She made to talk, but the words remained stuck in her throat. She couldn’t believe her ears, neither did she ever imagine that Brian would one day send her away.

“Brian! You don’t have to send me out of here. I’m yet to get a house, and you know that”, Emily whispered as tears welled up in her eyes.
