CHAPTER FORTY THREE

He stared at Trey, then slowly looked at me with suspicions written all over his face

I felt like stabbing myself!! Zubby is very smart, he might find out something but refuse to talk

"Trey---urrr---you're here!" He lightened the mood

"Yeahh, sorry for not letting you guys know" Trey replied boldly

"Well, Trey just got here. He said he was at his aunt's place, he just stopped by to give me the chocolates that he bought for me" I lied

"Ohhh....that's cool, we can both stay and hang out with her" Zubby suggested

"NO!!" We both said in a sync

"I mean there's a message that needs to get delivered to my dad from my aunt. Unfailingly, this evening" Trey said

"Okay I'll see you later then" Zubby said and Trey left immediately

"Let's go! And tell me everything that happened" he said to me and I got scared.

My heart skipped a bit and for some reason, I didn't want to talk to Zubby, because he would surely bring out the truth somehow even though I'm not willing to talk now!
