Hidden truth

The entire family was shamed in front of the news reporters.

Abhishek asked them to leave, Avanti couldn't contain the pain and so pushed herself out of the crowd.

I ran after her and while trying to cross the room, she almost got knocked down by an oncoming vehicle.

I pulled her out on time and she fell on my shoulders and cried.

The entire family ran outside to meet us, Abhishek pushed the reporters away and they all got into their vehicles forcefully.

Mrs. Anuradha came and took her daughter from me. She walked her Inside and we all followed one after the other.

Avanti was sent to her bedroom. I walked into my mind room to think, there was something strange about what happened.

Who would inform the reporters of such a hidden truth about Avanti?

Perhaps is Karan doing this?, I'll have to find out.

I picked up my jacket and ran out of the mansion without anyone knowing, I got into a taxi and told the driver to take me to Pratap's police station.

It took me there and after a while, I walked in to see Karan, thankfully I got permission from the inspector.

I was taken to Karan's cell.

"Hello, Karan,"

I walked before him.

He lifted his head and saw me.

"Hello Avanti's friend," he gets up from the ground, " so tell me, what do I hold owe this pleasure?".

He grabbed the cell bar.

I laughed a little and said.

"Please tell me something Karan, what happened between Abhishek and your sister,".

Karan goes quiet.

"Who told you about that," he spoke up.

I got out the information that I overheard from Abhishek and his mom.

Karan sits down on the ground again, he looks down, and just when he is about to tell the whole truth.

A hand grabbed my wrist and turned me back.

I looked up and saw Abhishek's angry face.

"What are you doing here,"

He says infuriated with me.

Karan immediately began to laugh. He tells Abhishek why I came to visit, Abhishek looks at me with so much rage and drags me out of the police station.

We got back home and he pushed me forward, causing a scene.

Everyone ran outside the minute they heard his voice. Avanti came and saw what was happening.

She comes in and asks.

Abhishek asked her not to Interfere and he left.

Mrs. Anuradha goes after her son.

Avanti grabbed my hand and dragged me into her room, she slammed the door hard and demanded an explanation.

Is telling Avanti the truth a good thing?

Because If I do, she might end up causing a whole new scene at home.

And by that, I had no choice but to lie.

I told her that, Abhishek found me talking to a man that almost ran away with my purse.

Avanti wanted to believe first, however, she shook her head and walked me outside.

I got to my room and met someone else waiting for me.

Mrs. Anuradha walked up to meet me standing at the door, she grabbed my hands and sat me down on the bed.

"Tell me something javelin, do you want to destroy my family?"

She looked at me.

I got up from the bed and pulled away from her.

"What do you mean?" I turned my back on her.

She got angry and pulled me back to her gaze, Mrs Anuradha demanded an explanation from me. She asked why I had gone to the police station.

There wasn't any need to lie, I pulled her hands from hurting me and told her the truth, which learned from the conversation between her and Abhishek.

"Seriously!,"

She laughed at me.

There was something strange about her behavior, Mrs. Anuradha seized her laughter and warned me not to butt Into her family's issues.

She said, I wasn't family and I wouldn't ever be like one.

She turned around and walked away.

I slammed the door after she left, how dare she speak with so much hateful tone?

The next morning, I got out of my room and everyone was busy having breakfast.

There was this gloom on their face when a  feminine voice screamed behind them.

We looked back together and immediately everyone got excited seeing her.

The entire family rushed outside to meet her.

She greets all of them but has a special greeting for Abhishek.

Abhishek hugged her and she kissed his cheeks.

I pulled Avanti closer and asked.

"Who is she,?".

Avanti whispered that her name was Pinky Meera, and she was Abhishek's girlfriend.

Who would have thought Abhishek could have a girlfriend?

Yes, he is cute but I never thought he would get a girlfriend.

Mrs. Anuradha pushed me out of the way and walked Pinky in.

She looked at me and walked away with her.

We all got back to the dining room table and Mrs. Anuradha sat her down next to Abhishek.

They both got a grin together and I couldn't help but feel a little strange.

I don't know why.

After dinner, I got a call from home, mom wanted us to speak.

I ran up to my room to have a video call with her.

Thereafter, I heard someone knocking on the door, I opened it and saw Pinky standing at my door.

"Hello javelin, can we talk?"

She says.

"Sure, come on in,".

I replied and showed her the way in.

Pinky sat on my way while I closed the door, I turned back and she grinned at me.

"Tell me, what's going on,?"

I pulled out a chair to sit.

Pinky got up from the bed and walked close to the door, she turned around to face me later on and expressed her interest in being my friend.

I wondered why.

Why would Pinky want to be my friend?

I didn't know what to say if I can be able to trust her.

Does Pinky want friends with me?

Something is going on, I wouldn't be surprised if Mrs. Anuradha has a hand in this sudden build of friendship.
