebastian looked at him expression and continued to stare at the photo of the girl on the iPad screen.

He just couldn’t get over how beautiful his wife was.

“Sebastian,we all know how prompt and thorough Bruno is about finding information of a person.It doesn’t feel right that he found nothing on this girl,you have to be careful.”Luca Diaz said.

Sebastian eyed him and snapped.”You talk too much.There’s nothing wrong with my wife!”

But he knew there was more to that wife of his.

How did she save him six year ago?

Luca sighed.”I’m just looking out for you.”

“Looking out for me?Are you trying to say that my wife is a dangerous person?”Sebastian asked, angrily.

Luca’s jaw dropped.

Never in a million years did he imagine that Sebastian could be this protective over a woman.

“She might be.Do you even know her?”

Bruno who was standing at the side was scared for Luca.

He could see how angry his boss was getting and he genuinely hoped that Luca would stop pushing his buttons so to ease the tension,Bruno let out.

“Mr Munoz,though I didn’t find much information about your wife but I found out that Bloom university employed some young professors today and she is one of them.”

Upon hearing this,Bruno looked at Sebastian with an incredulous expression.

Wow,his wife was a university professor at such a young age.

Sebastian was impressed by that.

“When are we leaving?”He asked Bruno.

“The jet is ready, we can leave in ten minutes.”Bruno replied.

“Alright,send someone to always protect my wife.It should be in secret though.”With that,Sebastian picked up his jacket and headed out of the house.

Two days later found two beautiful girls sitting in a quiet spot at a cafe.

Outside the window was a ray of warm sunlight and people coming and going.

Andrea picked up a cup of coffee at the side and took a sip.

Isobel stared at her with a smile on her face.”I bet you’re happy to see me,Andrea.”

Andrea beamed at her.

“What are you doing in Buenos Aires.I thought you said you wanted to settle down in Paris.”

Isobel was a little depressed as she replied.

“My father forced me to come back.I’ll be living here from now on.He wants me to learn about the family business as I am to inherit it someday.”

Isobel wasn’t really interested in the company.

“By the way,why did you come to Buenos Aires?”She couldn’t hide her curiosity anymore.

“My husband is here.”Andrea replied.

Isobel instantly choked on her coffee.

“Hus…husband?You got married?When?”

It was unbelievable to imagine Andrea getting married.

Who was this lucky man?!

Andrea sighed.”Yeah,I did.”

“When?Who is he?”

Since ‘the husband’ was in Buenos Aires.Maybe she might know him.

“Sebastian Munoz.We got married two days ago.”

This got even more shocking for Isobel.

Sebastian Munoz?

Her father and Sebastian’s grandmother had arranged a blind date for the two of them just a two days ago and Sebastian’s grandmother called to cancel.

Isobel wasn’t too disappointed because she hadn’t been thrilled about her father setting her up on blind dates.

Isobel didn’t continue to ask too many questions.She could see that Andrea was still coming to terms with her new life and she didn’t want to talk about it:

About an hour later,the two ladies walked out of the cafe.

Isobel wrapped her arm around Andrea’s arm and said.

“There’s still time.Let’s go shopping,Andrea.”

Andrea felt goosebumps,she wasn’t keen on shopping.

But seeing Isobel’s expectant face,she couldn’t bear to refuse.

“Alright.”With that,Isobel walked in the direction of the car on the side of the road.

“Rico,you can go home now.”She said to him.

Rico stared at Isobel then at Andrea before nodding.”Okay.”

The spring breeze flew,the grass were growing well and fine and everything seemed to be full of life.

The two ladies came to the busiest shopping mall in the city.

Isobel was so excited.

“Andrea,this shopping mall has top quality goods.I used to come here to shop a lot.You’ll like their clothing.”

Andrea smiled and looked around.Isobel led her to the entrance of the luxurious clothing store.

“Come on,let’s try out some clothes.”

Isobel loved getting dolled up a lot.

Andrea walked in when her and one of the attendants walked up to them.

“Hello,what can I get you?”

“We’ll just take a look.”

Isobel raised an eyebrow and said to the attendant.”Get all the latest editions over here.”

“Okay.”

In a short while, the attendant brought over more than ten sets of outfits.

“These are our newest editions for the season.You can try them on to see if you like them.”

Andrea looked at the pile of clothes in front of her and rubbed her temple.

She found trying on these clothes would be so exhausting.

On the contrary,Isobel was more than excited to start trying them on.

“Andrea, try this.”Isobel said to her.

Just then,her phone rang out.

“You can try any of these outfit that you like,I’ll go take this call.”Isobel informed her.

Andrea nodded and watched Isobel walk away.
