Chapter 3: The Rescue.

I graduated college with honors. It’s June of 2023. Now it is time for training. I went to Klara I showed her what I learned from the exercises she gave me. Not it’s time to start on the six months of training. We do the training in my backyard. From 7am to 9pm everyday. It isn’t as bad as it seems. I get a two hour break for lunch and Amanda wakes up around that time. By the time the training is over. I eat dinner go to bed. But this night was different. Once I finished training there was a tightness in my chest. My whole body was on fire. I passed out on the lawn. Klara called Delores.

Delores came running out.

“What happened?” Delores asked.

“She’s in heat. Go make her an ice bath. And find Alexi.”

“I’m here what wrong?” Alexi said.

He looked down at me. He hissed at his mother and scooped my unconscious body into his arms.

“Son be gentle with her. And don’t do anything until she wakes up.” Delores said.

“She’s my mate, Mom. I can take care of her.” He carries me to the bedroom and locked the doors. The one leading to Amanda’s room and the one leading to the hallway. Alexi paces the floor waiting for me to wake up. When I do. I pounce on him and we fall to the ground. We tear at each others clothes A hunger I have never felt before has taken over me. There is something different. We take off our clothes. My body is still on fire. Alexi kisses me and my body cools down. He pushes me down.

“You are mine.” Alexi growled into my neck. He bitter down leaving his mark.

I felt lightheaded. The room was spinning and my body was on fire again. I passed out again. Alexi called his mother. She knocked on the door. Alexi unlocked. He hissed at her when she got near me. She hissed back and he backed down.

“She needs an ice bath to help drop the fever. Just be there for her. The first day of heat is the worst. Usually the first day involves vomiting, nausea, passing out the heat that she is feeling all over her body. She will be okay. I’ll go prepare the bath.”

“Wait, Mom , shouldn’t I be feeling what she’s feeling because I’m her mate. I’m not feeling anything.”

“That’s because she is blocking you out. She is in excruciating pain and she doesn’t want you to feel it. Some people die because of heat. Very rare but it happens.”

Alexi looked at me. My face covered in sweat.

“You don’t have to push me out Christy. I can handle this.” Alexi said.

I woke up. “You can’t handle it. Alexi trust me. All the pain and the lust I have right now it’s almost unbearable.”

“I can handle it. Trust me Christy.”

“Okay, but put me down on the bed. I don’t want you to drop me.”

He put me on the bed.

I unblock him. He fell to his knees. He could barely breathe. He looked at me with tears in his eyes. I blocked him out again.

Delores walked in. “The bath is ready.”

She looked at her son who is now on the ground in shock.

“What happened?” Delores asked.

“I unblocked him and he felt everything. He’ll be fine in a minute.” I said.

I got off the bed and I felt the pain in my chest. I couldn’t breathe. My heart beat rose .I collapsed on the floor. My temperature spiked up. Alexi got himself together and picked me up. He took me to the bathroom and laid me in the ice bath. He and his mom walked out the bathroom.

In the corner of my eye I see Dracula in the corner. He walked towards me.

“Hello Christina. I see you are in heat. How nice.”

“Dracula what are you doing here?”

He kneeled by the tub and put his hand the water.

“I’ve come for you my drear. I told you I would.”

“Momma.” Amanda cried.

I got of the tub. Dracula grabbed me by my arm and pinned me to the walk. He kissed me. I unblocked Alexi. Help me.

Dracula put two fingers inside of me. I pushed him away.

“Don’t pretend you don’t want this. You are in heat aren’t you.” He put three fingers in this time.

I felt so weak. Alexi burst into the bathroom. I saw Klara behind him.

“Dad let her go.”

“Alexi. Help me I don’t feel so good.” I said.

I coughed up blood. I looked at Alexi.

“Momma.” Amanda cried again.

“It’s okay baby Momma is coming.” I wiped the blood from my mouth.

I pushed my self away from Dracula and I fell into Alexi. Alexi helped me up.

“Christy you need to rest.” Alexi said. “And, Dad. if you ever touch Christy like that ever again, I will kill you myself.”

“No, I need to get to Amanda.” I said.

“You lay down and I will get Amanda.”

“Alexi don’t leave me alone with him.” I said.

“I won’t baby. You just rest. Dad you are coming with me Mom can you give Amanda to Christy and grab Klara for me.”

“Sure son.” Delores said.

I could feel Alexi's anger.

Delores gave me Amanda. Amanda stopped crying when she got in my arms. She calmed down and so did I.

“Its okay baby Momma is here. No need to cry anymore” I patted her back and kissed her forehead.

She fell asleep soon after. I got up and put her in her crib. I put my robe on and I went downstairs to see what was talking Alexi so long. I saw Klara casting a spell. I walked up to Alexi. As soon as I touched him my temperature spiked and I couldn’t hold the lust back anymore. I needed him now. And he felt it.

“Klara how much longer.” Alexi said.

“Two seconds and done. Dracula can never set foot in this house ever again. And if he tries he will die.”

“Like I believe you witch. You can’t stop me from getting to Christy.” Dracula tried to walk in.

His hand is on fire.

“My mother was the one who cursed you and you tried to rape my student. And what did you say. ‘Don’t pretend you don’t want this. You’re in heat right?’. You should be ashamed of yourself. Go away Dracula you are no longer welcome here. And Christy wear this it will stop Dracula from ever coming near you.”

Klara left finally.

Alexi looked at me and I looked at him. He came to me and kissed me hungrily. He took my robe. I took off his shirt. He picked up and took me upstairs to the bedroom. He laid me on the bed. He took his pants and underwear off. He got on top of me. He kissed me again. My body yearned for. He inserted himself inside me. And he fucked me until morning. He came six times I came ten times. I have never been fucked like that. We laid on the bed. Out of breath.

“So that was amazing.” Alexi said.

“Yeah. You were amazing. It morning. We should sleep before Amanda wakes up. “ I said.

I started coughing and blood came up.

“Christy, we need to get you to a doctor.”

I tried to talk but more blood came out.

He grabbed me and went down to the sub basement. There was a portal. He jumped through it with me in his arms. We were in a hospital. He walked to the front desk.

“Please help her. She coughing up blood. She started her heat yesterday.”

“Okay. We will help her.” The nurse said.

They took me back.

“Please don’t let her die. She’s my mate I can’t live without her.” Alexi said.

I coughed and more blood came out my mouth. I passed out.

I woke up in a hospital bed. Alexi was sleeping in the chair next to our bed. I sat up. My head hurt so bad. Alexi shifted in his chair. He opened his eyes.

“Christy?” Alexi hugged me so tight I could barely breathe. “I didn’t know if you going to wake up again. Christy you almost died because you were in heat. The doctors put you in a medical induced coma. You have been out for four months. Your Dad came to visit. The whole council came.”

“Three months. Are things okay at home. I hope your dad hasn’t been harassing you.”

“Everything I fine. Amanda misses you. She won’t stop crying. Unless I put her on top you.”

“Where is my baby?” I asked.

“Right here.” Delores said.

Delores has a sleepy Amanda on her hip. She hands her to me.

Amanda opened her eyes and squealed. “Momma.”

“That’s right baby girl. I’m here now.”

“How are you feeling?” Delores asked

“Much better than I did before I almost died.” I said.

“I’m happy to hear that. I honestly hope that doesn’t happen again next year.”

The doctor walked in.

“You’re awake. Thank goodness. We almost lost you. This was your first time in heat as a vampire?”

“Also the first time being a vampire. I’m a witch, a fairy and a vampire.”

“Wow that’s a lot that’s probably why your heat was so intense. Did you have a birthday before this happened.?”

“Yes my birthday was on the day my heat started. I just turned 24.”

“I see. You’re a late bloomer. So what happened was that your body temperature was to hot and that’s why you were coughing up blood. Next year when it happens get in to an ice bath immediately and stay in there for at least an hour.” The doctor said. “You’re free to go as soon you get your discharge papers.”

He left.

Alexi looked at with sadness in his eyes.

“What’s wrong baby?” I reached out for his hand.

He grabbed my hand. “I almost lost you Christy. It hurt me to see like that. I love you Christina.”

“I love you too Alexi.”

We got the discharge papers and went home. Alexi carried me to our bedroom. Even though I told him I could walk.

“Stay there. I’ll bring dinner up.”

“Alexi I want to eat with all of you.”

I got out the bed. Alexi ran back to me.

“Just rest.”

“I just woke up from a coma. I don’t need anymore rest, Alexi.”

“Baby you went through so much I don’t want to put your body through anything else.”

“Alexi I’m fine I’m not in heat anymore. My body is fine. Any way. I just want to eat dinner with my family.”

“Fine. Okay.” Alexi went to go pick me up.

“I can walk Alexi.”

“I know.”

I walked down stairs to the dining room and sat down at the table. We ate and had a good time. When we finished I washed the dishes and went to bed. The next day I started my training with Klara again . Alexi disliked that idea but I told I had no time to waste in rescuing my mother. I finished the six months of training and then I started the next six months of training with Laura. I was training in the woods with her with the rest of the fairies. Everything was smoothly and then my birthday came around and I was in heat again and no where near Alexi. Laura prepared an ice bath immediately. I guess Klara talked to her about it. It wasn’t as bad as last time. I stayed in the ice bath for an hour. Laura had an ice fairy by my side to keep me cooled down when the ice would melt. She sent another fairy to get Alexi. Alexi came the next day.

“Hey baby girl how you doing?” Alexi said.

“A lot better now that I’m seeing your face.” I said..

He pulled me towards him. His breath was hot on my neck. “You are all mine baby girl.”

I felt shiver run down my body.

“And you belong to me.” I whispered in his ear.

I bit down on his neck leaving my mark. He lifted up my chin with his thumb and kissed me.

We separated.

“I love Alexi.” I said

“I love you too Christina.”

Alexi left and I went back to training. The week was over and my heat was finally done. And I could focus on my training. The six months went by pretty quickly. We had a party for Alexi’s 125th birthday. The witches and the fairies came the council came to. Our house was packed but we had a good time.

Around midnight Alexi stood on a table in the backyard. He tapped his glass with a spoon.

“Can I have everyone’s attention. “ He said.

He jumped off the table and came to me. He got down on one knee and held my hands.

“Alexi?!” I said

“Christina Alexandra Smith. In this past year or so I have never loved anyone like I have ever loved you. And you love my daughter l8ke she is your own and you are her favorite person even though I her father. You are the most amazing woman I know and I can’t imagine my life without you in it. So will you marry me?”

“Yes, Alexi of course. Yes!” I said.

There were cheers and claps all around us.

The next week the council got together. And I was down there with them. The told me about the facility. Where the should be holding my mom. I had a good distraction that would distract most of the guards and for the rest of them I have an idea.

“Are you sure about this?” Alexi asked me.

“I’m sure I got this. Don’t worry I’ll be home I no time with my mother by my side.

My wings grew out my back I flew to the government facility. I created a lightning storm that covered the whole facility. I threw fire balls into the clouds and it expanded. The lightning bolts were bigger and more powerful. Some of the lightning bolts hit buildings. Some of them caught on fire. An alarm went off. I saw about 50 guards come out and go to the buildings that were on fire. Right behind them was a woman she was wearing a uniform. She looked up and noticed me. My dragon detached itself from my arm. I made another one. It went down to her and she dispelled it with her.

“Shoot her down she yelled.”

The guard fired laser guns at me. I flew higher so they couldn’t reach me. But one laser hit my wing and I fell out the sky. I passed out on impact.

When I woke I was in a cell. My feet were chained to the wall.

The woman was standing in front of the cell. “ Who are you. And what is business here?” She said.

“Where is my mother. I need to see her?” I said.

“What makes your mother is here young lady?”

“Because my father betrayed her and sent here. Her name is Elizabeth and I am her daughter Christina. So when is she?”

‘Christina is that you?” She opened the cell.

“Yeah and who are you?”

“I’m your mother.” She went come hug me.

I backed away from her. “You’re working for the government?”

“Sweetheart, I run the government. Well facility and two others.”

“I don’t get it. Dad sent you here fifteen years ago and now they let you run things.”

“There’s a lot we need to talk about my darling girl. Get these chains of Mt daughter.”

They took the chains off of me. My mother led me to her office.

“Let me have a look at your wing. I’m so sorry about that. We don’t like uninvited guest here.”

I turned around she touched my wing and it shot pain down my back.

“Ouch.” I said

“Sorry, it will heal in about two days. So how did become so powerful. The dragon was incredible. But that lightning storm. I have never seen anything like that.”

I turned back around. “Klara and Laura help me control my magic in a year. The council has been a great help.”

Mom rolled her eyes.

“What?” I said.

“You can’t trust them honey. You're deceiving lying sons of bitches. They betrayed me.”

“Are you talking about Camie? She married to Dad now.”

“Not just the whole council. Except two of them. Laura was my student and the vampire guy, what was his name?”

“Alexi?”

“Yeah him.”

“He’s my mate and we just got engaged and I am also a vampire now.”

“What? Really that’s amazing. Have you gone through heat?”

“Yes. The first one was terrible. I almost died. The doctor put me in a medical induced coma. I woke four months later. The second wasn’t so bad I was training with Laura. She was there by my side and an ice fairy to keep me cooled off.”

“Wow.”

“So tell me what happened here. Hoe did you end up running two government facilities.” I said.

“Well when your father sold me out I came here as a prisoner and was locked in the same cell as you. After about five l long years of being tested on. The captain released me from my cell and pulled me into his office. He said he had a message for me from my family. It was the council. They said sorry Elizabeth but you are no longer apart of the council. If you dumb enough to get caught we don’t need you anymore. But there two more message one from Laura and one from Alexi that said hang on we will find a way to get you out of there. So I did. I hung to hope that they would find a way to free me. But it didn’t last and I made a decision to turn my back on the council and fight for myself. Later year the Captain talked to me again and asked me join the guards with my fairy powers I could protect this country so I did and soon I rose in the ranks and the captain saw my great leadership. He retired and passed it down to me.”

“Wow, I can’t believe the council did that to you. They just left you here. I just thought they didn’t have the means to rescue you.”

I felt the angered ride in me. I raised in the air I twirled around my red dress appeared and my wing healed.

“They are going down.” I said

“Oh my Christina wait.”

I flew home lucky me they were still in the sub basement.

I grabbed Arthur by his collar and raised him off the ground with one hand.

“Christina, what are you doing? Let him go.” Alexi said.

“He left my mother in a cell for five years and basically told her your on your own and is no longer part of the council because she was dumb enough to get caught. That’s what you said to my mother. I will kill you.”

My mother landed next to me.

“Christina put him down.” My mom put her hand on my shoulder.

I dropped him and he fell on his ass.

“Elizabeth.” Arthur said

“Arthur, I should take you to the government facility and put you in a cell for five years and see how you like that.”

“You can’t do anything to me. I run the council.”

“And I run the government facility you left me in.”

“What? You run the government facility. You are a woman. You shouldn’t be running anything.”

“And the misogyny comes out. Now wonder you been single for a hundred years.” My mom said.

“Arthur gets no bitches. That’s why you’re a bitter old fuck.” I said

I heard Alex stifle a laugh. He snorted and everyone started laughing.

“Maybe it’s time for the council to have new leadership.” My mother said

“New leadership, and who might you suggest to be our new leader?” Arthur said.

“Christina.” Klara said.

“Christina? Are you out of your minds?” Arthur yelled.

“Why don’t we take a vote?” Alex said. “All in favor of Christina being our new leader raise your hands and say aye.”

Ten council members raised their hands and said aye. Except for Arthur of course but his vote doesn’t matter.

“First matter of business. Arthur you are no longer part of this council. And you will be held accountable for your actions. If the council will allow it I wish for my mother to take care of him.

“We agree. Take him away Elizabeth.” Laura said.

The other council members nodded their heads in agreement.

“Good.” I said. “Alright meeting adjourned. I’m exhausted I used a lot of magic today.”

Right before my mother left a council member walked up to her and Arthur. He punched him in his gut.

“You are disgusting.” He said

My mother left and dropped Arthur in a cell and came back.

“Hey Christy who’s the crazy guy outside of your house?” Mom asked.

I looked out the window. Dracula blew me a kiss. I pulled the blinds down.

“Alexi!”

“Yeah.” He came into the living room.

“Please tell your dad to leave. Before I have my mom put him in a cell.” I said.

“He’s outside again. He might learn a lesson about stalking if he’s in a cell.” Alexi sighed.

“What a minute I know that face. Dracula, that’s your dad?”

“Yeah and he’s a real pain in the ass. He’s been trying to take Christy as his wife since last year. And almost raped her while she was in heat.’

“He did what?” My mother’s wings came out and her hair turned into fire. She flew outside and went to Dracula.

“If you ever come near my daughter or this house again so help me God I will throw you in a cell and torture you until you beg for death. Do I make myself clear.” A fire balk appeared in her and she threw it at him. He turned into a bat and flew away.

Mom came back in. She yawned. “I didn’t really how tired I was until now.”

“Momma.” Amanda cried.

“I’m coming baby.” I said.

“You have a child?” Mom asked.

“It’s Alexi’s daughter. Do you want to come meet her?”

“Yes, of course.”

I led Mom to Amanda’s room. I picked her up out of her crib. She reached for my mom. So I handed Amanda to her.

“She’s beautiful.” Mom said..

She gave Amanda back to me. She yawned again. I showed her the guest room. I went to our bedroom and laid down. I put Amanda on my chest I pulled the covers on top me. I kissed Alexi goodnight. And I went to sleep.
