Chapter 5: The Twins

It’s been three months since the council and I voted to put Camie and my Dad in the D.C. facility. They can never bother us again. Mom and Laura are helping plan my wedding. The color scheme is gold and wine red.

I sat in my office as we went over the plans mom is going to walk me down the aisle. Amanda is going to be the flower girl. The wedding is going to be in December this year. And it’s going to be in our backyard.

There was a knock at the door. I went to go answer it. Andy was at the door.

“What do want?” I said

“I made a mistake Christina, I shouldn’t have cheated on you with all those girls. I love you. I always have and I always will. You are the love of my life. Please take me back” He said.

“Not a chance. The only reason you would come back to me is that Olivia broke up with you. After all, she found someone better. And all the other girls broke up with you. So, please leave me alone.” I said

I slammed the door in his face. I was heading upstairs and I felt my stomach turning. I ran to the bathroom and threw up everything I ate. I kept throwing up until there was nothing to throw up.

Alexi ran into the bathroom. He held my hair as I dry heaved.

“Are you okay babe? Do want some tea?” Alexi asked.

I lifted my head out of the toilet and nodded.

“Ok, I'll be right back.” He left

I lay against the bathroom wall.

Alexi came in with the tea. I took a is. It was a perfect temperature. I drank the tea and immediately threw it up.

"Babe, are you doing ok?” He touched my forehead. "Whoah hot. You're not in heat? Right.”

“No I’m not but I think I might be pregnant.”

“Wait really? Are you sure?” Alexi asked

“I’m not exactly sure but maybe w we should go to the doctor. They can tell us.”

“Alright let’s go.” He took me to the sub-basement and we went through the portal to the hospital.

“What’s wrong?” the nurse asked.

“She has a fever and she might be pregnant.”

“Okay, we will check her out.” The nurse said.

They took me to the back. They did some blood tests and made me pee in a cup. They gave me aspirin for my fever. In about an hour later the doctor came into my room.

“Hello Christina, I have some good news. You are three months pregnant. Congratulations you two.”

“Thank you so much, Doc,” Alexi said.

They sent me home. They set up an appointment for me at the OBGYN next week. My mother and I are going. Alexi is going to stay with Amanda. The barrier to keep Dracula is failing. We called Klara but she is busy and I’m not strong to do it right now. So we are being extra cautious right now. As soon as I got home I eat and went to bed. I was exhausted. The next morning when I woke up. I still had a fever. I also had a migraine, I was light-headed and nauseous. I went to the bathroom and threw up everything I ate yesterday. I drew a hot bath. I got undressed and got in the bath. I felt a little better. Alexi walked in.

“How are you feeling Christy?” Alexi asked.

“I’m feeling a little bit better the bath is helping. I still feel nauseous.” I said,

“How is your fever?” He touched my forehead. “Still really hot. Maybe we should go back to the doctor.”

“Okay,” I said,

We go back to the hospital. He talks to the nurse.

“Her fever hasn’t gone down it's gotten hotter,” Alexi said.

The nurse looks at me with a confused look.

“She was three months pregnant last night when she left right?” The nurse said.

“Yes.?” Alexi said.

“So why does she look five months pregnant?”

Alexi turned around and looked at me. His Jaw dropped.

“How is this possible? She was three months pregnant just yesterday.”

“What are you talking about I am three months pregnant.” I looked down at my belly.

I started to freak out.

“What happened? What type of dark magic is this? Get Klara here now. Send my mother. I need an explanation for this right now. Check the camera and see who went into my room yesterday.”

“Yes, ma’am right away.”

They took me to a room and had security outside my door. My Mother and Klara came into the room.

“Christina, what happened? You were just three months pregnant yesterday when you got home?” Mom asked.

“I don’t know that’s what I'm trying to figure out. Klara, can you scan my body and see if you find anything.”

“Sure, just lay down,” Klara said.

She scanned my body when she finished. She looked at me with a worried face.

“What is Klara? I asked.

“Someone has drugged you using a forbidden dark magic spell. It makes your pregnancy go faster you will deliver your child in four days.” Klara said.

“Who would do this?” My Mom said.

“I would,” Dracula said. “You can keep the baby Alexi I only want her.”

“You can’t have her,” Alexi said.

“None of you can have her because she is coming with me. Once the child is born I am going to kill her. She locked up my father King Arthur. After she gets him out of that government facility he will return to the council as their president.” Arthur's kid said.

“Yeah, that’s never going to happen. The council voted him out we would never vote him back in.” Alexi said.

“You wouldn’t? Not for your child’s life.”

“Don’t you dare threaten my child’s life,” I said.

I rose in the air and twirled. My red dress appeared my wings grew out of my back. My two dragons came out of my arms and flew around the room. I grabbed him by his collar.

“Understand this young man, Never threaten a child in front of their mother. Especially an unborn child. You don’t know me. I am not only the president of the council, I am a witch, a fairy, and I vampire. So watch your tone and your words. Because I can send you to the facility that your dad is in. or a much worse one. Like the one my dad and my step-mom are in. Trust me you don’t want to go there. I heard that do testing on people like you and your dad. They love the immortal ones. They do testing on you every single day, all day. No breaks.”

“Why would you send your dad there?” Arthur’s kid asked.

“Because he betrayed my mother and sent her to the government facility to be with his mistress. And your dad is in that facility because he left her there. In the five years that my mother suffered, he never once tried to help her. She has served on the council for many years. She has saved your father's life countless times. And the thanks that she gets is him abandoning her”

“He wouldn’t”

“Unfortunately, he did. He told my mother that she was on her own because she was stupid enough to get caught, Luckily, my mother, the owner of the facility saw something in my mother and now she owns the facility where she was imprisoned. Your father is in that facility.”

“I never thought that my Father would be so heartless. I’m so sorry Ms. President and Mrs. Carter. When you get better could you take me to my father's? I would like to speak with him.”

“Of course,” I said.

He left. I turned towards Dracula.

“You have no idea what have you done, Dracula I can’t believe you would use dark magic on me. On my child are out of your mind?! You have to be kidding me right.”

“I want you Christy, not your child. Alexi can keep the baby.” Dracula said.

“Dracula if this is how you express your love for someone. No wonder you are alone.” I said. “No, get out of here before I make you.”

“You can’t do anything to me right now you are weak.”

“But I can and I would l love to send you to the D.C.in the facility that my husband is in. My daughter is not an object that you can have if so much as lay a finger on my daughter or my grandchild you will regret it.” My Mom said.

Dracula grabbed me and pulled me down.

“In four days, you will be mine. You will be the Queen of Transylvania. And you will gift me an heir so I can retire.” He kissed me.

I pushed him away.

“What the hell,” I said.

My mother grabbed Dracula by his wrist.

“I warned you not to touch my daughter. You are done. Looks like your wish will come true. It’s early retirement for you and your son will be the king of Transylvania and my daughter will be the queen.” She took him away.

I looked at Alexi, “I'm sorry Alexi I know you didn’t want to be the king.”

“It’s fine Christy it’s my responsibility now. I'm just sorry you have been dragged into it.”

“I’m fine as long as I am by your side, I love you so much, Alexi. You are my m world.” I said.

“I love you too baby. Well, we will stay here until you give birth. And after that, we will get married at the castle and then we will be crowned king and queen,” Alexi said.

In four days, I gave birth to twins, a boy, and a girl. We named the girl Sharie, and the boy was named Anthony. They were so precious. She had her father’s nose and Anthony looked at his father when he was a baby. Delores came to the hospital holding Amanda.

She gave Amanda to Alexi.

“I heard what happened I can’t believe he would try something like that, I knew he was crazy but not that crazy. He used forbidden dark magic to speed up your pregnancy. Where is that bastard at?” Delores asked.

“My mother just took him to the D.C. facility,” I said.

“Oh, thank God I don’t have to deal with him anymore. Finally, he got what he deserved.” Delores said.

My mother came back.

“So how did it go?” Alexi asked.

“It went it went well the happily took the oldest vampire that has ever lived.”

“Great I never want to see that guy ever again,” I said.

“Alright, we have to go to Transylvania,” Alexi said. “We are moving there. We will move some of the stuff from the mansion to here, but we are keeping the house. It will our vacation home. Mom, can you get the priest? We are getting married.”

“Right now? Christy just gave birth and she was put under a dark forbidden magic, she needs rest.”

They turned around to find me sleeping. I was holding Sharie and Anthony they were sleeping too.

“Look at her she looks so adorable,” Delores said.

“Alexi, I know you love my daughter but you need to be a little bit more patient, I know you want to marry her right away. But you have to account for the fact that she is about to become queen of a place she has never been,”

“Remember how she reacted when she became a vampire,” Delores said. “You need to let her process this.”

“Your right Mom. I don’t anyone to come between us.”

“After everything you two have been through together what makes you think that anything could come between you two.” Mom said.

I stirred in my sleep. Sharie woke up. Alexi picked her up and rocked her in his arms. She went back to sleep.

“Anything could change. She could change her mind. A lot of things have happened since we have gotten together. My dad has been trying to get with her. Her pregnancy was sped because of him. Nothing has been easy for her.” Alexi said.

“Yeah, that's right my life has been anything but easy. But I wouldn’t want to be anywhere but right here by your side, Alexi.” I said. “And for becoming queen I know you want to do it immediately but remember when we first dated, I wanted us to take it slow. We need to take this slow. You know I want to marry you I just gave birth. Can we just take a moment? We have two babies to take care of. Our wedding can wait. And so can Transylvania.”

“Okay, Christy let's take our babies and go home.”

We went home we put Sharie and Anthony in their cribs. Delores put Amanda in her crib. She stood up in her crib. Alexi and I looked at her. She took two steps and she fell on her but. I picked her she giggled.

“I can’t believe it! You just stood up and took steps. I’m so proud of Amanda.” I twirled her around.

I kissed her on the forehead. She reached for Alexi. I handed her over to him. He kissed her on her the forehead.

“I can’t believe this. I’m so happy.” Alexi said.

There was a knock on the door. I went downstairs. I opened the door and Tiffany was standing there.

“Move skank I’m here for my baby.”

“You’re not going anywhere near my daughter,” I said.

She slapped me. “Your daughter, Amanda will never be your daughter you fucking whore. You could never be a mother. All you are is a man stealing bitch. Alexi is my man and Amanda is my daughter.”

“I just gave birth today to twins. I am a mother. So could you get the fuck out of my house you man-stealing whore.”

She flashed her fangs and hissed at me.

Delores came downstairs. She saw Tiffany hissing at me

“What do you think you are doing, Tiffany? Show some respect to your Queen.” Delores said.

“Queen? As if. She nothing but a man-stealing whore.”

“You left remember? You left Amanda with Alexi. You never came back. So why now? Why try and come back into his life now?” Delores asked.

“Because I love him,” Tiffany said.

“Well it’s too late for that, he has moved on. He has Christina now and two kids with her. Leave now. You are no longer welcome in the house of the King and Queen Bellefonte.” Delores pushed her out the door. “ I’m so sorry about that.”

“It's not a problem. I’m going to bed see you in the morning.”

There was a knock on the door. I opened it.

“Tiffany I don’t .” I started to say

“Move.” This woman pushed me. “Alexi come downstairs baby. I’m home.”

“Who are you?” I asked.

‘I’m Anne his mate.”

“His mate? Alexi Daniel Bellefonte, come downstairs right now and explain. Or I’m taking my children and leaving this instant.” My body rose in the air I twirled and my red dress appeared and my wings grew out of my back. Two fireballs were in my hands and the dragons came out of my arms.

I heard Alexi fall out of the bed. He came tumbling down the stairs.

“What the hell are you doing here Anne? Don’t do that are you trying to get me in trouble.?” Alexi said

“Sorry I just had to come to see my little brother and meet his mate the future Queen of Transylvania. Hi, I’m Anne. Alexi’s big sister. Sorry about that. My dad told me about your temper. Also, I’m sorry about his actions I didn’t know what he was going to do with the potion I made.”

“You mad that potion that means.”

“That’s right I’m a half-witch and I’m related to you. My father’s first wife was your grandmother, Gloria. She was your father’s mother. Wonderful woman, she was a great mother. She would love to meet you.”

“She’s still alive?” I asked.

“Yeah, she’s a vampire she got marked by dad. You know I can sense some of him in you.”

“Yeah he tried to mark me and he tried to rape me the first time I had heat,” I said.

“Oh my God. I’m so sorry.”

“It’s fine. It’s over. I never have to see him again.”

“Where is Dad?”

“He’s been sent to a facility in D.C,” I said.

“Well, that’s what he gets for trying to mess with you, Christy. Honestly, he’s always been a dick.” She said.

“Yeah,” Alexi said.
