"Damien!" A sweet female voice exclaimed out of nowhere. She looked dazzling with blonde hair and bright blue eyes but she had a petite frame and looked really small compared to Damien. Her outfit looked so expensive and I somewhat felt intimidated, I couldn't compete with that.

"Hey mum..." He said with a little bit of a smile.

Wait, what?

I stared at him, mouth agape. Maybe it's just a nickname. I tried assuring myself.

"How are you baby?" She asked fondly, bringing him close so she could place a peck on his cheek.

"I'm fine mum, how are you?" He replied, still holding her close.

"Hey bro!" A young handsome, blonde, blue eyed guy who seemed like the male version of the woman in front of me, came close and shook hands with Damien who glared at him.

"What did I do this time?" The blonde dude rolled his eyes.

"You weren't at the site to supervise the workers even after I instructed you to." Damien gritted sternly with a hard gaze on the poor guy.

"Damien... Now, now, this isn't why we're here, we agreed that business talks would wait." The woman drawled like she was speaking to a five year old.

Her eyes fell on me the next moment.

"And, who is this?" She asked sweetly, her eyes darted between Damien and I severally.

He cleared his throat and slightly nudged me forward.

"Mum, this is Ariana, my fiancé."

She gasped.

"Oh my goodness! So, the rumours are true!" She exclaimed. She came over and hugged me, which was absolutely unexpected. I hugged her back though. She smiled at me and I smiled back.

"Come with me darling, you'll sit beside me." She said and I looked back at Damien for his approval.

"Go on." He muttered, looking into his phone.

"Damien, put that phone down!" His mother instructed as we moved towards the other family members who chattered away. He pocketed his phone immediately.

So, he listens?

"Hey guys, there's someone I want you to meet." She said in a sing song voice.

Everyone's attention was now focused on us as she held my hand up.

"This is Ariana, Damien's wife to be."

They were all shocked.

"Oh my gee! Congrats big bro!" A teenage black haired girl with glasses screamed, turning around the table to hug Damien and then she came to me and did the same.

"You're so pretty!" She complimented, making me smile before giving me another hug.

The congratulatory messages kept coming and I officially met the family.

It turned out that that very young, beautiful young woman is Damien's biological mother, he's her first child and her name is Stella. I found it so hard to believe. She was so warm and sweet, I wondered why her son was so cold.

Damien is a splitting image of his father, Gerald with only age keeping them apart and Gerald's greying hair. Gerald seemed nice and very welcoming, just like his wife.

His immediate younger sister, Tracy, was about two years my senior, she was twenty five and didn't seem to be very fond of me. I ignored her indifference.

Damien's younger brother whom he scolded earlier, Jesse, happened to be about a year younger than me, about twenty two. He's so cute.

And last but certainly not least, Fiona. Fiona was sixteen, in high school, super smart and so adorable.

In all, they were a very cute family although, I did notice some friction between Damien and his father.

The highlight and most trying time of the night was when the questions came pouring in.

"So where did you guys meet?" His mum asked sweetly staring at me for an answer.

It was a cliche question that probably seems easy. But, no! We hardly rehearsed anything and I was so not prepared for it.

I stared in his direction and saw he was staring right back.

"Awwww, mum look at how they're staring at each other, it's so romantic!" Fiona butted in dreamily.

"I know right!" Stella replied in the same tone.

"We met at restaurant in New York." He said with a small smile.

"Go on" Stella urged.

"I saw her looking beautiful as always." He said playing with his food, tongue in cheek. I decided to play along.

"Awww, thank you baby." I pouted but internally cringed at how we were lying to everyone present. His eyes darted to me sharply as soon as I said that.

Fiona, Jesse and Stella kept giving us dreamy looks while I noticed Tracy roll her eyes while Gerald smiled at us.

"She captured my attention at first glance and I haven't been the same ever since."

I was utterly shocked at how well articulated his lie was.

I stared into his grey orbs just as he stared into my pitch black ones. We stayed locked in that stare down like we were communicating, but I couldn't understand what his eyes were saying to me. They were unreadable, but I knew that gaze said something which I would find out in due time.

"Er erm. It seems like we're getting in the way of something." Fiona teased feigning an innocent face as she broke our stare down.

Jesse smacked her head lightly from behind making her scowl and they started bantering back and forth like kids. It was amusing to watch and we all broke into laughter except Damien who managed a smile.

I wondered if he ever laughed, I really did.

Soon, dinner was over and we settled for dessert. Stella concentrated on me, asking questions about my background and I gave her the truth, fully aware that she would not judge my middle class background.

I was glad that I didn't have to deal with condescending in laws, they were receptive and didn't treat me differently.

I had great talks with Jesse and Fiona all through the night and I didn't want to leave anytime soon but Damien, being the killjoy AKA party pooper just had to ruin it by cutting the night short with the excuse of work and that I had a flight scheduled for the next morning. A flight I wasn't even aware of. Count on him to dampen your spirits and he'll do just that with his impromptu and spontaneous actions.

Unpredictable son of a queen!!!

Yes, I said queen.

Stella kissed me goodnight on the cheek and made me promise to come back the next week to start planning the wedding proper.

She was already making calls by the time we left and planning the wedding was in motion already.

Damien and I left soon after and I went back to being silent as we sat in the vehicle.

The drive went on for a while and I was slowly dozing off.

"I like how you called me baby back there." He said out of the blue, startling me and making me turn red. I said that reflexively, I hoped he wouldn't bring it up but he did.

I bit back a groan and turned away from his teasing eyes.

"You should do it more often." He teased further and my face flushed even more.

He gave a deep dark chuckle at my flushed cheeks. That was a first. I smiled at the thought of amusing him enough to get a chuckle out of him. It was cute.

I dozed off soon after.

Damien's POV; I looked to my left and realized that she was asleep already and she looked so adorable while at it. She had the most adorable pout on her lips as she slept and snored softly. In as much I did not give a damn what my family thought about her, I was somewhat relieved that they welcomed her warmly. Tracy was cold, however. I knew my mother would be over the moon because she was worried that I would never get to settle down. She was of the belief that I was closed off because I had no special someone in my life. I almost rolled my eyes at that, she believed in love and all those mushy stuff way too much. I looked back at Ariana who was getting more comfortable on the chair, moaning softly as she adjusted. This woman is beautiful but I couldn't tell her that, I didn't want her getting any ideas. I was marrying her just for my business and to boost my reputation in the eyes of the world. We had to be the perfect couple but only for the world to see. I couldn't let mys

After my obvious and somewhat embarrassing staring session, Damien led me into the jet. The interiors almost knocked me off my feet. It was so magnificent, I could live in there for the rest of my life. "You can sit now." He said sardonically. That was when I noticed he was already seated with his laptop placed in front of him. I was perplexed. Why was he seating comfortably? I watched one of the air hostesses hoist a black suitcase that obviously wasn't mine into the luggage compartments. "You're coming with me?" I asked dumbly. "What does it look like?" He answered in a clipped tone. "Yeah, sorry." I mumbled, taken aback by his terse response. I sat quietly and buckled up for the ride. We soon took off, I watched him from the corner of my eye as he continued working on his laptop while the plane was in the air. I played games on my phone for a while before drifting off into a short sleep. When I woke up, I had nothing to say to him, neither hi

I got into the vehicle after much deliberation. The whole thing was calling my neighbors' attention, something I had been trying to avoid. "Hey mum! Isn't she that hot guy's fiancée?!" I heard a teenager yell at her unsuspecting mother before I got in. I watched through the tinted glasses as they stared at the car dreamily. Only if they knew... I stared out the window for a while before staring down at my feet. It was then it occurred to me that the driver did not ask for directions before moving the vehicle. The roads were familiar but I did not understand how and why he would just decide to drive me without asking for my permission. "Where are we going?" I asked finally after much contemplation. "The boss said to take you to your father's place ma'am." And how did he know I wanted to go there? Was this man spying on me? Or, was he some creep that knew my every move before I took them? I frowned in distaste. The thought of Damien always having a say in my life more than I did,

Damien's POV; I smirked as soon as I heard her grunt. I had tricked her again. But I had to admit, this woman was really stubborn. I knew she was expecting an apology for what I said the previous day but I honestly did not see anything wrong with what I said. It just was not befitting of my bride to be to live in such a place. "Damien!" I heard her scream. "Yes?" "We're going to have to compromise on my returning to Los Angeles and no, I do not care what you have to say about it but I cannot leave in one week." She stomped her feet with her arms folded across her chest. "Fine. What do you want?" I said, crossing my arms on my chest and leaned back on the chair, facing her squarely. I could tell my reply greatly surprised her and deflated her annoyance. "I'll leave in two weeks but I'll help plan the wedding from here." She said meekly. It was so cute. No, Damien! Stop calling her sweet things in your head. "Okay." I said in response, confusing her even more. "

****My phone was buzzing again. Messages from different people came in from different social platforms, some congratulatory and others shrouded in envy over the fact that I had snagged a rich and dashingly handsome man.All this was overwhelming because before a few days ago I did not know this man existed and now that I had gotten engaged to him, I realized he was well known but for what exactly? I still had not googled him to find out about it. It always skipped my mind.I scrolled through the blogs and found some hateful comments, I shut my eyes and grimaced after reading through a few of them.My phone was taken out of my hand the next minute. I stared at him weakly, I had no energy to argue with him, it was just too exhausting."I'll advise that you do not read through comments on anything out there. It's not good for you." My phone rang late into the night, while I was fast asleep. I moaned and groaned before stretching my hand to pick it up from my night stand. It was about 10pm and I just slept about two hours before. The day had me stressed out, so sleeping early was my only option to forget everything. "Hello?" I mumbled sleepily into the phone. "Oh honey, did I wake you up?" A sweet voice said that sounded really familiar said into my ear. I furrowed my eyebrows and squinted at the brightness of the phone while I checked the caller ID. "Oh hi, Mrs Kingston." I said. "How are you dear?" "I'm well, thank you. How are you?" I yawned in between my statements. "Oh sweetie, I forgot about the time difference,I didn't mean to disturb your sleep. I'm so sorry." She apologized. "Oh no, it's fine. I'm sure you called for something important." I lowkey wanted to hear what she had to say so I would know if I had to travel soon. "Well dear, Damien came home without you and when I asked when you'd

"Ariana?" I heard my name called out faintly, like it was from a distance. My eyes blurred due to the excess light that came through so suddenly. I slowly opened them and was met with Stella's pretty face. "Seems like I'm always waking you up." She said with a tinge of embarrassment on her face. Is it okay to call my future mother in law cute? Cause she's absolutely adorable. I sheepishly smiled at the thought. "Hi," I said groggily just as my hair fell over my face when I sat up. She pushed it out of my way and sat next to me. "How are you sweetie?" "I'm well, how are you?" I answered. "I'm alright." "Your flight?" I asked. "It was just okay." I gave a small shrug. "I heard you came, so I came to check on you." She informed and I grinned. "Awww, that's sweet." She smiled. "Since we have so little time, I have to inform you that we'll be going shopping tomorrow." "Oh." I mouthed. "Where's Damien?" She complimented, eyeing my new beige mono strap body con dress."Thank you." I blushed."You're not looking bad yourself." I said trying to keep cool. My words did no justice, her outfit was just too classy."I try." She said playfully. I chuckled. She drove for a while before she noticed the black Mercedes Maybach behind us."Why do I feel like we are being followed?" She asked with a bit of panic in her tone."Relax. Those are Damien's men." I pacified her, though I was still somewhat irritated by the whole guard thing.

Third Person's POV; Three years later... "Are you kidding?" Damien asked, putting down Damon who had jumped on him the moment he stepped into the house and refused to be set down until they had arrived to meet his mother in the master bedroom. "Carried you for nine months only for you to not just look exactly like your father but also be so attached to him." Ariana had muttered sourly when Damon wouldn't come to her nor Darian who was the more reserved kid. The twins turned out to have more of their father's genes than hers, from the eyes to hair color, down to the nose and almost everything they did was like Damien. She found it more unfair cause they were identical. Now this was what led to the matter at hand. "Irma..." He dragged out, tugging off his jacket before unbuttoning his shirt. "I'm not kidding. I found out today." She said, getting up from the bed as she flipped her hair to the back. "How come?" He was in a maze of shock. "How else do people get pregnant?" She sarc

"I'm tired, I'm so tired." She sobbed, her voice had gone hoarse from all that screaming. She had hair glued to her forehead due to sweat. It broke my heart to see her like this but she still looked so effortlessly beautiful. "Come on babe, we can do this." I encouraged her. She was panting heavily. "You're crowning, you're almost there!" The nurse yelled. She pushed again with all her might, grunting deeply until we heard the first cry of a baby. I wanted to jump and pump my fist in the air until I remembered we still had another baby to think about. She laid down breathing heavily for a minute or so before she pushed hard again at the nurse's instruction and once again, we heard the cry of our second child. Our twins were finally here! Ariana's POV; "Twins?!" Damien looked like he was about to faint. He accompanied me for my doctor's appointment as usual and we just found out that we're expecting twins. I swallowed and blinked rapidly, trying to fight the overjoyed smile that was clawing on to my face. Someone wanted just one but his sperm had other plans. "Ariana, I only agreed to having one baby and now we're going to have two of them?! How?" He loosened a few buttons on his shirt. "I don't have twins in my family so this is definitely your fault." I shrugged, smiling at the doctor as he congratulated us. "Oh well, at least you wouldn't have to bother me for another baby in future." He shrugged. Well that's what he thought but time would tell if I was going to have more kids or not. Damien had been the sweetest though. He carried me like an egg just like everyone else back at the house. Gosh! They wouldn't let me lift a finger after we announced that we were expecting during one of our usual Sunday brunch

Weeks later... I stared down at the beautiful bare bodied woman laying under me that morning. There was something different about her. "Your body's changing." I said plainly, pulling out after I cummed inside her. "What are you talking about?" She asked with a frown. I shook my head. "Nothing at all, just go clean up." I got off her and dragged my pants so I could put them on. I picked up my phone and to do my little research on what I knew about women. She went into the bathroom and came out of the closet in one of my shirts that looked like a dress on her. I watched as she picked up her comb from the vanity and began styling her disheveled hair. "Ariana?" I called out to her. "Yeah babe?" She answered, turning to glance at me before staring back at herself in the mirror. "Are you pregnant?" The comb reflexively dropped from her hand, while she stayed stiff in front of the mirror. "What?" She asked trying to regain her composure. A bit too late, if you ask me. "I asked you
