CHAPTER FORTY FIVE

I ran into the unfamiliar local hospital and met the nurse that called earlier. She was waiting by the counter for me to show up

"Where is she?" I asked panting

The nurse rather accessed me from head to toe with her eye and had a confused kook on her face

"You are the David??" She asked and I got irritated

"Isn't that the boy we just saw on TV?? Look at his school uniform na...." The other nurse that was seated and typing said

What does all these have to do with Crystal? Why did she put her mouth in what is definitely not her business?

"Please just take me to her ward" I said

"Alright, come with me" the nurse said and turned to leave....I followed her behind

Room number 28

I entered to see a severely injured Crystal on the hospital bed, her eyes were closed. Everywhere was stuffy and it reeked of blood

She was struggling to breathe....

"Why haven't the doctor started any treatment on her yet?" I asked

"We tried our best but we also need funds...."

"Funds??" I interrupted
