Howlers #1

The rogues' howls sounded noisy in the cold darkness of the forest. It was as if they had just found easy prey and were preparing to feast. Alpha Alaric had not heard that long, merry howl for a long time, and tonight he heard it again but with a sense of disturbance and burning anger.

From the top of the hill, Alaric looked out over the valley where the rogues would be partying. In an instant the brawny man changed his form and his fangs protruded with a deadly grin of rage.

His yellow eyes blazed incandescent and his huge feet darted over the cold snow. Every piece of ground it walked on trembled as if to hint at the immense power and fury lodged within it. The big wolf continued to run for time, darting towards the source of the howl and not wanting to let its prey be ruined by those damn rogues.

Alpha Alaric loved this scent and knowing that the source of the scent was already in the clutches of several rogues, his rage escalated rapidly and crazily. He tore into the rogue closest to his reach, throwing it against the rock wall causing it to crumble and the wild wolf howled in pain and died in its wake. Its fangs sunk into the neck of another rogue and killed it instantly. Four rogues who were licking blood from a woman's neck stopped as Alaric approached with his yellow eyes blazing.

One rogue seemed aware of Alaric's intimidating alpha status, but the rogue seemed unafraid and prepared to launch an attack on Alaric.

"Don't touch him! That's my prey!" Alaric shouted at the pack of rogues who were undisturbed by his presence.

"First come, first served! You shouldn't have interrupted us having fun!" retorted a rogue who stood out among them.

"Apparently you're brave enough to fight me, damn it! I'll break your neck!" Alaric hissed with a fiery glare. In the next second the claws of his sharp nails had already ripped the rogue's face short. Not only that, Alaric then bit down on the rogue's neck and tore at it in annoyance.

The three remaining rogues looked terrified and backed away slowly, next they ran away in a huff, feeling that if they tried to fight Alaric, they would be as suicidal as his friend. A flash of anger and fear mingled in the rogues' eyes. They did not like having their party interrupted and having to hand it over to an alpha just like that. But what the hell, they had already lost before the fight.

Now the valley was desolate with three gruesome rogue carcasses. Alaric quickly approached the dying young girl and licked every drop of blood from the open wound with a strange feeling. There was a relief that eased Alaric's anger when he realized that this human girl hadn't had a single bite taken out of her by the rogues. There were only numerous scratches all over her body and a neck that continued to bleed. That's much better, he thought. Alaric liked this scent, the scent of a sweet and seductive human girl, but not to devour her.

"Mate, hang on," Alaric said softly. The young girl lay on the ground with her clothes completely torn off.

Alaric transformed back into a handsome, naked man and carried the dying girl in his arms. The cold snow did not stop them from running in the frozen darkness of the forest. Alaric took the young girl to a dark cave and laid her down on the dry leaves scattered on the cave floor.

Alaric praised the girl's resilience, the girl's heart should no longer be able to beat considering how brutal the rogues' attacks were. But the girl was still alive with a weak beat and equally slow breathing.

"I must quickly share my strength with you so that you can survive, Mate. I won't let you die," Alaric whispered in the girl's ear.

The alpha kissed the human girl's lips repeatedly, caressing the beautiful pale face gently and adoringly. As if remembering something, Alaric stopped caressing the human girl and quickly transformed into a large wolf.

Alaric exited the cave towards the North, the direction where his pack was located. The redwoods scattered along the road to the Silver Hammers Pack witnessed the wolf's running speed and made the ground tremble. Once he reached the pack, his first destination was the medical room where all kinds of medicines were available.

"Sir, what do you need?" asked an Omega-level waiter. The waiter seemed surprised by Alaric's worried and hurried expression.

"Black nightshade, give me a bottle," Alaric replied hurriedly.

The omega took a bottle of the concoction requested by Alaric and gave it to the alpha. Alaric accepted it and bit the bottle in his jaws then darted out quickly.

Beta Tala happened to pass right in front of the medical room and was hit by Alaric until his body bounced off. Beta Tala winced in pain and Alaric paid her no mind at all. He didn't care about the astonishment of every member of his pack. His only goal at the moment was the human girl.

Alaric transformed back into his human form once he reached the cave. His breathing was labored and worry was evident on his handsome face. Gently and deftly, the alpha applied Black Nightshade liquid to each of the human girl's cuts.

"I've put a spell on this potion, I hope your wounds dry out soon and you can recover." Alaric looked at the girl he called 'Mate' and kissed her softly and soulfully on the lips again.

The potion was working as Alaric had hoped. The human girl began to slowly regain consciousness although she could not yet open her eyes. Her wounds began to dry up and the pain gradually disappeared. Alaric continued to fondle the girl and the situation became increasingly heated. The Alpha was completely intoxicated by the sweet scent emanating from the human girl.

"Mate, your scent tells me that you are my destiny," he whispered in the girl's ear. The girl heard what Alaric said.

"The potion is working, you just need a little of my power to complete the regeneration. I will share it," Alaric continued in a very soft whisper.

Alaric's increasingly hot fondling made the girl very disturbed but she could not get up to resist. Her body was completely helpless as Alaric performed the union without her consent. The deliciously strange sensation of Alaric's actions made the human girl float and feel her body become much lighter after Alaric's first release. Her eyes opened slightly and coincidentally Alaric's eyes glowed with a warm yellow flame.

The human girl groaned as Alaric's fangs bit into her shoulder long enough to leave a meaningful bite mark. A sign of ownership. Alaric sank down beside the girl with a gasp and a pleasant contentment. The alpha kissed his girl's lips again and again.

Meanwhile after the collision incident in front of the medical room with Alaric, Tala followed where the alpha went by disguising her pheromones so that Alaric would not suspect anything. Now, the Beta was silent with a look of jealousy and disappointment after observing the two from outside the cave.
