He is a billionaire, she is a billionaire. He is egoistic, she is egoistic. Everyone knows that unlike charges attracts, and like charges repels. But, Louella Warren and Seth Lee broke that law. How? Because their story is “Like charges attract”. Being billionaires, these two couldn't accept what fate offered to them. Neither of them wanted to drop the icy attitude, neither of them wanted to drop the ego, neither of them wanted to admit their feelings. How crazy and tiresome could this be? Was it a crime to say the words “I love you”?But, thinking about it, why were they like this? Love settles it all, right? Why would an ego disrupt the word “love”? Aside from their ego and wealth, could there be more to their stubbornness? Read as Louella and Seth struggled to accept what was easy to take. Read as they tried to fight the battles in their love life; as they tried to get out of the darkness; as they tried to create an almost impossible illuminant that would kill the darkness in their lives. And, how complicated could their story be, when triangles crawled into their already shaky love life? It wasn't just any triangle, it was the “Love triangle”.Read to know more!*Still editing*

One: Meeting

Louella•••••••••Just like every other day, New York city was busy.Honking cars suspended on the road, deafening music intoxicating the environment which was meant to be peaceful, the ambulance or police siren crying for the road users to make way for their passage, high schoolers walking by the road side, journalists hanging around companies to get one information or the other.I heaved a deep sigh, looking up at the Cirrus sky of the evening. What a beautiful view of the sky. Beautiful enough to make me feel blessed.Still staring up at the sky, a memory from ten years ago crawled into my head. It didn't just crawl into my head, it brought little tears to my eyes. And, not wanting to think about those sad times, I blinked to keep the tears, resuming being overwhelmed by the coolness around me.

Two: Janitor

I tried to keep myself calm. Since I had begun working, I had attended hundreds of meetings with the top CEOs and chairman of great companies, but this one felt so different.  First, I didn't have an idea of how the chairman looked like. Second, many people always spoke about his personality. They all said he was a cold, bratty dude, so straight forward. I wasn't so bratty, but I was sassy. Though I was confident, my dauntlessness had limits. And, what if this was a limit? What if I wouldn't be able to handle him? There was definitely no one I was scared of. But, when it came to my work, I liked to be careful. I didn't want to make the same mistakes I had made in the past. Yet, irrespective of how bad I needed to work with this company, I wouldn't let anything bring me down. If the chairman had an unscrewed nut in his head, I would deal with that in the right manner. The crazy manner.  Opening the door of my ca

Three: I'm Louella

He stared even harder. He raised his hand, lingered it in the air, those eyes narrowing too crazily at me. The moment he decided to take a step close, walk towards the table, someone tapped him from behind. He snapped his neck around, began speaking with whoever that was.  Good. This was the chance to escape. I could easily walk out of the meeting, and maybe ignore him, but that would cost my reputation. And, anything that costed my reputation, costed my life.  I skimmed my eyes through the room. To my surprise, everyone was on their phone. It really seemed like God wanted me to escape here. Great! But wait, how in the world would I do that? I jerked Rachel's skirt. She almost gasped, but probably tried to swallow the breath that would have escaped her throat. "Come on now. Don't just stand there doing nothing. Don't make me fire you." "But, ma'am—" "Do. Something

Four: Upset

I went through the files on my table, trying to be as steady as possible. I was devastated. For the first time in a long time, working my ass off wasn't able to help me get rid of my bad mood. And, this was all that man's fault.  Being a business woman, a couple of my business' offers had been rejected a lot of times. But, this one felt different. When Erin had decided to help me get qualified for the meeting, I hadn't been optimistic. But, when she had told me I was qualified for it, I had had so many expectations, only for the dude to threaten to send me out of his company.  The door of my office made a slight sound, which caused me to flinch. Raising my head, I saw it was Erin. Of course, it was her. She didn't smile, which meant it was time to get scolded. As she walked towards my table, I moved my eyes to the laptop in front of me.  She settled to sit on the leather chair by the other side of the tabl

Five: Weakness

She sniggered. "Whatevs. We both are bitches. Duh…" I scoffed. "Did you follow me all the way here? What else do you need to know?" "Um…" She sucked her teeth, narrowed her eyes at me. "Sort of. Well, I didn't follow you here, but fate did. She knew you'd be here tonight, so she pulled me here. She just wants you to know my victory." I swallowed. I already knew where she was taking this discussion to. "You got the offer? You're now working with Green Stars?" "You got it!" She snapped her fingers at me, gave me that menacing and cunning smile. "And, what makes me happy is that the company needed to do a small partnership with only one company. And, yes honey, that one company is my company." I took a long shot of my drink, drinking it as if it was an alcohol. If I was one of those weird people who took alcohol, I would probably be drunk by now, owing to how frustrate

Six: What the heck?

For the past three days, I had been working my ass off. In particular, I was working because I really needed to brush off every crazy thought in my head. Seeing dad had left me so devastated. And, to worsen this, I had no one around me. Erin was the only one who comforted me, but she was away, probably still angry at me.  I sipped from my mug of coffee, sighed. Also, I had been working so hard because I really needed my company to be the highest ranked company for the year. If that got to happen, I would earn more profit, as well, my company would stand out even more.  Taking the handout Rachel had prepared for the presentation of my next meeting, I began to go through it. About to swipe to the next page, someone knocked on my door. Had Rachel returned? So quickly? "Come in," I said, my eyes still glued to the paper in my hands. "That was quick. Were you able to get enough?" I asked as soon as she walked in.&nb

Seven: Uh-oh

We were both silent.  Wait, a few minutes ago, I had been putting my robe on. So, what if he had come out of the bathroom at that time? What if he had seen me naked? In the first place, what was he doing in my room?! Scanning him, I gulped. He was looking so, so hot. A white towel was wrapped around his waist, another around his neck. His dark, brown hair was wet, slipping past his eyebrows. There were his arms, not overly built like one of those bouncers or boxers' arms, yet built enough for any girl to like. Any girl who wasn't me.  "Y-You?" He cut the silence creeping around us. Okay. This was it. I wasn't ever going to think about people's stutter. That had to end Woah! This man was in my room, looking hot! Contemplating, also trying to be the crazy person I always was, I tried to frown again, then took a step close to him. "Hey, what're you doing in here?" I demand

Eight: Crazy

"Oh, sorry for interrupting you!" Someone cried from the crowd standing by the door.  Seth and I flinched for a second time, and moved away from each other. Practically, we had both acted like criminals who had been caught committing a crime. I really didn't want to believe what was happening. I would never have expected the journalists to come into the room I had paid for, for the night.  All I wanted was for the bed to swallow me at this moment.  Erin walked to me with widened eyes. She glanced at Seth, turned to me, glanced back at Seth, turned back to me. She was totally dazed. Obviously.  "Louella? What's going on?" She whispered. I would rather say she was being dramatic. Why had she moved her eyes that way? And why in the world was she whispering as if I had been doing something with him? I sighed, quite worried. "How did the media get here? Nothing was

Nine: Anything, Any time.

I was above being frustrated. Since morning, I hadn't even been able to work properly. I couldn't stop thinking about what had happened last night. I hardly let things affect me, but this time around, this was affecting me so bad! How could he have gone as far as lying to the media?  "This is the reason I tell you to stop being so stubborn," Erin continued to scold me.  I rolled my eyes. "Can you stop blaming me now? I didn't know the emergency button was connected to the other parts of the hotel. But wait, how did the reporters get in there?" "Um…" she sucked her teeth, drummed my fingers against the table. "Well, there was this guy who came to announce that Seth and you were in a room." I glared. "What?! How did the guy know that?" "Calm down, okay? I heard Seth's gotten him arrested," she informed me. Leaning her back against her seat, she sighed. "The guy's a

Ten: Daughter-in-law

His body seemed to have frozen, as his eyes shot irateness and hatred at me. Though his dirty look was so threatening, not a bit did I feel the need to release his sister from my capture. He had been telling me how well this lie had helped him, so what happened to him now? His throat got cut?  "How did you get my sister?" The way he glared at me, was as if I had murdered his entire family in the past. I wished I could do that.  I sucked my teeth. "Since I'm kind of influential, I managed to get quick information about your family. I heard she owns a boutique, so I went there to get her."  "Did you kidnap her?" He squeezed his face at me, seeming irritated, and snorted.  I shrugged. "Maybe. But, not really. Kidnappers always ask for ransom, but all I need is for you to clarify all that's going on on social media." He clasped his teeth. "Is this a threat? Holdin
