Her kidnap

When Jessica eventually returned downstairs, she was surprised by Cruz's absence as the guards confirmed he had stepped out of the house.

She was disappointed because she was finally ready to make peace with him. She sat on the couch and switched on the TV to the news channel only to be the same murder topic that has been going on for days.

"I hope they catch the culprit already. It's so disheartening to watch." She complained as she switched the TV to another channel.

"Me too." Hayden smiled eerily as he walked up to her and bowed slightly.

By now, Hayden's cuts were almost invincible, and even though Jessica felt bad for him, she decided it would be better to keep a little distance from him in an attempt to reduce Cruz's jealousy and their constant quarrel.

"Oh, Hayden, what are you doing here?" She asked as she awkwardly scratched her head.

She didn't want to make it obvious that he was pushing him away but the way she talked nervously made it obvious to Hayden so he decided
