"This, Carlos. Vano said that last night he slept in the same room as Cecilia. I also saw them kissing at the bedroom door." She pointed at Vano, who stopped right in front of Carlos. "Not only that, I also saw Cecilia walking a little funny!"

Carlos swallowed hard. He stared at Vano, who shrugged. He passed by without saying a word, without explaining anything. Carlos wasn't asking for an explanation about Cecilia here. It was about the kissing at the bedroom door and why Vano had mentioned that Cecilia slept in his room when it was clear that Cecilia had slept with him last night.

"Dad, what's wrong?" Cecilia met Carlos, who had just entered her room. This was the first time Carlos had entered her room since she had been living there.

Earlier, Carlos had said he was leaving for the office, but suddenly he appeared and stood right in front of her. His face was stern with reddened eyes. He had also locked Cecilia's room when he entered, as if he didn't care about anyone else. Carlos had come suddenly, as if he wanted something.

"Dad..." Cecilia called out again because Carlos had yet to answer her question.

"Explain what you did with Vano. Didn't you promise to just get close to him and nothing more?!"

“Vano?” Instead of answering Cecilia, she instead asked a question by mentioning Vano's name because she really didn't know where Carlos's question was going at this time.

"Yes, Vano. What did you do with Vano earlier that made your mother say that you and him slept together? Did you go to his room after leaving Daddy's room, Vano..."

" Oh, that." Sitting his ass on the edge of the bed. "I don't understand why Vano told Mom that I slept with her last night and suddenly there was a little incident that made me accidentally fall and Vano caught me so mom saw as if she and I were kissing. But I swear by anything, Dad. I never did what mother accused me of. And earlier I also apologized to Vano for the accident, so after that incident I went straight to my room and packed up to go to campus."

"You are sure?" Carlos raised his eyebrows.

“I'm very sure, Dad. And no one ever hid any secrets from Daddy. As I said, I have stated everything honestly and until now there is nothing more that I have done with Vano other than holding hands. And since marrying Daddy, I haven't touched Vano at all. There just happened to be a bit of an incident that forced me to hug him however, Daddy doesn't need to worry I don't have any feelings for Vano because I love Daddy."

Carlos sighed, he couldn't believe what Cecilia was saying because when compared to Vano of course he was nothing. Vano was much younger than him and of course Cecilia would be proud to introduce everyone that this man was her future husband.

"Could it be with Vano's statement, which said that you slept with him last night?"

"Last night I slept with Daddy. The one who gave up my girlhood was also Daddy.

For Vano later I will question him why he said that I slept with him. Daddy doesn't need to worry, let alone be jealous, after all, Vano and I. I can never fall in love with him because Daddy is enough for me and I no longer need another man to make me happy.”

“Thank goodness that's the case.” Carlos got up from his seat. "Come on, let's go, Daddy will take you to campus."

"Just like that? I don't like Daddy being so curt."

"Who's cranky?"

"Who else if not Daddy."

“Daddy? Just a normal feeling."

"I don't like Daddy like that." Cecilia pursed her lips, turned her back on Carlos, because she didn't want her husband to misunderstand, especially since earlier Margareth had thought that she and Vano were kissing.

But Cecilia really didn't know what was really going on, so Vano did this to her. Luckily Carlos had not seen what they were doing.

If only he saw, he was sure that Carlos would be angry and jealous even though last night they did it and Carlos had really confirmed that he was Cecilia's first man.

However, it is possible that Carlos' jealousy will make him blind and even make false accusations.

Carlos hugged Cecilia from behind resting his head on the girl's neck. "I'm sorry if Daddy was unkind to you. Because to be honest, it didn't feel comfortable at all when Margaret said that you and Vano kissed in front of her room. I am jealous."

Cecilia turned around and hugged Carlos back. "Daddy does not need to be jealous because I love Daddy."

"Are you sure you'll never betray Daddy and you won't hide any secrets that could harm our marriage?"

"Of course, Dad. I'll do anything to convince you that my love is sincere."

Carlos nodded, stroking Cecilia's back. "Let's go to campus!"

"Maybe you should go ahead, Daddy. I can take a taxi later. I don't want Vano to suspect our relationship."

"That's not possible. Anyway, in his eyes, Daddy is your future stepfather. It's only natural for Daddy to take you to campus."

"Okay, dear, let's go to campus." Cecilia finally gave in when Carlos insisted on taking her to campus. After all, Vano already knew they were a married couple. So there was nothing to worry about anymore.

The only issue was how to explain to some people why she always arrived in a luxury car. Carlos, being much older than her, would undoubtedly lead many to make negative judgments about him and Carlos.

Cecilia didn't mind if people thought she was a sugar baby, but she couldn't bear it if her husband was called an older man who didn't know his place by having a young college student as a lover. That was the only reason Cecilia had reservations about Carlos picking her up, nothing more and nothing less.

Once they arrived at the campus, Cecilia gave her husband a farewell kiss, waving goodbye as he headed to the office.

After her classes, as usual, Cecilia would join Carlos at his office. She had no intention of going home, even though she was tired after a day at the university. She just wanted to be with Carlos at his office.

"Cecilia, I want to talk to you!" Indri immediately dragged Cecilia to the back of the campus, where there was a long-unused classroom.

Indri wanted to have a serious conversation with Cecilia to fulfill her desire. If yesterday Indri had asked Cecilia with still-raw emotions, now she had thought about how to get Cecilia to help her.

"What do you want to ask me that you had to drag me like that earlier?" Cecilia complained. She still harbored a great deal of anger towards Indri, but considering their close and long-standing friendship, she tried not to bring up the topic again.

Cecilia regarded it all as a mistake, and she was willing to give Indri a second chance. However, she was getting annoyed because Indri didn't realize that her thighs still hurt when she walked quickly, as she had done earlier.

Instead of explaining directly, Indri knelt in front of Cecilia, crying uncontrollably and repeatedly apologizing.

"Don't do this. Just tell me what you want. If I can help, I will." Cecilia helped Indri to her feet and sat her down beside her. "Let's talk about this calmly, and as for what happened yesterday, I've already forgiven you, so there's no need to dwell on it, as long as you don't repeat it."
