“I will not have you ruin things for me today. Get this into your thick skull, if anything goes wrong today, I’m going to make you suffer.” Jackson’s voice raised and the eyes of the maids in the kitchen lingered on us

I bit my lips, trying to push back the tears. This was so humiliating, this wasn’t right.

Jackson looked really upset. He was flaring red in anger, his brown eyes expressed nothing but anger.

I looked down at the bowl of food that had slipped and had fallen to the ground.

“You're always so clumsy but not today.” He was upset, veins threatened to pop out of his head as he yelled.

Breath, Rose, breath. I calmed myself down. I was not going to cry in front of all the maids, I am their Luna. It would be shameful for them to see me cry but what was more shameful than being humiliated by my own mate and husband in front of all the servants over a broken bowl of food.

“Clean this mess up now.” He commanded, I dare not utter a word, it would only make him angrier.

I bent to the ground and began to pick up the broken glass on the floor. The moment he walked out of the kitchen, the maid who had actually broken the bowl rushed towards me and she immediately began to pick the broken glass up.

“I’m so sorry, Luna. I should have been careful.” Her body shook in fear and her voice was cracked, her actions were full of remorse as she picked the shattered glass up.

“Please Luna forgive me.” She was almost crying, everyone in the kitchen was speechless and it was because I took the blame. If I hadn’t taken the blame, the maid would have lost her job. I know Jackson too well.

“It’s alright, dear. Be more careful next time.” I had tears in my eyes but I held it in. It would be a shame.

“Head maid, I hope everything is ready, we do not have time.” I asked and the older woman nodded, it was only a way to deviate them from thinking about what had happened.

“Everything is ready, Luna.”

“That’s good, I'll freshen up. You guys should do the same. The party is starting soon and I need everyone to be coordinated.” With that I walked out of the kitchen

I am Roselyn Ethel the Luna of Rabid Shadow Pack, but before I became Luna I was the homeless orphan girl nobody wanted in the pack and then I found out I was mated to the Alpha, it was surprising he accepted me. I mean I was a nobody but he accepted me and got married to me. He told me I was his breeder, I would give him children as that was the reason why he was getting married to me.

I walked into my room to have a quick shower and get ready for the party.

Jackson was in the room and he was getting ready. He had put on the pants of his suit, his hair was a bit messy but he was already looking good in just his pants.

Jackson was a very attractive man. He was very tall and he had beautiful curly brown hair, his eyes had a bubbly brown shade that matched his skin tone, he had the perfect physique he was well built and very strong, his beautiful short beard gave him out as the most handsome in the pack and his beauty was one of the reasons I wondered why he got married to me. I mean I am a nobody and he could have any girl he wanted. He is the alpha.

“What are you looking at? He asked and I snapped myself out.

“Nothing, I just thought that you shouldn't have spoken to me in the way you did, there were a lot of maids around.” I was casually explaining how I felt.

“Why? Do you feel humiliated?” he stared disgustingly at me.

“Jackson, I am your wife and your Luna, the more you give people the impression that I am a nobody, the more they look down at you.”

“Don't they already look down at me? Aren't you a nobody?” he asked, I could hear the irritation in his voice.

“Jackson.”

“I do not care if you feel hurt Roselyn, and maybe if you can just give this pack an heir people won't have a reason to look down on you. Please don't forget that you are a nobody, a rejected orphan that I got married to for the sole purpose of bearing me a child and it's been three years and you've not even had a miscarriage.” my heart broke into pieces, it was not the first time he was saying this to me, I should be used to it by now so why does it still hurt.

“Now get ready, we do not have all the time in the world.”

I walked out, I hated whenever we spoke about this, it always sent this sharp pain. The fact that I was barren and couldn’t give him a child added to the plenty of reasons why I am a nobody.

I was finally ready, I wore a blue gown that matched Jackson’s suit, I looked pretty stunning, my curves were the most highlighted and I had curled up my hair and fluffed it out to give it much volume, I had little makeup on and I was good to go but I did look sad. One look at the mirror and my brown eyes were covered in pain, if no one else could see it, I could.

I walked out of the room so I could catch up with Jackson as the party was about to start.

We were holding our annual moon festival and we had really important guests, alphas, high ranked werewolves and warriors from different packs.

I was running late. The opening speech should have started a while back but it was definitely time for us to be introduced and announced.

I got to the ballroom and as I walked in I saw Jackson out there, he was being announced and he couldn't wait for me. We are mates and our arrival ought to be announced at the same time. I didn't even want to think about it, it wasn’t the first time he was doing this, I was more of a hidden secret, he hated showing me to people.

The party was on for a while, couples were dancing, some were cheering, the ball room was filled with light and the cheering of happy people melody, the party was really fun and I would have enjoyed it, if my day hadn’t already been ruined.

“Luna?” Beta Klein called as I was seated on the chair watching everyone have fun.

“Yes, Beta.” I tried to pull up a smile.

“Do you know where Alpha is? Some Alpha’s have arrived and they want to see him.”

“I don’t know, Beta. I thought he was with you.”

“No, Luna.”

“I’ll look for him then.” I got up from my seat, left the ballroom and began to look for him.

As I walked along the lobby, there was a sharp pound on my chest followed by a crazy burn in my chest region. I wanted to yell so loud but I didn’t want to cause a nuisance and besides I should have gotten used to the pain, it was Jackson, he was having sex with someone else. I should get used to it cause he does it a lot but I cannot.

As I walked through the lobby, I heard loud grunts and moans, I didn’t want to but I found myself going to the door. I stood there for a while and the only thing I could do was cry. The pain in my chest was increasing by seconds , so I pushed the door open and saw him. He had his cock in the lady’s pussy.
