Chapter 218

Emily gasped in horror when she found the door leading into the apartment slightly ajar, with no sign of Brian or her child in view. She gulped down hesitantly as she took slow strides into the house, with her heart beating out of her chest and hands shaking fervently.

“Brian”, Emily shouted on top of her voice, blinking off the tears that welled up in her eyes.

Different thoughts swirled around her head as she was finally becoming convinced that Brian may have abducted her child.

“Brian!” She shouted again, finally making her way into the Baby’s nursery.
