"M-what about mother?" Finally, Cecilia realized that her mother was out there, when Carlos stopped. Digest what happened, outside the room. Even though his desires are taking over and asking to be satisfied.

“Tsk, your mother really is.”

"It's okay... Just leave him there, he'll get tired and he'll go by himself." Holding Carlos back from leaving. Cecilia also pushed him to lie down. Without letting go of the union between them.

This morning Cecilia will pamper Carlos. Taking over the game so that the man bends his knees to him even more... Don't ask again how to be Carlos. Her face hardened. Her lips kept moaning as Cecilia's hips moved. It was irregular because it was the first time he had done it, but it still made Carlos forget himself. Likewise with him. I can't really do it anymore, but the delicious feeling trumps everything.

After going through so much drama when she woke up earlier and finished everything related to the bathroom, now Cecilia was sitting pretty on the edge of the bed.

Indeed, his clothes weren't perfect, only Carlos's shirt covered his tiny body, but it was enough to cover all the knick-knacks that would make Carlos eat it again.

"Daddy, why are you so anxious?" Cecilia was of course curious as to why Carlos had been confused all this time, even though outside Margareth's voice could no longer be heard calling them.

"It's okay, I'm just confused about how to explain it to Vano later. Margareth will definitely ask Vano about you. He must be suspicious why you weren't in the room because we were late."

"If it's Vano's problem, let me handle it. Daddy, just think about how to talk to Mom, because I'm sure right now he's getting ready to get angry at Daddy for ignoring him so far.”

"Your mother doesn't really matter to Daddy. The only thing I can think about is Vano."

"Yes, that's it, I'll take care of Vano. Automatically there is nothing more we need to think about. Now Daddy is going out and later I will follow."

"Are you sure you can take care of Vano?"

"Yes, I'm sure. Leave everything to me. Just as soon as Dad leaves, take Mom to the living room or kitchen. Engage her in conversation, take her wherever, just not to Mom's room. Divert her attention so I can leave this room without her seeing me."

"Is that so?" Carlos was still hesitant because he feared being discovered for sleeping with Cecilia.

"Honey... listen, when I say I can handle Vano, it means I can. As you know, I'm here because I've successfully won over Vano, right? So, if it's just a matter of me disappearing since morning, that's not a problem, as long as I leave this room and don't face Vano. I don't need to explain anything to him because I have my own life and world. We haven't established any relationship yet, except when he officially becomes my boyfriend. Then, I'll have to report everything to him.

Did Dad forget I'm here because Mom invited me, and Vano doesn't know that I'm Dad's weapon to keep him away from Celine? Can, Dad, what I'm saying?"

"You're right." Carlos hugged Cecilia briefly. "Dad will surely miss you. Are you sure you don't want to go to the campus with Dad?"

"Dad, you're being ridiculous. After this, I'll go to campus and then straight to Dad's office. We'll meet again and again. As for going to campus, I'm fine going by myself."

"Yes, but there are several hours that Dad will spend without you."

"Oh, come on, Dad. Usually, we're apart, and Dad doesn't care if I'm close or far from him." Now Cecilia teased Carlos, who seemed more like a child, not wanting to be left by his mother at all.

"Well, that was before Dad became yours."

"Isn't it the other way around? I belong to Dad."

"Same thing, dear." Carlos ruffled Cecilia's hair.

"Dad, I'm already beautiful, you know. Why mess up my hair again?" she protested, tidying her still damp hair..

"Daddy prefers you in a messy state like this." Lifting Cecilia's chin, leaving a slight wet trail there.”

"This could turn into another argument, Dad."

Carlos chuckled. "You're something else."

"Yeah, because Dad turned into a big baby last night. Three times on the horse, aren't you tired?"

Cecilia gently tapped Carlos's knee.

"No, as you know, Dad hasn't done it in years."

"Don't worry, since last night, I'll always be here for Dad and serve my husband well. Even if Dad can't work tomorrow morning."

"Are you sure? You were already complaining because of the soreness."

"W-well, that's because Dad didn't want to stop, even though I just recovered from a cold. But it's okay, whatever makes Dad happy and satisfied, I'll do it."

Cecilia tried to hide that she also yearned for what Carlos wanted.

In reality, both of them were the same. They were both addicted to each other. Newlyweds are always like that.

After going through some unnecessary drama, Carlos finally finished packing. Now, dressed neatly in a navy suit, he was ready to leave the room and meet Margareth, who had been looking for him since morning.

Carlos had no idea what the middle-aged woman wanted because he had completely forgotten to transfer the money Margareth had asked for. If he had remembered to send her the money last night, Margareth wouldn't have been so frantic earlier in the morning. It could be assumed that she had already disappeared to the beauty clinic and to meet Kevin.

Glancing left and right, Carlos quickly descended the stairs. Not finding Vano or Margareth, he decided to find the talkative woman. He didn't want to go back to the second floor and risk bumping into Cecilia, who was now in her room.

"Here you are. I've been looking for you, Carlos. I tried waking you up, but there was no response at all. Are you sleeping or critically ill in there?"

"Don't talk too much. Come with me if you have something important to say."

Margareth hurriedly followed Carlos as he dragged her, like a cat. He didn't allow her to walk gracefully as usual.

"What's wrong with you? You're in such a rush."

"Don't you see it's already 8:30? I'm late, and I don't have time to waste. If you really need me, quickly tell me what you want."

Carlos snapped at Margareth, even though he was the one who broke his promise to her.

"I actually have no business if you had remembered your promise from last night. You said you would transfer the money right away, but until now, not a single penny has been deposited into my account."

"Oh, that." Carlos quickly pulled out his phone from his suit pocket.

"How much do you want? Five hundred, six hundred?"

"Two, two thousand dollars?"

"Alright, done." Carlos sent the amount Margareth requested. "After this, I can't promise to send you such a large amount because I'm about to participate in a big tender that requires a significant capital. I can still give you money, but not in such a large amount."

Carlos quickly corrected his statement before Margareth could start complaining as usual. "Yes, I'll try to make this money last for a week." She started to walk away, but Carlos stopped her.

He was still guessing and trying to figure out if Cecilia had left her room yet or not.

"Well, how about it? Want a good morning kiss?"

"No need, wait here for a moment. I'm trying to remember what I wanted to say to you."

"Alright, but don't take too long." Margareth sat back down on the sofa and waited as Carlos wished. Even though she was impatient to spend the money with Kevin and get her beauty treatments, she also wanted to look young and beautiful.

"Hi..." Cecilia greeted. She had tried to walk as quickly as possible to her room but still ran into Vano. The young man was dressed neatly in his favorite shirt and jeans.

Handsome and fresh, though his face looked a bit melancholic this morning.

"Hi there." Cecilia closed her bedroom door. "Unusual for you to be up at this hour. And why are you wearing Dad's clothes?" he teased, looking Cecilia up and down. He was sure something big had happened to Cecilia last night because she looked very different this morning.

Her face was slightly radiant and brighter than usual. And not to mention that this morning, Cecilia was wearing her father's shirt. If he wasn't mistaken, beneath that oversized shirt, Cecilia wasn't wearing anything else because he could see a faint outline through the material. Vano couldn't take his eyes off Cecilia's damp hair.

"No, nothing's wrong. I'm just going to my room to pack, and later I'm heading to campus."

Vano nodded his head. He wanted to ask, but he couldn't, feeling that Cecilia had truly become a stepmother to him now. However, when he heard someone approaching the stairs, Vano peeked briefly from the edge of the stairs.

To see who was trying to go to the second floor. "Aunt Margareth," he muttered. Quickly, he grabbed Cecilia's hand, preventing her from entering her room. He dragged Cecilia to the threshold of his room.

"What are you doing? How dare you drag me like this. If..."

"Quiet and do as I say."

"W-what are you doing, Vano?" Of course, Cecilia was uncomfortable with this situation. Vano had her cornered between the bedroom door and himself. It was the perfect position to mislead Carlos if he saw them like this. Cecilia didn't understand why Vano was doing all of this. From the beginning, they had no real relationship, and Vano knew that everything they did was just an act.

Cecilia had even told Vano that she and Carlos were already married. She just needed to tell him that she had truly become Carlos's legitimate wife.

"I told my mother that you slept with me. So let me prove to her that I wasn't lying." Vano tilted his head. "Stay still and don't move at all. Let her see that I'm pretending to be kissing you." He whispered directly into Cecilia's ear to avoid any misunderstandings.

Although it was somewhat painful for Vano to see Cecilia coming out of Carlos's room dressed like that, he had to accept the reality that there was no longer any chance for a romantic relationship with her.

This thought crossed his mind every time he argued with Celine. He had tried to follow his father's wishes, to try and build a relationship with Cecilia, but now it was all over and gone. Cecilia could no longer be bothered, and now he could only protect her for his father's sake.

"You two spent the night together, and it's still not enough? You're still being affectionate in public. If it's not enough, please go back to the room and be alone there," scolded Margareth when she saw Cecilia and Vano at the door.

Cecilia furrowed her eyebrows, not really paying attention to what Vano had said earlier because she panicked, fearing Carlos might misunderstand.

Cecilia pushed Vano. "T-this is not what Aunt thinks."

"Whatever you say. Anyway, I'm in a hurry to get to campus," she said as she walked to her room. She tried to ignore the lingering soreness that still gripped her thighs from Carlos's actions last night.

"Look at Cecilia, she's even limping. How many rounds did you go last night?" Margareth observed how Cecilia walked, looking more like a girl who had just lost her virginity. As a woman who had been married before and experienced it, Margareth knew that Cecilia must have done it with Vano.

"If Cecilia is pregnant, you two have to get married. So that Aunt and your dad can follow suit."

Vano smiled thinly. "Don't dream."

"Eh, easy for you to say!! You took away Aunt's seal and now you're talking like this. I don't care, you have to get married right away!" Margareth shouted, chasing Vano.

"What's all this commotion about?"

Carlos addressed Margareth, who was running and yelling at Vano.
