Abhishek walks in without me inviting him to.

He sat on the bed and said he had heard Karan booking a hotel for tonight and that he wanted us to follow him.

I nodded and asked how.

He suggested we were a disguise and come after Karan.

We got outside after some time. Everyone was asleep and that allowed us to sneak out of the house.

Karan stopped a taxi that took us to the hotel.

Star hotels.

That was the name of the hotel Karan had booked a night in.

I rode in with Abhishek and we went to the front desk.

The receptionist asked us if we would want a room, Abhishek and I eyes were both busy, so we were unable to answer her.

She slammed her hands on the table and we immediately regained consciousness.

She asked us if we needed a room again. I looked at Abhishek and he nodded asking her to book a room for us.

He grabbed my hands, I looked at him and noticed he was giving me a sign.

I couldn't understand at first but eventually, I got to know that he wanted me to spill the lady's coffee on the table.

I blinked my eyes and maneuvered my way into her cup of coffee.

It spelled all over, she gets a little aggressive but manages to calm herself down.

The lady turned her back searching for a towel, Abhishek immediately grabbed a hardcover note and read through the guests who just lodged into the hotel.

I kept a lookout, luckily he found Karan's name and we immediately ran into the elevator.

It took us to the tenth floor of the building. Room number 13th.

There was music coming from inside the room.

Abhishek asked me to be on the lookout while he walked away.

Karan wasn't in the hotel room, however seeing that his name had been registered, he was around somewhere.

Abhishek spent a lot of time in there, I held the doorknob and walked in.

The room was dark, I Whispered Abhishek's name but no response.

When suddenly, the light came on, I turned and found Abhishek pointing a gun to his head.

He looked at me, I noticed he kept moving his hands for me to leave.

I thought of doing that however, I faked it all but grabbed a vase at the hotel's table and tossed it to the man's head.

He falls and Abhishek grabs the man and hits him.

We both tied him up. He looks feeling dizzy.

"Tell me where is Karan?".

Abhishek asked.

The man refused to speak. He folded his mouth and looked away.

Abhishek knew he wasn't going to speak, he took out a sharp metal on the ground and pierced him with it.

He grunts holding back a little of the pain.

I ran to the door and saw Karan approaching.  I came back inside and told Abhishek we needed to leave.

He didn't want to at first, however, he did it anyway

We got to the door, I looked out and when Karan stopped to pick up his phone, we ran into the elevator.

We got back together and caught Mrs. Anuradha just coming out of the kitchen.

She had this glare on her face like I took her son to someplace forbidden.

Abhishek greeted her, she answered using her stomach and turned to face me.

"Where did you take my son,"

She tries to come after me, but Abhishek takes her back.

"Calm down Mom, I was the one that took her out,".

He accepted the fault.

She however refused to believe and warned her son to stay clear of me

Abhishek apologized for his mom's behavior and like a gentleman walked me to my bedroom.

The next morning, I got outside to have a smell of fresh air when I saw a lady walking in.

She ran to Abhishek the moment she saw him walking out of his bedroom.

"Whoa, pinky, what are you doing here?".

He pulled her away.

I looked back and saw the surprise on his countenance.

Mrs. Anuradha saw her and gave a warm welcome, while doing that she made sure her gaze met mine.

I grinned and walked outside.

I came in afterward, I saw lots of luggage being carried in.

Avanti dragged me back and I fell meeting her gaze.

"Hey! Where have you been?".

She gets worried.

I smiled and said I had gone for a little sightseeing alone in the city.

Avanti thanked God I didn't miss my way home and we both walked into her room.

I was so curious to know who Pinky was. Avanti explained and said, Pinky is Abhishek's finances.

They had both been engaged for two months now.

No wonder, Mr.s Anuradha gave me such a look...

I spent some hours talking with Avanti when news came that M...rs Anuradha had an announcement.

We both came down and Mrs. Anuradha took Avanti away and announced that Karan wished to get engaged to her, In one week.

Wait for what?.

Abhishek rose immediately to second the decision. Unfortunately, the in-laws had the authority and not them.

Avanti rushed outside immediately. I went after her and found her crying alone in the garden

She sees me coming and wrapped herself in my arms.

"What going to happen when everyone knows the truth?".

She complained.

Abhishek came in before I got a chance to speak and made a promise that nothing bad was going to happen.

We both shared a look and he asked me to take his sister to her room.

I obeyed and left with her.

I  caressed her hair while he slept.

It's surprising because, for the first time, my best friend feared it.

How do I save her from getting married to Karan?

And what will happen when the truth of her being raped comes to light.

I may not know about Indian culture, but I don't think it will be a light topic when the truth has been exposed.

How will her family react to the news and who could have done this?
