Meanwhile, Silvi and Devin listened to the doctor's explanations during the examination. Silvi's pregnancy was already at three weeks. The doctor prescribed vitamins and anti-nausea medication since Silvi mentioned she often felt dizzy and nauseous. Devin didn't ask any questions because it was his first time in a obstetrician's office. He was confused about how to react. Silvi was the one who asked all the questions.

Silvi got her next appointment scheduled, and then they left. Devin and Silvi went to the hospital's pharmacy to pick up the prescribed medicines first. Then, Devin asked Silvi where she wanted to go.

"I don't know. I just feel like lying down in my room."

"Why's that? Don't you want to go out together?" Devin asked softly. They were now in the car. "How about having ice cream and buying some new sleepwear for you?"

"What's the point of buying sleepwear?"

"Because you're pregnant, and I want you to sleep comfortably. How about it?"

"I don't want to," Silvi said, making Devin increasingly frustrated with the woman beside him.

"May I ask?" Devin stared intensely at Silvi, causing her to hesitate in responding to his sharp gaze. "Why did you mention my name as the father of the child in your womb, Silvi?" The question made Silvi anxious. She couldn't tell Devin the truth. Saying that the child she carried belonged to Aryan, Alesya's husband, was out of the question.

"Why are you silent, Silvi?"

"I'm sorry," that's all Silvi said. She also looked into Devin's eyes this time. Then, unexpectedly, Devin gently kissed her lips. Silvi felt the longing she had suppressed for so long being fulfilled. This is what she wanted.

Their kiss continued, and Silvi, who had been silent, responded softly to what Devin was doing. "Listen to me, Silvi. I don't care about your reasons for saying that I'm the one who fathered the child in your womb, as long as it brings you back to me, I'll accept it," Devin said, leaving Silvi stunned.

"I just hope that when you're ready, you'll tell me who really did this to you. Not because I want him to replace me, but so I can be more cautious if he comes and tries to take you away from me," Devin said, making Silvi happy. The feelings she had kept hidden for so long were no longer containable. Tears rolled down Silvi's cheeks, and Devin hugged her.

"I'm sorry," Silvi said in the embrace of her ex-husband.

"I'll forgive you, as long as you agree to marry me again," Devin stated his intention, leaving Silvi confused about how to respond. She still loved Devin, but she wasn't sure if marrying him again was the right thing to do, especially since the baby in her womb wasn't Devin's.

"Okay, because you're just staying silent. I'll give you time, and during that time, I'll take you out," Devin started the car's engine and left the hospital parking lot.

Devin actually took Silvi to a large and well-known mall. Holding Silvi's fingers, he continued to walk with her, sharing many stories along the way. "Let's have dinner first; it's already dinnertime," Devin suggested. Silvi nodded her agreement to having dinner.

Devin took Silvi to a Korean restaurant. He chose the menu for Silvi, explaining that she shouldn't eat just anything while pregnant. Such attention touched Silvi's heart, and she was happy because Devin cared about her. She couldn't understand what had caused this man to change so drastically.

After the meal, Devin truly took Silvi shopping for some comfortable sleepwear. He even selected pajama models for Silvi himself. Devin felt awkward when the store employee showed Silvi some lingerie models. Silvi's teasing made Devin even more embarrassed, but in the end, Devin also chose several lingerie models that he liked for Silvi to wear.

"Why so many?" Silvi protested when she saw how much Devin had bought.

"Treating my wife occasionally isn't wrong, is it?"

"Devin, we're divorced," Silvi replied.

"Soon, you'll be mine again," Devin said confidently, which left Silvi speechless as she watched the expression on Devin's face. He seemed overly sweet, something she had longed for in the past.

Devin took Silvi to buy ice cream. When Silvi began eating her ice cream order, she was surprised to find a ring inside it. Fortunately, the ring didn't end up in her stomach.

"Devin, look at this," Silvi said, showing the ring to Devin, who was already kneeling in front of her.

"I know I made mistakes in the past that led me to leave, but now, would you marry me again? I truly love you, Silvi," Devin said while on his knees before her. Many onlookers stared at them, making Silvi feel embarrassed.

"Devin, I'm embarrassed, please stand up."

"I won't until you answer me first." Silvi hesitated, biting her lower lip as she gazed at the wedding ring she once wore when she married Devin.

"I love you, Devin," Silvi finally said, and Devin immediately stood up to hug her. He was truly happy because his goal would be achieved soon. What exactly that meant, they would find out later.

Silvi was incredibly happy, and Devin repeatedly kissed her forehead and cheeks. "I promise to take care of you and make you happy," Devin said, making Silvi smile even more. Devin then invited Silvi to return to her parents' house. Once they arrived, Silvi's parents were in the living room. Silvi told them that she and Devin had agreed to remarry. Mama and Papa Silvi were overjoyed to hear this, especially since Silvi explained that Devin would take full responsibility for her pregnancy.

Not wanting Silvi's belly to grow too big, they decided to get married again in a week. Silvi and Devin agreed, and Devin held Silvi's hand tightly. This time, they would leave the wedding preparations to a team recommended by Silvi's mother. However, the Silvi family wanted the event to be grand and luxurious, even though they had been married before. To Silvi's parents, it didn't matter.

"Mom will send you choices for the wedding dress you'll wear, as well as some traditional outfits."

"Yes, Mom," Silvi replied.

"Oh, by the way, what color theme do you want for the decorations?" her mother asked. Silvi looked at Devin, waiting for his answer.

"I'm okay with anything, as long as the bride remains you," Devin replied with a smile. Their laughter filled the room, and Silvi blushed with embarrassment. Little did she know that Devin's intentions weren't as genuine as they seemed.

That night, Silvi's mother immediately contacted a renowned wedding organizer in their city to come to their house the next day. She also called her trusted designer to set up a meeting. Silvi was amazed by her mother's enthusiasm. Devin was also tasked with contacting his family, and he would do that tomorrow. Marrying Silvi was easy for Devin because everything was being taken care of by Silvi's parents. He just needed to act loving and caring towards Silvi.

Devin was surprised when Silvi handed him a piece of paper and a pen. "What are these for?" he asked.

"For the guest list, who do you want to invite? My mom mentioned that we'll have a traditional ceremony," Silvi explained gently as she accepted the paper and pen. Devin's family was smaller compared to Silvi's. "Oh, and my dad's secretary has already booked a hotel room for you. I'll send you the address and reservation number to your phone. Do you want to be driven there, or would you prefer to use my car?"

"I'll take your car if you don't mind. Is that okay?"

"Of course, I think it's better. So, tomorrow when we go to see the wedding dresses, you can come directly to the boutique," Silvi replied, and Devin smiled. He hugged Silvi and thanked her. There was something strange when Devin hugged Silvi this time, a profound sense of guilt, and he didn't want to disappoint Silvi if his lies were exposed.

As it was already late at night, Devin said his goodbyes and went to the hotel that had been booked for him. He drove Silvi's car, and she didn't mind at all. Silvi entered her room, not expecting that she and Devin would be back together. Silvi slept soundly that night.

The next morning, as expected by Silvi, many people had come to their house because her mother wanted everything to be prepared quickly. Silvi was asked to review magazines featuring various wedding themes and decoration ideas. Her mother also asked if Silvi wanted to have the wedding outside of town, like in Bali, but Silvi declined. She wanted to keep it local, and she wanted the wedding to be elegant. After agreeing on the location, theme, and a color scheme of white roses mixed with shades of pink, Silvi also requested that the event be held outdoors.

For the wedding reception, it will indeed be held outside, and for the ceremonial bath (siraman) event, they will use the hotel's ballroom. Silvi's mother preferred not to bother with various preparations, as everything would be readily available at the hotel. Silvi's father could call his business contacts to arrange special rooms for their family and relatives. Silvi agreed with this plan and asked for permission to return to her room.

Inside her room, Silvi felt nauseous and ended up vomiting her breakfast. In such a condition, Silvi's mood was understandably not great. There was a knock on the door, but she was still in the bathroom due to her nausea. Devin, who had come over, heard the sounds of Silvi vomiting and immediately looked towards the bathroom. He saw the woman he was about to marry again looking extremely tired. This time, Devin genuinely helped Silvi by rubbing her back. Devin's presence in the bathroom startled Silvi, and she felt embarrassed that he saw her in such a state.

"It's alright, Devin. I'm fine," Silvi said.

"What do you mean 'fine'? You were vomiting, and you look pale," Devin replied. He fetched some water for Silvi and handed her tissues. He held Silvi's hair back to ensure it didn't get soiled. After she felt better, Silvi's weak legs made her stumble. Without hesitation, Devin picked her up and carried her. Silvi looked at Devin, the man she was about to remarry, with surprise. A blush crept onto her face as Devin smiled.

"You two, who are about to get married again, are so romantic," Mama Silvi commented as she entered the room. She wanted to show Silvi some wedding invitation designs and also saw Devin carrying her daughter.

"Mom, can you handle everything for us? I'm feeling really sick," Silvi requested.

"Of course, dear. You just rest here with Devin. I just wanted to show you the invitation designs. Which one do you prefer? Also, I'd like Devin to provide a list of the relatives you'd like to invite."

"Alright, Aunt," Devin replied.

"Don't call me 'aunt' anymore, Devin. Just call me 'Mom,'" she said. Hearing this, Devin nodded in agreement. "Okay, Mom," he said, and both women in the room laughed.

Silvi showed them one design that she thought was nice, and Devin agreed with her choice. Mama Silvi then left the room to meet with her assistant, who would take care of the invitation cards. Mama Silvi had an assistant to handle various tasks for her.

Having completed almost all the preparations, Mama Silvi now made a call to the catering service. She didn't want to select food haphazardly, especially since they would also have a ceremonial bath event attended by many guests. She wanted to ensure everything was perfect, so she discussed the menu over the phone. After the call, the still-beautiful woman, despite her age, prepared to go to the catering place to sample the selected dishes. She wanted to taste the food personally before finalizing the order.

After changing her clothes, Mama Silvi went to Silvi's room to inform her that she would be going to arrange the catering. Silvi was still asleep, and Devin was quietly sitting by her side, gazing at her peaceful sleeping face. The woman he was going to remarry was sound asleep, and Devin's heart swelled with affection for her. He hoped that this time, Devin and Silvi's marriage would go smoothly, unlike before.

"Devin, when Silvi wakes up, please tell her that Mama is going to the catering place. I want to order the catering for the wedding reception and the ceremonial bath (siraman) for Silvi," Mama Silvi instructed.

"Alright, Mom, take care, and thank you for going to such great lengths to organize our wedding."

"No problem at all, dear. Mama actually enjoys doing this."

Devin escorted his future mother-in-law to the terrace of the house. After she left, he returned inside. He decided to call his parents. Walking to Silvi's balcony, Devin made the call to his mother's number. His mother, who had given birth to him, answered the call cheerfully.

"Where have you been, Devin? Mama asked around at your factory, and they said you've been gone since yesterday."

"Sorry, Mom. Devin went to the city to meet Silvi."

"Silvi? Your ex-wife?" she asked.

"Yes, Mom. That's right."

"Why do you want to meet her?"

"Mom, Devin and Silvi are getting married again." There was silence from his mother, and Devin knew she must be shocked to hear that. "Mom, can you hear Devin?"

"Yes, Mama heard. Mama is surprised because you've decided to get back together, even though you got married just a day ago. Mama just hopes that this time you'll think carefully because a marriage is not something to play around with."

"Yes, Mom, thank you. Please tell Dad as well. All the wedding preparations have been taken care of by Silvi's family." Devin heard his mother sigh wearily. Perhaps she thought everything was happening too quickly, and they didn't have any preparations from the groom's side.
