Chapter 131

“I understand that Barbara is always angry. But then, I think something is wrong this time”, Emily said after she recovered from the little show of Barbara’s aggression.

Richard nodded his head in affirmation and returned his gaze to Emily.

“I would go find out what this is about”, he placed a kiss on her lips and scurried out of the kitchen.

His eyes fell on the series of broken vase by the hallway and this heightened his interest in the situation that may have caused it.

“Barbara!” He called out, taking slow steps towards her room and trying so hard to curtail the anger that was beginning to brew inside of him.

He hated it when she destroyed things as though they didn’t matter. Of course, he had the money, but that wasn’t a basis for her to damage things whenever she wished to.

“Barbara! How many times do I have to tell you never to break things in my house? You can do that in your lover’s place!” Richard barked angrily as he barged into her room.
