CHAPTER THIRTY NINE

"Crystal, put it on. I can't leave you alone in this house, everyone's going to school" I said trying to convince her to put on the school uniform that was on the bed

"What if we get attacked on the way?" She asked

"Try and be positive for once please. That can't happen, especially not in this area" I explained

There was a knock on the door and I ordered the person to come in. It was Zeenat

"David aren't you coming or what? We are late!" She yelled

"Go with Asher or Austin" I said

"Asher left already and there's no way I'll go with Austin.....he's a pest" she rolled her eyes

"I'm not sure I'll be early to school today, just go with Zubby and Trey" I said and she walked out, closing the door behind her

"Why don't you just go since they are waiting for you, I'll come later on. Afterall I'm always late" Crystal said

"No!! I'm going with you and I'm not asking!" I said
