His Diagnosis

Jessica tried to open her eyes but a splitting headache hit her, forcing her to close them back. It took her several seconds before she could have them open once again.

When she finally woke up, the first thing she saw was a very unfamiliar wooden ceiling. She tried to rub her palm against her face to be sure of what she was seeing but her hands wouldn't move freely.

Next, she tried to sit up and figure out what was going on with her but the more she tried, the more she realized she couldn't do anything aside from opening her eyes.

She looked around the dim room and then to the rest of her body, only then did she realize she was chained to a bed.

Her heart skipped some beats as she remembered how she ended up here.

"Oh no! I should have believed Cruz when he said he had a problem with her." She panicked.

Jessica tried but couldn't bring herself to understand why Hayden would target her.

For all she knew, their path had never crossed before.

"Maybe this is what I get for marryin
