Chapter 138

“Get out! Now”, Emily yelled on top of her voice as she held her head that was banging terribly.

Barbara didn’t budge. She raised her voice and continued with her devilish and wicked laughter.

Just then, Emily lost strength and collapsed to the floor.

Barbara stopped laughing abruptly.

“Emily?” She called out, thinking that it was a tactic she pulled off to get her mute.

“Emily?”

Panic set at the moment Barbara shook her, and she didn’t flinch.

“What the hell!” She cussed under her breath and ran out of Emily’s quarters.

She quickly dialed Richard’s number and in a split second, they were on their way to the hospital.

“Did you kill her?” Richard asked Barbara, who was sweating profusely.

“Talk to me! What did you do to her?” Richard barked angrily as he glanced back at observed how lifeless Emily looked.

Barbara swallowed hard and rolled her eyes at him. She couldn’t understand why Richard behaved as though he would die if anything happened to her.

“Stop shouting at me! She is only a
