Gamma Luis Knight - POV
“Luis! What is wrong with you!” I heard Ava’s panicked voice while I shut my eyes as I tried to take in deep breaths. I felt her soft hand on either side of my cheeks, and as I opened my eyes, I saw her eyes were clouded with tears while her lips were moving, but I couldn't hear what she said. The pain gradually increased to the pain where I almost lost my breath as I felt like every fiber within me was burning. “What is going on?” I asked my wolf. “She broke the mate bond.” that was all he uttered as he retreated to the back of my mind as I screamed in agony and anger. “Luis, Luis, stay with me.” I heard Ava’s voice, but it felt like a distant call when I saw the black dots appear in the corner of my eyes, and soon everything became dark around me. Beep beep. I scrunched my eyebrows when I opened my eyes and stared up at the depressing grey ceiling. “You are awake.” I heard a soft voice next to me, and as I turned around, I saw Ava was seated next to me while our hands were intervened. “Let me call the doctor,” she said. A few minutes later, the room door opened, and a doctor walked inside. “Do you still feel a burning sensation in your heart, Gamma Knight?” the doctor asked me as she checked my vital. “No, doctor. I feel numb.” I replied when she nodded her head. “Alpha told us to not leak this information to the pack. So, Gamma Knight, the pain you experienced was because your mate rejected you,” she said in a slow tone. For a moment, I didn't understand what she said, but when the words sank in, I felt the anger bubbling within me. “What are you talking about?” “Miss. Abel has rejected you as her mate, Gamma Knight. The pain you felt was when the mate bond between the two of you snapped. You would not feel the pain of it anymore since I administrated an injection for that, but you might have to take some tablets for a while, Gamma Knight.” “How long?” I asked her as I stared into space. “Two to four weeks. Depends on your conditions.” she asserted, and I didn't say anything. “Take care of him, Miss. White.” I heard the doctor say before she walked out of the room. As soon as the door closed, I turned my attention towards Ava. “Where is that bitch right now?” I asked her when the smile on her face faded. “Why do you care about her, Luis? She rejected you and caused so much pain, and you still want to know where she is?” Ava asked me with a raised eyebrow. “With the anger I have inside me, I could strangle her to death right now,” I growled. “Where is she?” “Gone.” Ava flatly replied, and this made me frown. “What do you mean by gone?” I asked her. “She left the pack last night after she rejected you, Luis. The warriors at the gate saw her leave.” Ava replied. “Don't worry about her now, Luis. I think everything happens for a reason, and we could now begin our life together,” she said, but I shook my head. “You have never felt the pain of a broken mate bond, Ava. That bitch made sure that I was on fucking pills for the next few weeks, and I am not going to let her live. Until I kill her using my bare hands, I will never be able to live my life in peace.” I growled as I pulled out the IV needle from my hand and got up from the bed. I need to find out where she is and drag her back to this pack. I marched out of the room, leaving Ava inside. As I reached the pack house, I walked to the Alpha’s office when I saw the two warriors who were standing guard yesterday, walk out of his office. “Gamma Knight.” one of them said as he bowed his head in respect. “What have I told you?” I asked him in a low tone when I saw the fear in his eyes. “Not to let Miss. Abel leave the pack without permission.” one of them mumbled. “And what did you do last night?” “We are sorry, Gamma Knight. Miss. Abel had a permission letter from the Alpha itself. So we thought that she was allowed to leave this pack.” he whispered when I grabbed his collar and pinned him to the wall. He struggled as he tried to claw my hand from his neck, but my grip tightened while my eyes were rapidly changing color. “I gave you a clear order. Do not let her leave without my permission.” I elucidated. “Gamma, please let him…” “Luis!” I heard a commanding voice, and as I turned around, I saw Alpha Hart standing near his office door. “Let him go,” he said, and I had no choice but to adhere to his command as I let the warrior go. He fell to the floor like a sack of potatoes as he began heaving for air. “Come inside my office now,” he said before he walked inside, and I followed right behind him. “She left, Rome,” I growled, the moment I closed the door behind me. “And you want me to remain calm?” “I told you to end this a long time ago. Why did you drag this relationship this long?” he accused me. “I wanted her to suffer for killing my child. And you knew that as well.” “Yes, but I also warned you that something like this might happen.” he retorted when I felt my hands curl into fists. “Those warriors didn't know anything, so we can't blame them, Luis.” “Who would have dared to forge a letter with your signature?” I asked him. “I am investigating that,” Rome told me, but I was still not satisfied with the answer. “Did you find out where she went?”Emilia Abel - POVMy eyes were drooping closed, but I opened them wide as I drove at a little over a hundred miles per hour on the empty road. I have been driving for more than six hours without sleep, and I lost track of my location as well. The sun was beginning to come up from the horizon, suggesting a new day ahead. My eyes almost shut close again when I saw something abruptly jump in front of my car. I didn't have enough time to stop the vehicle as the animal collided with my vehicle, and fell to the floor a few meters away. My heart was beating so fast while my hands trembled from the collision. I quickly got out of the car and ran towards the wolf when it turned into a human. He was badly injured, and I saw there were a lot of cut wounds while he was bleeding from his head. He must easily tower over me when I saw that the entire left side of his chest, along with his arm, was heavily tattooed. With his clean-shaven face and his close-cut hairstyle, it only suggested that he
Emilia Abel - POVI might be a healer, but I have always never been that good with blood, and looking at this man’s wounds, I felt the bile rise up my throat. “We need to save him before he dies in here, Amy,” Silver yelled at me when I nodded my head. I walked out of the room, made my way back to the car, and grabbed my bags as I walked back upstairs. After making sure that the room door was locked, I placed my bags on the bed and looked for the first aid kit that my mom packed for me. I took out most of my clothes when I finally found what I was looking for and placed them on the bed. As I opened it, I saw that Mom had packed everything she would need for an operation, even though I told her that I would never need all these. I placed everything I would need on the bed, grabbed the blanket from the bed, walked towards the man, and placed it over his lower half. I wore a pair of surgical gloves took my equipment towards him, and sat next to him as I began stitching him up. Once I

With great difficulty, I opened my eyes, while I squinted a few times to clear my vision to see that the room was pitch dark.I must have slept the entire day. I tried to get up, but the man’s hold on me tightened, and I felt something poke my inner thigh. “Miss, are you inside?” I heard a man yell. I quickly detangled myself from his hold and got up from the floor. After taming my wild curls, I walked towards the room door and opened it to see the man from the reception standing there. “Yes?” “Just a routine check. There are a few men here looking for someone. So…” I didn't hear the rest of his words as a cold shiver ran down my spine. Did he find me? “Could you and your husband come with me?” he asked me when I was broken out from my trance. I stepped out of the room and closed the
Emilia Abel - POV“Lu…Luis, please.” I stammered as the whip came in contact with my back for the fifth time as I scrambled away, trying to escape. My back felt like it was on fire as I felt the blood dripping down my torn shirt. “Where the fuck are you going, bitch!” I heard him growl as he took hold of my hair and pulled me back up. “Argh! Let me go, please!” I begged as the tears streamed down my cheeks while he turned me around. There was an empty look in his soulless black eyes while his jaw was clenched as he stared right into me. “You whore! Couldn't you do just one thing right?” He sneered as I shook my head and tried to get him to let me go, but his hold on my hair only increased as I felt a part of my hair ripped from my skull.“So…sorry, Luis. I was exhausted and…” “Shut up!” I flinched as he roughly pushed me to the floor. “That was my favorite black shirt, and you ruined it,” he growled as his chest rose and fell in anger while I stared at the ground. Emilia Abel - POVIt was not easy to drive past the busy pack town when I constantly kept looking back to see if Luis was coming behind me. My heartbeat was still erratic while I kept wiping my sweaty palms on my jeans. As I reached the pack borders, I saw the two warriors approach my car. “Miss. Abel, are you leaving the pack?” one of them asked me when I nodded my head as I took the letter that my mom forged and gave it to him. “My friend just gave birth, and I am going to visit her,” I told him as he scanned the forged paper, which had our alpha’s signature on it. Ever since I became Luis’s mate, he had made sure that I did not even step out of the house, not alone in the pack. “Isn't Gamma Knight coming with you?” the warrior asked me with a suspicious look on his face. “You know how he is swarmed with work. He told me to go ahead and he would join me later.” I said without stammering, and the warrior nodded his head as he handed the paper back to me. “Okay, have a safe journe
