Chapter Twenty One

Their romantic session was interrupted by a knock on the door. So they pulled apart.

"Yes, come in". Alex spoke loudly.

Sofia walked inside with a food cart.

Alex and his wife sat down on the same sofa in the library while their breakfast was being served by the maid.

She stepped aside after serving them, looking down, and spoke. "Would you want me to bring you anything else?".

"No, that would be all. Thanks ". Said Alex.

The maid was shocked. Alex was very arrogant and would never say thank you to anyone. She thought that this marriage surely was doing new things to him.

She exited the room immediately.

The couple ate in silence. Alex was stealing glances at his wife. She was so hungry that she wasn't noticing him.

As soon as they were done eating. He spoke.

"I want to take you out tonight. Let's go clubbing". He proposed.
