"Then why me? Why not yourself? Didn't that chubby man ask for perfection? If you were still 'perfect,' he would have paid a fantastic price even though you both did it. Don't think I'm a naive child who can be fooled and doesn't know about your past relationship, which has left your room in shambles."

"It's true that I sold myself that night, but I lost all of this not because I needed the money."

Cecilia was stunned. "So that's why I lost everything. So, what's the point of looking for a difficult job when I have an easier way?"

Cecilia sat down, feeling weak as she listened to Indri's confession. She had no idea that the man who had claimed to love Indri sincerely and whom she had helped unite had actually destroyed Indri to her lowest point in life.

"And do you know who taught me to do all this to make instant money? The man himself. He's the one who found clients for me, helped me, and even set the price for me to the point that now I'm actively seeking customers to fund my mother's medical expenses."

"So, if you don't understand what the problem is, don't ever think about sending your sugar daddies to ruin my life, or I'll tell the whole campus that you're now the sugar baby of an old man," Cecilia firmly stated.

"Don't act like you're innocent or holier than thou, Cecilia!" Indri retorted as she reached for her backpack and left Cecilia in the classroom.

Cecilia sighed deeply, rubbing her own face. She couldn't believe that the girl she had always considered good and innocent harbored so much bitterness in her life.

Cecilia even thought that Indri had been able to maintain her dignity despite often being alone with her lover. Now Cecilia also understood why Indri could afford to wear revealing dresses, which were handed over to her. Because that was the dress Indri used to seduce guests and clients.

"Go away, I don't want to talk right now, especially not about our relationship." Cecilia immediately dismissed Revan, who had just entered her classroom. After talking to Indri and uncovering her friend's dark side, Cecilia had no interest in debating with her ex-boyfriend.

Instead of wasting time, he should find another girl who could commit to a serious relationship.

"It's not about the dowry or money or anything like that. It's about me, who..." Cecilia sighed in frustration, searching for the right words to dismiss Revan without revealing her current identity. "I can't say it right now."

Cecilia grabbed her bag and walked past Revan without saying more. She didn't want to talk too much because she was afraid of slipping up and revealing her true identity. Even though Vano already knew that she and Carlos were married, Cecilia still wanted to protect Carlos's dignity from being labeled as a lustful old man marrying a girl as young as his son.

In order to protect Carlos's reputation, Cecilia gracefully walked away from Revan, even though he wasn't accepting it.

"Do you want to ride home together?" Vano offered when Cecilia arrived at the parking lot. His intention to wait for Carlos there seemed to be abandoned since Vano had already come to pick her up.

"Are you going to your dad's office?" Once again, Vano offered to accompany Cecilia.

But Cecilia smiled and shook her head. "No, I can take a taxi or get a ride from Daddy. I don't want your boyfriend to misunderstand if we go home together." She pointed to Celine, who was in front of a classroom. The girl made it very clear that she didn't like Vano being close to Cecilia.

Instead of causing any more misunderstandings, Cecilia walked ahead of Vano. Unbeknownst to her, Vano was somewhat annoyed because Celine seemed to be controlling his life, even though she knew Cecilia was on their side.

So, it wasn't appropriate for Celine to be jealous of Cecilia. Vano had already explained to Celine that his relationship with Cecilia was just cooperation. He needed Cecilia to save their unclear and directionless relationship.

"You're here already? Dad wants to pick you up." Carlos placed the car keys back on the table when he saw Cecilia arrive. He had planned to pick her up after receiving a guest. If only there hadn't been any guests, Carlos would have picked up Cecilia as soon as lunchtime came.

"Daddy took too long. Instead of waiting, I decided to come here." Cecilia hugged Carlos as she finished locking the classroom door. "Daddy," she murmured, burying her face in Carlos's chest.

"I introduced her to her lover. However, I swear I had no idea that the guy was a scumbag who would ruin Indri and sell her, and now she's using it as an excuse for her mistakes. That's why she used me as a scapegoat to make a lot of money. I never expected it to turn out like this."

"It's not your fault. No matter how much of a scumbag that man is, if she wasn't tempted and could control herself, none of these bad things would have happened. For example, like this." Carlos grabbed Cecilia by the nape of her neck and kissed her passionately. "If you don't like it, you can avoid it and refuse it. Cecilia smiled. "Daddy, you giving an example just makes me want more."

"That's what you want."

Cecilia giggled softly. Her cheeks blushed. "Legally dating is fun, huh, Dad? You can do whatever you want. Even though you want to talk and express your grievances, that annoyance can dissipate easily once we're officially husband and wife."

Of course, Carlos couldn't contain his happiness hearing his wife's words. It sounded adorable to his ears.

"Ugh... why are you laughing, Daddy?" She pinched Carlos's waist.

"Oh, dear," Carlos said as he restrained Cecilia from pinching him. Painful fate, but it tickled so Cecilia knew his weakness. The girl became more and more spirited, tickling Carlos until he lay on the sofa.
